  How long Rou had been in that forest he didn't even know. But the entirety of the black spore outbreak simply stopped that day, never went further. All life that had been destroyed so far remained gone, but it was all quickly absorbed back into the infected Rou, whose body sat there mindlessly in the clearing. His fur a soft powdery spore collection, his body just firm enough to remain upright, some combination of slime and some other substance. Those soft green eyes of his were now black, thick, gloopy tears that had run down his face now crystalized on his cheek.
