Chapter 74. We Love War the Most
---
Having seen how Shinbo Akiyuki trained Nobuo Tobita and having personally heard from Shinbo Akiyuki about his trainihods for Nobuo Tobita, Puow uands that immediately mastering all of Shinbo Akiyuki's teiques and applying them better than Shinbo Akiyuki himself would be unrealistic.
If Pucci had a system, it would be a different story. He could simply add points to the newly learned skills. Unfortunately, Pucci does not have such a ve system.
Naturally, Pucci's knowledge of Shinbo Akiyuki's skills means he is only aware of their existeo truly master and apply these skills at the level of Shinbo Akiyuki, Pucci must take it step by step, training and growing... if he were just an ordinary person.
Though g such a ve system, Pucci's greatest advantage as a traveler is the knowledge he brings from another world. Especially within the skills demonstrated by Shinbo Akiyuki, there is one skill that allows him to maximize his traveler abilities—
—Substitutiohod!
To make an analogy, it's kind of like Lü Xiucai from 'My Own Swordsman'. When the director first expihe script to Yu Entai, he was told to py a schor well-versed in literature. So, to prepare for this role, Yu Entai bought a stack of literary masterpieces to enhance his literary knowledge.
But when it came time to shoot, the director told him that the books he read were actually of no use...
In an instant, the feeling of being an underappreciated talent emerged from Yu Entai!
...But this is the traditional substitutiohod.
For full-dive shooting, the application of the substitutiohod is much simpler.
"By using the actor's subscious, it is possible to achieve growth characteristics through full-dive shooting. This method creates a special script space different from the inal script, allowing the actor to immerse themselves and find their feelings."
"In short, it's a method that is tasteless atable to discard."
Pucci, who chose this method, surprisingly rated it quite low. This is uandable. If one is looking for the right feeling, wouldering the inal script world be a better choice?
Why expera resources to create a new script world? Even if repeatedly filming a se causes the actor's subscious to resist, leading them to realize it's a false world, resulting in untrolble issues, the substitutiohod isn't limited to just this.
By reviewing each actor's background and finding suitable subscious actors, simir effects be achieved without specialized substitutiohods.
Therefore, this method is called tasteless.
If Nobuo Tobita were not impervious to ahod, Shinbo Akiyuki would not have resorted to such measures.
Although it was ultimately proven to be iive, it does not mean Pucci is incapable. With an abundance of scripts in his mind and having found numerous chosen actors through years of development, Pucci's straints have never been other issues but rather a ck of financial resources.
This is why Pucci chose to film "Phantom Blood" and "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure". Not only was it his boss, Jolyne Cujoh, who mentio, but pared to h-budget works, "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" is truly one of the best-selling low-cost produs, even outperf many high-budget works.
Even though Jolyne Cujoh's subsequent funding increase did not reflect the cost-saving effect, it does not mean it was absent.
So what about the substitutiohod?
Unlike filming aire story script, this method requires only a segment of a story to be created into a script space. This allows Pucci to film one or two segments in advahout needing too much funding, awakening the chosen actors ahead of time!
Just like now...
…
"Mr. Speedwagon, your ck of cooperation is quite troubling."
Calmly cutting his steak and putting it in his mouth, the German major spoke to the rescued and uncooperative Speedwagon: "If the Allies gain knowledge and ons we don't have, isn't there a ce Germany could be defeated?"
"Our war could end because of this, right?"
"I won't allow such a thing to happen."
"So please, tell us everything you know, Mr. Speedwagon." The major tinued politely, "Everything."
"No, it's impossible! You don't uand anything..." Speedwagon, trembling and looking at the Pilr Man statue dispyed with him, shouted, "You have no idea what sequences awakening it will bring!?"
Despite the seemingly harmless se and the fact that the German medical teology had saved his life, the Germans did not overly restrict his movements. Instead, they eve ay seat at the dining table, seemingly weling him to join them for lunch.
It felt as if he was merely a guest invited by the Germans, if not for the Pilr Man statue...
Because of this, Speedwagon, uo ighe Pilr Man statue, felt something truly horrifying from the major. It was a fear more terrifying than being bound by the Germans and forced to fess everything uruth serum!
It wasn't that Speedwagon was too old to handle such stimution. In fact, his willpower was among the top in the world, haviured alone and peo Texas, disc an oil field, and being a key pyer in the global ey.
But this was the first time he felt true fear from a human, a fear he had not experienced even from the vampire DIO. It wasn't about power, but an inprehensible and terrifying sense of horror in behavioral logic!
"You are putting not just us but Germany and even the whole world in danger!!"
"Isn't that great?"
"...?!"
"After all, we..." The major, finishing his steak and grinning with his mouth smeared with red sauce, said, "Love war the most!"

A/N:
Alright, it's time to clear up the fusion. There are many ese terms, so I'll expin them again.
"My Own Swordsman" is a quite famous ese sit. Lü Xiucai is a character in this sit, pyed by the actor Yu Entai.
Here, the inal author wants to illustrate the substitutiohod through this example.
The actor Yu Entai was told to prepare for the character Lü Xiucai, a schor well-versed in literature. However, after spending time learning about literature, the director told Yu Entai during shooting that the books he studied were useless.
So, Yu Entai felt underappreciated, just like the character Lü Xiucai, creating a parallel betweeor and the character.
This is known as the substitutiohod in ag.
