Chapter 19: Savior of Evil is Finally Here!
---
Even vilins need a savior.
Previously, Shuhei Morita never quite uood what this phrase meant. After all, "vilin" and "savior" seemed like tradictory terms.
But when he saw Dio... when he saw Dio in the scripted world stand back up after wearing the Stone Mask... he uood.
There is a type of vilin called DIO!
There is a vilin archetype called Dio Brando! Once "Phantom Blood" airs, this new vilin type named after DIO will undoubtedly sweep through the entire industry, redefining what it means to be a vilin!
Shuhei Morita now firmly believes this. Uher vilins that audiences prehend, DIO's "evil" is not the kind that simply hits teachers or hospitalizes people, nor the kind that skips out on paying for meals—these are obvious, simple acts of evil.
DIO's evil is more unique. Purely in terms of evil deeds, Dio, who essentially wants to usurp the Joestar family's wealth, couldn't be more evil than those vilins who want to destroy the world.
Yet, only DIO is called the savior of vilins. This is not only in the description within "JOJO" but also how the audience, who are well-versed in such stories, generally view him.
Other vilin characters are just bad people, but DIO is the savior of vilins!
The reason lies in DIO being an ily evil person. He was bradually discarding humaions, never developing affe for others or feeling any guilt over death. This ess and ruthlessness, akin to how one species treats another, is DIO's true allure!
Yes! DIO's appeal isn't that he's bad enough, but that his cold-bloodedness, mixed with a human in that adds emotion, and his excitement for blood, creates a unique charm that no other vilin offer!
This is why those who love DIO most also most want to kill him.
Shuhei Morita, having finally uood Pucci's initial description, sincerely admires Pucci for creating such a character and DIO for portraying this demanding role so vingly.
So...
Beep, beep, beep... 110.
"Hello, Officer Yamon? No, there's nothing wrong. I just want you to help me iigate someone."
"Yes, it's an actor in our full-dive produ. His subscious is a bit... special..."
---
"Ryoko, I've suddenly realized something..."
As Dio's behavior made people increasingly questioher he was still human and whether he had ever truly itted a crime before, Jolyne Cujoh tinued her usual sg off, searg the i for ways to quickly lose money.
Even though seargines would suggest numerous ways to avoid losing money wheyped "how to lose money," they offered no direswers on how to do so. Yet, Jolyne had her own search methods.
Her choice of full-dive filming as the starting point of her money-losiure stemmed from disc that such produs frequently entered ued issues.
Despite having a script and careful supervision, no one could predict how the actors' subsinds would affect the scripted world. Would they derail the script from the beginning, causing the iment to go down the drain?
Pucci's rapid acquisition of data temptes for filming "Phantom Blood" was thanks to colleagues whose runalots forced them to resell unused data temptes to recover costs.
So, as usual, Jolyne Cujoh searched for such tent today. Finally, her efforts paid off—she found a useful money-losing strategy!
"After getting teical assistance from Kamikaze Studio, the OP and ED for 'Phantom Blood' should be ready, right?"
Before implementing her pn, Jolyhere were some things she o ask.
"...If you want to preview the OP and check Kamikaze Studio's work, it might take a little more time," Ryoko Kakyoin responded, her heart sinking slightly at Jolyne's question. This wasn't her fault; Jolyne's ret mysterious as had been quite troublesome.
However, Ryoko felt a bit relieved that Jolyne was finally attending to her actual responsibilities as the boss of Green Dolphin Studio.
Rep on the produ status, she said, "Apparently, the OP involves a lot of eology and will take a bit loo plete. However, the ED, which has fewer plex elements, will be ready soon. Even the song for the ED has been successfully recorded under Pucci's supervision... Do you want to check it?"
Does this even need cheg? Jolyne, unsure of Pucci's musical talent, thought it robably mediocre; otherwise, why didn't he bee a singer? More importantly, didn't she already know Kamikaze Studio's level of work?
Recalling the mentally scarring se from before, she promptly deed Ryoko's offer aedly shared the crucial information she found online.
"Ryoko, have you heard of Advance Sings?"
