Day 0 - Deity rank

[You fucking ANT!!! How dare you attack me again and again!? Aren't you afraid I will wipe you out from the face of this universe!? I will utterly destroy you and your camp! Purchase the highest available units with the remaining Soul Points! TRASH THEM INTO NOTHINGNESS!!!](Abigor)

Nope, scratch that. It was SUUUUUUUPER effective! Effective to the point where he directly made use of the entire amount of points he had left, forcing the final round of this fight.

"Okay people! This is what we prepared for! I'm taking command!"

"Good! Mia, it is time for a concert! Start with the Song of Abundance and continue with the Final Requiem! We're also going all out!"

  [Yes, master!](Mia)

The first one increased the recovery of HP and MP by 200% for the following ten minutes, while the requiem buffs the dealt magic damage by 500% while decreasing the user's magic resistance by 800%. Simply put, it was a double edged knife to be used on in specific situations. This, was one of them!

  "All magic classes, prepare!"

  [[[OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH!!!]]]

  "It's time to end this!"

The time for the final showdown arrived! It made me wonder how many will we face this time...

"Eh!?" - I let out a stupid voice because of the unexpected situation

Tilting my head, I saw the fourteen monsters averaging at over 4 meters. The looked like a combination between a human and a bull, but very different from a Minotaur. Their features were quite hard to describe, but they did have wings, although disproportionate to their size...

Each one had a red-glowing orb in their left hand and a short sword on the right, giving an imposing feeling once one saw them.

"Wao... I think I might've fucked up this time... Wait! What the fuck!? Weren’t they supposed to be limited to level 13 maximum!? Those are fucking level 18!!! Weren’t they originally level 20!?"

Seeing the multitude of spells available to those fourteen behemoths, I staggered quite a bit. However...

"He who strikes first, wins! Prepare all your magic skill and hurl them at the enemy! D, Alexandra! Hold nothing back!"

  [[[Yes, sir!]]]

  [Understood!](Alexandra)

  [By your will!](D)

The amount of mana gathered in the atmosphere around the wall reached the point where it was almost physical and could be touched by extending one’s fingers. Everyone focused on the magic they were best at and poured in all their efforts in order to defend their home.

"Seems like I need to give it my best as well! If it's magic, how can I lose to anyone else? Pandemonium, activate! Hydrogen Blast!"

I staggered and one of the elves caught me before I toppled over from the archer tower. It wouldn't be funny to die like that... Corbett and Khrone would laugh their asses off if that would happen...

Thanking the girl that caught me, I raised my head and stared at the area I detonated. Mhm... How should I put this?

"...that looks comparable to the festivities in Rio de Janeiro."

I couldn't help but scare at the huge amount of spells and skills pouring onto the fourteen targets, only for the entire area to be encompassed by a large explosion, destroying everything from grass, dirt, oxygen, mana and monsters.

  "Wao..."

  [That...](Alexandra)

[Yes... It's at least three times more powerful than the one we used back then...](Decarbia)

  [NO!!!](Mia)

Among the contemplating looks and complaints, with a loud scream, Mia literally sprouted wings and flew in the direction of the tower I was in, drawing my attention towards the upcoming fireball. Although, meteor would be more appropriate...

[Song of shed mortality! Will of the Guardian!](Mia)

The feeling she was now giving, was more pure when even compared to Eternity when it came to the divinity she was exuding. The wings helped a bit as well...

"What I'm I doing admiring the scenery! She'll get hit by that and she'll be toasted!"

"Imaginarium activate! Protective dome! Pandemonium, activate! Water infused mana!"

  *BOOOM!*

Another loud explosion rocked the sturdy wall and the aftershock threw a couple of people off the wall. Given their constitution, I was not worried since it was only three to four meters high, but Mia on the other hand looked....

"...FINE!? How are you alright after being hit by that? Even my dome broke!"

[It is one of my skills. It gives me three seconds of invulnerability and with the Song of shed mortality I can absorb the mana from a single spell. But since master used the dome, I barely got back 700MP...](Mia)

  "..."

I wanted to yell 'give me back my worries and HP' when seeing that I had a silver of HP left, literally 6 points away from death... but I didn't. I was actually happy to see her alive and a bit sad that she grew up so fast (to be more OP than me).

"Alexandra, would you make the honors?"

  [With pleasure! Tornado!](Alexa)

  "..."

I turned speechless from the way too excited response. Wasn't that overkill? I mean, that poor Elite Pit Fiend probably gave its all and poured all the accumulated resentment towards us in the spell (which was nullified as if a joke by Mia), therefore it was already half-dead. Was there a need to end it in such a grand and exaggerated fashion?

Yes there was! That way that bitch Abi-girl will get even more pissed off than I am right now!

I had as of now, a grand total of eight billion Soul Points and I totally looked forward to buying as many pretty elves and skilled dwarves as possible. In addition, there was the free tech, some sort of artefact and even a world blessing!

That shitty game God explained those before the tutorial started, so getting one this early will certainly be absolutely amazing! Just thinking of getting something similar to the blessing I got from the World Tree… I couldn’t help but grin.

[You don't have to get happy so soon...](Corbett)

[Mhm! The true reward is still to be given! Open your eyes wide Michael! This, is the gift I've granted you!](Khrone)

[Using your authority as the God of this world, shout the word 'declaration'. We will take it from there onward.](Corbett)

  "Uhm... okay..."

Nothing ventured, nothing gained I guess! Nevertheless, do I really need to show to everyone that I am the Chaos God?

  "Haaah.... DECLARATION!"

Midgard trembled! Literally! After the earthquake, the air froze, the clouds stopped in place and it felt as even time itself was brought to a halt. However, looking at the Elves behind me watching me with stupefied eyes, I couldn't help but chuckle softly.

"Leave everything to me. I'll bring this to a close in the name of our Chaos God!"

  [[[Yes, sir!!!]]]

"That said, I have less than 100HP and MP. Is that enough for what you have in mind?"

[It's more than sufficient. Look! He seems to have noticed.](Corbett)

[You! What did you do? How can a puny ant invoke a duel declaration? I see! Therefore, you are him! HAHAHAHA! Finally! You have finally showed yourself coward! I will bring your head back to the Sun Lord and I will easily promote! Hahahah... Hmm!?](Abigor)

There were no words on my part... or more adequately put, I couldn't muster the strength to give a rebuttal to that little bitch Abi-girl. I felt that every ounce of energy in my body was stripped away leaving behind a truly cold feeling.

The next second however, a warm influx of mana coursed through my veins, creating a connection with the World Tree.

"The World Tree is supplying me with mana? And were both Pandora's gifts automatically used? What’s this?"

[Mhm! That's my innate skill. The Heaven Devouring skill. Everything that we can 'eat' will become our power!](Khrone)

Leaving aside the absurd and vague explanation, the overflowing mana was being channeled and was bringing 'something' into existence. The shape... was quite familiar...

  "The chains!?"

[You used them before, right? However, unlike your crude imitation, this is the real deal.](Corbett)

[Corbett, you bastard! Focus and stop dropping all the workload on me! You know I'm bad at mana control... Do you want to wipe out his civilization?](Khrone)

[Hmpf! I can do this much without even paying attention. It's you who's barbaric personality prevents something as easy as controlling your own mana to happen...](Corbett)

"Would you both just focus and stop spouting such terrifying stuff!?"

Seeing the chains materializing out of nowhere around me, all the elves but Decarbia and Alexandra cheered. Those two saw the price I had to pay previously for forcibly using a skill above my level and even experienced it themselves. They were worried that it might be the same right now as well.

I turned my head and gave them a confident smile, while thinking how uselessly cool I am right now even if I am basically doing nothing in this situation, except standing still. I am good at pretending to do something though...

[You bastard! What did you do!? What's with the rampaging mana in this world? Hmpf! Never mind though! Do you think whatever an ant like you can do would be sufficient to entrap a quasi-Ancient like myself? Stop deluding yourself and gaze onto the power that you will never even hold a candle to!](Abigor)

Another maelstrom of mana had begun swirling around the Abi-girl, looking almost as threatening as the chains. I actually started sweating, thinking that the restrictions I hoped were set in placed might've been flung to the side by this Devil in front of me. If someone as strong as him can directly use his personal strength, would there even be a need for a contest anymore!?

[Don't panic. That's an artefact... Judging by the mana level, it should be around Level 4 of the mana gathering type. He's basically trying to steal the mana of the world forcibly and open a portal to escape...](Khrone)

[In front of this lord!? He actually hopes to wrest the control of the mana from me while I am using a medium that's the owner of the world itself!? That's the most insulting thing I've heard in the past couple of eons!!!](Corbett)

Sensing the (unjustified) rage of this ancestor of mine, the chains began to hurl themselves at the space around the Abi-girl, locking it into place and isolating the mana. Simply put, anyone else by but myself won't have the option of even circulating mana in their body, even less so able to cast spells...

[You!!! What have you done!? How can you lock the space itself? This is a Level 5 divine artefact I gained due to my efforts in the previous game. It's impossible even for Ancients to lock the space using mana only! Who... What are you!?](Abigor)

[As always, you are bad at estimating the level of mana Khrone. It seems like you still have much to learn...](Corbett)

[Damn! That's a level 5 mana gathering artefact!? Just how good is the luck of this kid?](Khrone)

[However, given his low divinity rank, I don't believe that he can consume the full power of this small fry...](Corbett)

[Mhm... Indeed, that's too much of a stretch even with my ability. Hey, kiddo! What's your current Deity rank?](Khrone)

"Deity rank!?Wow... I haven't heard that term in a while... Let me check."

"Mia, connect me to the interface please!"

  [Hmm? Okay...](Mia)

  [An AI? Suspicious...](Corbett)

"Wh-what are you talking about? She's only a helper!"

[What are you flustered about? He was talking about the fact that your civilization actually has an AI to begin with. Do you know how hard it is to get one of those? They are comprised of tons and tons of knowledge and they are absolutely indispensable to the rapid evolution of a civilization. He was talking about how it is suspicious for you to receive that much attention and help from the Star Lord of your group... Do you think the connection with us might have been discovered already?](Khrone)

  [Impossible! It's too early.](Corbett)

"You're worrying too much. In my honest opinion, is just that shitty game God you are calling Star Lord, enjoying himself while adding an uncontrollable variable to his team. That is why he gave me the Manual Mode. Also, all members of our group of one thousand players have the AI."

[What!? 1000 players with an AI each? Corbett, is that even possible?](Khrone)

[...if he traded most of his divinity for it, yeah...](Corbett)

[Who would be stupid enough to do that!?](Khrone)

"YOU TWOOOO!!! Can you please make some sense when you talk!?"

[Right... apologies. I keep forgetting how ignorant you are about the divine matters...](Corbett)

"Can't you say that I am new to it instead!?" – I complained unhappily

[It's not that easy to advance in levels once one ascends to divinity and reaches a certain point. However, once that level is being breached, they will have sufficient power to help others grow as well. Meaning that, having full control over divinity, they can take or grant more power onto others. Your Star Lord might've traded a major part of his divinity, for extra perks in the game. It is not unheard of, but it is risky... Thinking about all other actions this leader of yours took, he either has great foresight or he is quite the gambler.](Corbett)

"I incline towards the last... Even right now, he is probably enjoying his tea while watching us struggle."

[Anyway, Khrone? Are we all good?](Corbett)

[Yeah! All set. What do we do with the excess?](Khrone)

[Well... we can't just store it for later, so let's just gift it to his alliance members.](Corbett)

[Sounds good. So kid? Your rank?](Khrone)

  "Oh, right! Interface!"
