I look through the list of my purchases yet again.
Cope that with my points, and now I almost look like a normal person.
Unfortunately that's the only thing I can do until my hand regenerates. I tried using life magic, but nothing came out of it, like totally. I lost some of the mana, but it didn't do much, not like I even need to heal myself with magic as of now, considering that my regeneration managed to rebuild part of my hand already. Honestly, the longest part of the regeneration seems to be the bone regeneration, as the flesh and muscles seem to come directly from bone once it's complete, at least it looks like it.
Once I unlocked this spirit parameter, the voices in my head subsided, to a degree. I still occasionally hear them whispering something in the distance, but not to the point of talking right into my ear, which is actually both good and annoying. I no longer can have anyone to talk to, or provide some additional info. On the other hand, it actually made the pain of losing a limb more bearable, and I don't have to wait in agony as my arm reconstructs itself. Regeneration was a must purchase specifically because of the time it takes to regenerate. After I bought the new regeneration trait, the speed nearly doubled, but I think that it's that and my attribute modification. I must say, there is quite a difference between my movement speed before and now, but I can't actually say for sure, as before I used power armor, and it actually increased my movement speed, while now I think I can move faster without the... I wonder what exactly made my power armor move so fast? Never knew I would wonder about it.
The Drake bloodline... well, I want to become a dragon, eventually. No, don't get me wrong, I love the idea of being a cool super soldier with immense amount of nanobots coursing through my blood, but what's more dangerous, a dragon with nanobots, or human with nanobots? Unfortunately, it's the next evolution that costs 800K, but then it comes the point where I can choose the path which I want to take, if any of the previous options for wyvern evolutions are of any indicator.
Now I might have talked about the reason behind getting the increased stats efficiency or elemental possession, but my arm is finally regrown, and here comes some bad new. Minigun is hard to operate without the power armor, and fixing it on my exo suit is a bit of a pain without having a second arm. Still, without armor, I can use it, and all that, but now I require to mount it, not because I can't handle the recoil, surprisingly, but because it's big, my arms are small, and it's really hard to actually use it while standing, forget moving. Armor on the other hand has certain difficulties reloading, just as before, but no second arm means I can't reload on the go. My hammer is even worse, my proud and joy weights fifty kilograms and is made to increase the kinetic energy applied through it, I could, when hitting from a certain angle, overturn light vehicles, of course if I were to use power armor. Now... I can lift it, but it's really hard to grasp it, and considering that it was a two handed weapon, gripping it with only hand hand from power armor makes it slightly weird to wield. In a human form I could only use my sidearm, R99-MX handcannon. Yeah, 8x40 packs a bit more punch than 7.62, is caseless and all that, but... it only houses 5 rounds, is really limited in the modification department, except the electromagnetic barrel extension that allows my firearm to pack way more punch than necessary, provided I activate it and charge it with batteries. Don't ask me, I have no idea how this actually works, but some of the eggheads looked to be so ecstatic about it. So now my main weapon of choice is this revolver for my finally regrown left arm, that has no armor, and a minigun in my right, that is mounted on the right arm of power armor.
Jack had stopped some distance from another small skirmish between demons. “It's surprisingly common in here. All sorts of demons, the regular red skinned demons with hooves, weird belly mouth demon, head mouth, blank face, insect-like, spider-like, worm-like, etc. The big ones take quite a lot of firepower to kill, so I try not to get into a battle with those, instead I fight the smaller ones. Surprisingly, most of the demons can be one shotted with the revolver, some require targeting weak spots, most of the time it's the head, but some have different weak spots, like the belly mouths need to be targeted at the groin, I think. Hi there, by the way.
Anyway, This time my enemies are a giant worm, like the one that bit off my arm, and a group of alien-like demons. They were quite agile and... they jumped right into his mouth. Oh I see, they have acidic blood, like in the movies! That way they will-” Jack looked with fascination and malevolent glint in his eyes as how the demons torn the worm inside out, without sustaining as much as single casuality. “I should back away now, right? I can, probably-” one of the demons suddenly screeched, as the group of other demons started tearing into the flesh of the worm, and moving away. “You know, it's first time I see demons not eating their kills immediately. I wonder where will they go?” Jack looked at the rest of the demons who grabbed parts of their kill, and started running in one direction, aside from a few others that stayed behind, eating the carcass. “Aight, I guess kill the guards, and steal the loot? Or follow the carrier team?” he then threw the coin in the air and looked rather dejected. “Carrier team it is. Alright armor, let's get you into inventory and take flight.”
