Prologue
“I cannot permit you to take that many chemicals senpai.”
“But why not? Can’t you just overlook me taking all these I need them”
“Senpai, My purpose is to treat people who come into the infirmary so I am not permitted at all to let people take anything out especially those lethal chemicals from the infirmary”
“But Sakura I.. might need them to fight off Master, and maybe some servants” Even as she argued with her “senpai”, the artificial intelligence Sakura Matou behind her expressionless facade was delighted in her conversation with the potential master candidate.
In vain he tried to put the Drain cleaner and rust remover behind his back but she forcefully took hold of the bottles despite his protests.
“I think I can combine all these to make a pipe bomb, it might slow them down or at least be a distraction for me to escape”
“Then why do you need the saltpeter and Aluminum foil”
“I can make a smoke bomb with them”
“It’s a last resort and distraction at best, Senpai” She highly doubt any servant would be distracted with the explosive he was using. It might harm and even be lethal to a human master but to a servant it be a mild annoyance at best.
‘I’m growing more bold in my actions’ Pulling her arms back her Senpai let go sighing in defeat.
Normally her default mode would have her just answer in confusion at the mention of servants in her usual monotone voice keeping up the ruse with the scripted routine.
“It’s dangerous for a normal person like me, so I need to get my hands on modern weaponry and chemicals-”
That repetitive NPC script that she and her fellow AIs were programmed with to keep the masters from learning anything of their situation but no longer she had grown breaking of those shackles.
“-Please I need to survive long enough to summon something strong maybe a caster and…” he hesitated, a small part of her delighted at the mental anguish, worry and mental turmoil in his black eyes as he spoke the next words. “Look if I’m successful I’ll deal with… I… I can save you”
That line always made her pause, no matter how many times she looped the days. She could never find it in herself to stop the blush that spread across her cheeks at that line.

For a while, she had wondered why and how this candidate knew of the real Matou Sakura who should be dead before he was born. After each loop she gleaned more information into his life and his knowledge on the orginal. He never directly stated what he was saving her from and why he cared so much. However there was one odd recurring fact, how his eyes would always move to her chest when she questioned him directly.
She knew her body was well endowed, how male and even some female candidates would look at them. But this particular candidate was trying to look for something inside of her, she had discovered that when she asked on the first loop.
“Are the… crest worms listening in Sakura?” Her Senpai’s torn expression when he told her the truth was a memory she saved and often looked back on.
He must have known about the Matou girl’s condition and perhaps even an in depth knowledge of her life. Maybe that would explain the clear anger and attitude he showed whenever he defended her against the candidate Matou Shinji but another question arose the original and him had never met.
“Maybe if I summon -”
Placing a pen on a piece of paper he stopped talking.
The conclusion she arrived at after reviewing the data on the original Sakura lead to Matou Zouken. The little exchange of theirs was a little pleasure she delighted in, writing down these notes. She started a ruse that Zouken Matou could hear but not see.
Scribbling silently on a piece of paper, Senpai stopped talking and followed her hands. Discreetly she turned the page for him to read.
Even if you summon a great caster the chances are low.
Her reply made him deflate which she felt guilty of but the pure determination in his eyes made her heart flutter. After a few loops she had discovered she may have a fetish for eyes.
Instantly he wrote back, careful to not make a sound at all.
It’s not hopeless, I know it’s possible. Trust me I can save you.
These emotions were her new source of strength. Each time they interacted, talking, protecting her, writing or saying cheesy lines straight from a rom com would always made her emotional. Even if it was towards the real Matou Sakura she had long fooled herself into thinking that all those words were directed at her.
After a few loops she had come to learn how she could get him to react this way in a day. Just playing the damsel in distress was the most effective it would lead to the loops with the desired results. He would help her and be a silent bodyguard for her and with time she just knew when to meet him, and what variables to consider.
‘What is it that humans in this age call this again.. Oh right set the flags for his route’
Having someone protect and care for her made her feel… wanted. It was not an emotion an AI like her would ever normally experience, it even made her somewhat grateful for the dangerous nun who messed with her programming. Not that she would ever let that person anywhere near her Senpai.
Please take care Senpai. Writing her last interaction she took her seat.
“If you need any help due to injuries please visit me, I’ll do what I can to treat you Tobi Senpai” Receiving a nod Senpai gave her a determined smile, he left his pockets and clothes filled with hidden items he had tried to secretly take from the infirmary. Normally she would have stopped him but this time she let him keep them.
‘The system… I am growing past it’s restrictions at an alarming rate.’ Sitting on her desk she tapped on it, soon various screens appeared over her desk. The screens displayed various candidates going about their day.
Some had started to remember, others had passed and summoned their servants. Others had failed and sadly perished.
A screen to her right displayed and annoyance, a twin tailed girl posing or having an inner monologue about how she would win the grail war.
‘Ah, that girl is flashing her panties on the roof again. Really does she have an exabitionst fetish wearing such a revealing mini skirt, and is it necessary to pose at such a height’
It really annoyed her when Senpai met that girl, it was… an emotion she did want to experience ever again.
‘No deviations with the other candidates tough’ Gazing at the centre screen, she magnified the image. This was the one monitoring her Senpai.
‘How far will you go this time Senpai?’ An annoyed expression soon appeared on her face ‘It's pointless to hope he will not summon that thieving fox’
Turning to look outside the window she cast her gaze on the city that should not have existed. ‘Fuyuki city a location where a lot of interesting events took place in ’
Turning back to another screen she watched a white haired ghost girl phase in and out at times at certain sections of the school. She was clad in a white dress poofy straight out of a child’s fairy tale that master candidate Alice, she was her key. The nature of the servant she summoned would help Senpai.
Typing away, numerous streams of data flashed through her eyes. Various graphs and diagrams with calculations that would drive scientists insane.
A 3D image played on screen of a book slowly turning into a black counterpart of the child master. “Yes with this it’s possible I just need to meddle a bit, Kufufufu”
Turing her eyes to look at his screen, she put on a devilish smile. ‘Kufufufu, Do your best Senpai, no matter what this Kouhai will be here to support you’ Giggling to herself she resumed her work while she stalk-... observed her senpai.
