23 - Sun

  The sky is a canvas,

  A canvas is a sky.

  Into which rise golden stems

  and blue-tinged leaves

Like pennants fluttering from golden lances.

In the centre, grand and bright

  The solar satellite gleams.

  Noon Star,

  Centre-point in a pale flag.

  Yet between satellite and I,

Seeming to flutter like a trio of

  butterflies,

Are three delicate creations of white, blue and

  a touch of pink.

That could be perched on the

  Central Orb Orchid Sun.
