Announcement

  Hey,

  I’ll keep this short.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to read my story despite the amateurish writing. I should’ve probably written this right after I dropped the series, but it seems I was still in denial, thinking I would come back to finish it (I still think I will, but it would probably need a complete reboot from the start). The main problem was burning through my entire backlog for exposure, so I had to write a lot of chapters on the fly without much time to plan or outline the story beyond the current arcs. I started winging it at some point, but it surprisingly still went well. It was kind of fun to find solutions and expand on ideas that I never thought too deeply about, but you can imagine how quickly that could lead to burnout (late updates, dragged-out chapters, etc.). Nonetheless, even though it was hobby writing, I still strived for perfection and tried by all means to write something that I, myself, would also read.

If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

Time wouldn’t be too kind if I tried to continue the story where it is, since most of the details would’ve been forgotten. I would also need to read it again from chapter 1 to remind myself, so a reboot in the future might be the best option. I ultimately decided to start a new story, and this time, I intend to fully lean into the genius character trope and strategy aspect. So if you’re a fan of puzzles and stuff, you can check out my recent works.

  As always, thanks for reading.

  Slade-lilo.
