So it turns out that in fact Luna Lovegood was not fae… so how she had mao get married to Harry was still a mystery.
Luckily her not being fae meant moving against her should be easier. Dumbledore looked up at the final correspondeter. Finding a expert on the Winter and Summer court had been expe knowing now for certain that the Lovegood family had little to no fae lihin it. Had made the cost well worth it.
Dmblee doors was itturpted form his using with a sharp ki the door.
”e in!” The great bearded one shouts. As he looked up towards the mairao his office fbefore cim at Fawkes who was sitting on his Perth looking back at him.
”Headmaster Dumbledore.” Snape said announg his entry as he walked in his cloak illowing behind him.
“Ah, professor Snape. Did you mao find Young Laydy Lovegood and Harry pottter/ Dumbledore asks
”Yes sir, they are back at the castle.” Sates
Dumbledore leaned ba his chair, steepling his fingers as he absorbed Snape’s words. “Back at the castle, you say? How did they mao do that the train is not due batil tomorrow.” His voice carried a note of curiosity mingled with . “And how were they? Did you notiything… unusual about their demeanor?”
Snape’s expression remained impassive, but a faint sugged at the er of his mouth. “Aside from the fact that they were quite clearly trying to avoid me at all costs? Nothing particurly out of the ordinary—by their standards, at least. Potter seemed as irritatingly self-assured as always, and Miss Lovegood…” He hesitated, his sneer faltering. “She’s… scary have you ever noticed that?”
Dumbledore's brows rose slightly, a flicker of surprise breaking his usual calm demeanor. “Scary, Severus? That is not a word I hear you use often. Eborate.”
Snape's lips pressed into a thin line as he sidered his words. “There’s something about her,” he admitted relutly. “An uling quality beh that veneer of whimsical detat. It’s as if she sees through you—past your masks and defenses—yet doesn’t care to aowledge them. It’s unnerving.”
Dumbledore chuckled softly, though his eyes remained sharp. “Ah, Luna. Although she may seem that way I guarantee you despite teh rumors that she is infact fully human. There is on fae blood in her family line whatsoever.”
“What about the possibility of her being a geling?” Snape asks
Dumbledore leaned ba his chair, his expression growing more serious as he stroked his beard thoughtfully. “A geling? An intriguing suggestion, Severus. But highly unlikely.” He gestured to a rolled-up part on his desk. “I’ve goo great lengths to verify her lineage, even sulting with experts on the subject. There is no evidence of fae interference or substitution within the Lovegood family tree.”
Snape crossed his arms, his eyes narrowing. “A, her behavior is anything but ordinary. She has an air about her—something otherworldly. Perhaps your experts missed something.”
Dumbledore smiled faintly, a glimmer of amusement breaking through. “I assure you, Severus, Luna Lovegood’s etricities are entirely her own. It is her unique perspective on the world that gives her an aura of mystery, not some e to the fae.”
Snape remained unvinced. “Then how do you expin her... prese’s not just her demeanor—it’s the way she is with magic, with people. Even Potter seems to orbit around her as if she were some celestial body.”
“Perhaps that is her gift,” Dumbledore replied. “Some individuals possess a natural retionship with magic itself. It could verywell expin her sight.”
Snape scowled. “If you say so, Headmaster. But I advise caution. If she is merely etric, then fine. But if there’s more to her thahe eye—”
“Then we shall face it together,” Dumbledore interrupted gently. “Luna is no threat to us, Severus. If anything, her presend closeo Harry is not something whic his good for his health. It is better for them to be seperated.” ============
Princess Celestia sat regally upon her golden throne, sunlight streaming through the grand stained-gss windows of terlot’s throne room. The day court was in full swing, nobles aioners lining up to present their requests and grievances. It was a familiar rhythm, a symphony of pleas for nd grants, disputes over trade routes, and the occasional heartfelt request fuidance. Celestia handled each matter with her signature grad wisdom, her serene expressioraying none of the weariness such sessions often brought.
As the petitioepped forward, ah pony mare nervously adjusting her hat, a sudden and intense burst of magical energy rippled through the air. The throne room fell silent as everypony turoward the source of the disturbance. In the ter of the hall, a swirling portal of silver and midnight blue magic materialized. The air crackled with raw power, and before anypony could react, the portal spat out a cascade of unis and thestrals, all tumbling onto the marble floor in a disanized heap.
The nobles gasped in arm, and the guards stationed along the walls immediately moved to surround the ued arrivals. Spears lowered, their tips gleaming threateningly. Celestia, however, rose from her throne, her wings fring wide in a gesture of authority.
“Halt!” she anded, her voice resonating through the room. The guards froze, though their eyes remained locked on the new arrivals.
The pile of ponies began to untaself. A thestral mare with bat-like wings and a disheveled mane was the first to stand, her golden eyes darting around the room in bewilderment. “Where in the moon’s name are we?” she muttered.
A young uni stallion, his horn still glowing faintly from residual magic, looked up at Celestia with wide, awestruck eyes. “Princess Celestia?” he whispered, his voice tinged with both awe and relief. “We’re in Equestria?”
Celestia stepped forward, her expression a mixture of curiosity and calm reassurance. “Yes, my little ponies,” she said gently, her gaze sweeping over the group. “You are in Equestria, within the halls of terlot Castle. But tell me, how is it that you have e here in su... ued manner?”
The thestral mare exged a gh the uni stallion, her wings rustling uneasily. “We were sent here,” she said hesitantly. “By Princess Luna.”
Celestia’s eyes widened almost imperceptibly, and a ripple of murmurs spread through the assembled court. “Princess Lu you?” she asked, her tone remaining even though her mind raced. “Please, expin.”
The uni stallion stepped forward, bowing deeply before speaking. “Yhness, we were… straaken from our homes and held captive in a pot of Equestria. Princess Luna appeared to us and freed us, but she said she could n us directly back herself. Instead, she sent us through a portal that her husband had jured up, promising it would deliver us safely to Equestria.”
Celestia’s heart ached at the mention of her sister. She had thought that using the elements would pureify her not seo the moon. Her biggest fear was that rather than nightmare moourning a corpse would return upon the end of the ohousand years… So the fact that there are new poellihat her little sister… Her little Luna is alive and well calms her heart greatly.
“You have been through much,” Celestia said, her voice warm and soothing. “Know that you are safe now. Guards, please escort uests to the royal chambers where they may rest and recover. Ehey are given food, water, and anything else they may need.”
The guards hesitated only a moment before following her orders. The thestrals and unis, still disoriented but visibly relieved, began to file out uhe watchful eyes of the royal guards. Before they left, the thestral mare turned back to Celestia.
“Thank you, Princess,” she said sincerely. “And… please tell Princess Luna that we are grateful. She saved us.”
Celestia ined her head, her smile soft but genuine. “I will, my dear. Rest now. You are home.”
