Chapter 55: Filming in Progress

The world setting of Goblin Syer differs in many ways from this current world, so one of Edward’s main challenges during filming is resolving these differences.

After filming the sed se, which is Goblin Syer's fshback, Edward embarked on endless revisions.

Many elements iory were localized to fit the realities of this world, especially regarding the religion and adventurers’ guild.

Sihere was quite a gap between the inal work and this world, Edward spent a long time adjusting it to make it more immersive for the audience.

Initially, Edward even sidered cutting the fshbatirely, but after carefully reviewing it, he decided to keep it as it enriched Goblin Syer’s character.

Judging by the final filmed result, it turned out to be the right decision.

As they reached the first key plot point, the filming of Goblin Syer entered a difficult phase.

Watg as the gobli, which had been painstakingly built by Eliza’s guild workers and some adventurers from the North, was beiroyed in the fight between the main characters and the troll, Edward showed a helpless expression. "I was thinking of turning this into a tourist attra ter, but it's all being wrecked now..."

“What did you just say, Director Edward?” Eliza asked curiously from the side.

Edward just shook his head slightly and instructed, “Anyway, the fight se is mostly done, let’s have the troll exit now!”

At this point, they were filming the end of the first mission of the main party, where they enter a much strohan-expected enemy—a troll—and are drawn into a desperate battle.

Acc to the script, the troll is supposed to die at the hands of Goblin Syer using a teleportation scroll.

But this isn’t just any ordinary teleportation seant for esg; it’s a reverse teleportation scroll that summons something from the target location.

What does it summon? Goblin Syer ects the scroll to the deep sea, and when the portal opens, the intense pressure from the o forces the water to bst through with terrifying force, destroying everything in its path.

Not only would a troll be obliterated, but even a fully armored tank would be torn apart in an instant.

This was Goblin Syer’s trump card, though initially, he po use it to destroy the gobli.

Though the se was difficult to film—mainly due to the props a design—luckily, the Northern Guild, with their wealthy and bold Guild Master Eliza, provided full funding.

Thanks to their resources, the filmi quite smoothly.

  …

At the filming site, through Edward's well-pced cameras, the battle between the main characters and the troll was clearly captured.

In pursuit of authenticity, her the Headless Horseman nor Wiz were present at the se, so the troll was gerying to tear the actors apart based on its instincts.

In trast, within the main cast, aside from Daphne who was just there to make up the numbers, the others were all high-ranking adventurers.

For them, defeating a siroll would be an easy task, but for the sake of the se, they had to suppress their strength and pretend tle, which was quite frustrating for them.

Finally, the 'wounded' Goblin Syer pulled out a scroll from his waist.

A dazzling blue light fshed in the underground space, and in the moment, the terrifying troll was ripped i pieces, as though it had been a fish on a chopping board!

  “What… what just happened?!”

Looking at the troll’s dismembered body in shock, Goblin Syer calmly expined, “A teleportation scroll. The other side was ected to the o floor. The moment it activated, the pressure from the deep sea shot the water through like an unstoppable bde.”

  “What…?”

Eveg party members were stunned, exg, “A teleportation scroll be used like that? I didn’t know somethi for esg could be used this way…”

“But to go so far, using something like that just to kill goblins… this is really…”

  ...

" it up! We're done for the day! Thank you, everyone! Adventurers, please help up the area. Guild Master Eliza said she’ll treat everyoer this!"

With Edward’s words, the already excited adventurers became even more energized, eagerly helping to tidy up the set while chattiedly.

“Did you see that? That was a real teleportation scroll! I didn’t expect Director Edward to be a real mage, and so young too—it's unbelievable!”

“Yeah, I thought powerful mages always locked themselves up in dark rooms doing research. I never imagined someone as outgoing as Director Edward.”

“By the way, did you know Guild Master Eliza will be pying the Sword Saintess in the movie? Aren’t you excited?”

“No way! Seriously?! I’ve got to be there for that! By the way, do you know where the Water Town ses will be filmed? It doesn’t seem like there’s a pce like that in the North…”

The adventurers didn’t bother hiding their versations, so Eliza and Edward, who were also helping up, overheard them.

Eliza looked slightly embarrassed, while Edward asked, “You didn’t tell them that we’ve already filmed the Water Town ses? No wonder no one showed up when we were filming—it was you who deliberately kept it quiet…”

Eliza simply turned her face away awkwardly and replied, “What could I do? I didn’t want those guys to see me like that. Otherwise, how am I supposed to tinue being a Guild Master?”

In fact, while preparing for the gobli ses, Edward had already taken Eliza and the main cast to aown to film the Water Town storyline.

inally, Edo use that town for filming the sed season of Konosuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World, but after realizing the Water Town required a simir set, he had no choice but to use it here first.

  The result was fantastibsp;

The Water Town ses were filmed smoothly, and they were all pleted even before the gobli set was finished.

This means there’s only one se left to film foblihe final battle against the Goblin Lord.
