Nearly around the evening time, Shokei and her party has traveled far enough to arrive at the Ruined City of Thygya. The city looks moderate, and the buildings look rundown in ruins and devastation. The city is used to be known for advanced herbology.

  "So...this is Thygya..." Marie said, looking around.

  The party looks around the lost area as they walk around to see wrecked buildings and debris scattered around the ruined city. There is an obelisk, but it is already down on the ground, cracked and broken in some pieces. The pce appeared deserted and there were barely any life forms.

  "Our objective is to find the missing chemist here." Shokei said to her party. "We need to scout out the area by splitting up."

  "At least we got some torches." Obsidian said. "They will be useful in case it gets dark here."

  "Yeah, these will come in handy." Shokei said. "The heat is cooling down at this hour, so we should be good to be away from that heat."

  "Plus, it got cooler for some reason." Marie said, feeling the winds passing by.

  "Then let's split up while we can." Rei said.

  The party then breaks up to explore around the area of Thygya. As they start to explore the ruined city, Bck Death watches them from the skies and notices that Shokei is checking in one of the small, abandoned buildings in search for the chemist.

  "There you are my little prey." Lei the Bck Death said. "As long as you are here, I hope you won't come out alive. I think this area would be perfect to make a sneaky surprise attack very soon."

  Later on, the search for the chemist took Shokei and her party for a while as they are finding things that are not reted to the mission. Most of what they can find are boxes with random stuff such as gold, some potions, and useless junk.

  Rei and Marie are exploring in one of the buildings as they walk into a run-down temple. They are looking around the pce to see that there are sheets of papers scattered on the floor and most of the papers are torn or looked destroyed. The inside of the temple looks like it has been hit by a hurricane.

  "Hmm..." Marie looks around and sees a particur item to her interest. "Ooh, look what I found."

  Rei hears Marie ad she goes over to see what she has found. She was looking into one of the treasure boxes and finds that there is a scroll. On the scroll contained symbolic readings.

  "What's this?" Rei asked.

  "I dunno. I never seen such weird looking symbols that I can't even understand." Marie said.

  "Me neither." Rei said, seeing the scroll. "It's ancient, but I don't understand the meaning of the symbols either."

  "I should hold on to it in case if it's something legendary." Marie said. "I'll show it to Shokei and the others should we meet back together."

  "Good idea." Rei said, looks around the area. "There's nothing much to write about here, let's leave."

  "Yes." Marie said.

  From leaving the temple, Rei and Marie continues further and then they see a few buildings ahead of them.

  "Say, I'm going to take a look around in those other buildings." Rei said, walking off from Marie.

  "Hang on a minute!" Marie calls out to her and asked. "Are you sure you'll be all right by yourself? I don't think this is such a good idea."

  "I'll be fine Marie." Rei said to her. "It's just that I want to explore these buildings on my own here. What about you?"

  "Well...I just don't want to be alone here." Marie said to her.

  "I'm just going to take a look around in here." Rei said. "I mean, you can come with me if you want to."

  "I...I don't know..." Marie said, seeing how big the building is, which is about five floors up. "I'm...not used to scary pces..."

  "We're exploring together here." Rei said to her. "What's to be afraid of?"

  "Ehh...I can wait for you outside here, can I?" Marie asked. "I really don't want to walk in there."

  "Pfft! You're something else." Rei said and heads on inside. "You can wait out here. I'll be back."

  "Ummm, all right..." Marie said, feeling unsure about this. "Be careful..."

  As Rei enters inside the building, Bck Death looks down to see that Rei is off on her own and Marie is left outside alone. Then, the Necromutant can see that Marie had a change of heart and decides to explore a building that's nearby her and heads the opposite direction, leaving Rei behind.

  "Wow, what was she thinking?" The Bck Death said. "Leaving Rei alone and going off without her knowing? I'm amused now. I need to make a distraction and my target for Rei is on hand for myself. Once I get her, I'll be able to take care of Shokei and the rest of her allies, with no Rei in the spotlight! Heh heh heh..."

  Having thought of her pn, the Necromutant goes down to go after Rei without suspicion.

  On the other side, Shokei continues to explore Thygya. She is exploring inside the abandoned buildings as she is looking for Mizuki. All she can find is empty rooms that are devastated with nothing but destroyed items and cracked walls. Some walls have openings that can be gone through instead of opening a door. As she continues to explore further, Shokei can see that there is a path that leads up to a small temple. She walks up to get to the temple and notices that the entrance is already open. Shokei walks inside to check what lies in the temple. Then, she takes notice that there is someone inside the temple and appears to be a person that is asleep.

  Who can that be? Shokei thought.

  Shokei sees the person from a short distance as the person appears to be sleeping in a corner of a small room. The appearance is a woman in a bck tribal outfit. Shokei walks up to where the person is resting on the floor. She approaches with caution as she gets a closer look.

  Could that be...the chemist? Shokei thought to herself. I should call out to her just in case.

  "Hello?" Shokei calls out to the sleeping woman.

  No answer. The woman appears to be asleep.

  "Hello? Hello?" Shokei calls out to her again.

  No response.

  "Hey..." Shokei goes over and gently wakes the woman.

  "Eh...hmmm..." the woman wakes up from her sleep.

  Shokei waits to see the woman waking up from her sleep. Then, the woman is fully awake.

  "Hi..." Shokei said to her.

  "Huh?" the woman looks at Shokei and asked. "Who...who are you?"

  "Are you...Mizuki the Chemist?" Shokei asked.

  "Why, yes." The woman admitted. "This is she..."

  "Oh! So, you are Mizuki." Shokei said, confirming the missing person from Zeeletum.

  "Yes I am." Mizuki said, getting up from the floor. "And who are you by the way?"

  "I am Shokei." Shokei tells her. "A person named Ginko told me that you are here in Thygya."

  "She did?" Mizuki asked. Then remembers. "Ah Ginko. I haven't seen her for days since I've been here. How is she?"

  "She's doing good as far as I know." Shokei replied.

  "Yes. And I am gd that someone has found me, concerning my safety." Mizuki said.

  "I have found you all right...so what were you doing here at this time?" Shokei asked.

  "Me? I am trying to find an important medicine that will cure an illness of any kind on someone's sickness." Mizuki tells her. "The medicine I am searching for is called the Navelc."

  "Navelc?" Shokei asked her.

  "The Navelc, from what I have researched, is a small, pentagonal, red pill." Mizuki expined. "A famous chemist in a previous ancient time was best known for inventing this medicine. This type of medicine is very rare and hard to find around this city. No one knows much about the source for making these pills. I have been searching for this medicine for days and this ruined city is the only pce to find it."

  "Aha." Shokei nodded. "I see. Ginko told me what you were doing. And since I was able to find you here, I am willing to help you find this medicine."

  "You will? Great!" Mizuki said, her eyes lit up with a smile. "I didn't think I had to find this Navelc all by myself, but since you are here, I will allow you to help me in my search for it."

  "Actually, I have my allies out there in search for you." Shokei said to her. "I have not seen any of my party members get back to me in case they find you."

  "Really?" Mizuki asked.

  "Yeah." Shokei said to her. "But do you recall anything about the Navelc and where its located?"

  "By my research, the Navelc is hidden in one of the temples that is found in this area." Mizuki replied. "Legends say that the powerful medicine will never expire, and the pills were useful years ago by spiritual ushers."

  "Interesting." Shokei said. "You seem to know this medicine well."

  "Still, we cannot be standing here, discussing more about this." Mizuki said. "Let's continue and find another temple to search for."

  "Got it." Shokei said.

  Shokei and Mizuki leaves the small temple and continues their search for the Navelc.

  Meanwhile, Rei continues to explore in one of the buildings. She exits out and notices that Marie is not there waiting for her.

  Really Marie? Rei thought. You decided to wait here and then went off to explore without me? Sheesh!

  Disappointed, Rei shrugged, and she decides to explore alone. Walking through the ruined streets of Thygya, she sees old buildings cracked and torn and some completely demolished. While she continues to walk through the area on her own, the Necromutant, Bck Death, is right behind her, keeping herself in stealth.

  Just the moment of opportunity I need to spend time with the girl of my dreams. Bck Death thought. I just need to lure her to my trap, and she'll be mine for the taking! I just got to time it right.

  The Necromutant continues to follow Rei without detection. Rei looks behind to see if there was anyone following her. There was no one in her sight.

  Hmm? I thought I sensed someone following me. Rei thought. I...just need to be careful...

  Rei decides to head to another building, which is a temple, and walks inside. The Bck Death saw her enter inside and quietly goes over to the pce where Rei went inside.

  Rei looks around the temple and she sees that it's a mess. The chairs and tables are destroyed, followed by bookshelves that are torn and ripped up. Rei looks around to see if there is anything valuable and there, she sees a staircase that leads down to a basement. She goes downstairs with the torch in hand.

  Rei explores the basement and there was barely anything downstairs. There, she sees something that catches her attention. There appears to be a treasure box at the center. Rei walks up to see the treasure box and the box appears to be futuristic. The surroundings of the box is crystal clear and there lies a weapon inside the box. Rei tries to open the box but it appears to be sealed. Rei then steps away from the box as there was nothing else to do.

  Never seen such a tight treasure box... Rei thought. What is this thing?

  Just then, the torch in her hand goes out. Rei is now trapped in the darkness as she cannot see her way out of the basement. She gets lost as she tries to find the stairs. Suddenly, Rei felt a slight sting on her neck and stops for a moment. Feeling the foreign object on her neck, Rei takes it out and she can feel that it was a tranquilizer dark being aimed at her. Discarding the tranquilizer, Rei tries to find her way out and then she felt the stairs nearby. As she goes up the stairs, the tiredness kicks in instantly and Rei tries to make it to the door. She goes down and falls asleep.

  Coming up from the steps, the Necromutant, Bck Death, walks up to see that Rei has been put to sleep. Smiling, she goes down and checks on her to make sure that her trap has worked.

  "Sleep peacefully my darling." Bck Death whispered to her.

  The Necromutant feels proud as she rubs her hands together. She smiles as she stares down at the sleeping Rei, knowing that she has pns ahead.

  Later, Shokei and Mizuki are heading to the central square of Thygya. From there, they meet up with Beatrice and Tamiko.

  "Shokei!" Beatrice calls out to her.

  "There you are." Tamiko said.

  "Hi guys." Shokei said out to them.

  "Huh? Who's that with you?" Beatrice asked.

  "I found the chemist." Shokei said to her party. "This is Mizuki."

  "Wow, seriously?" Tamiko asked. "You found her already? Where?"

  "I was sleeping inside one of the temples." Mizuki replies to Shokei's party. "Your friend here has found me."

  "I see." Beatrice said.

  "Oh yeah, I'm Tamiko." Tamiko introduces herself. "Right next to me is Beatrice."

  "Nice to meet you two." Mizuki said with a bow.

  "Anyways, Shokei, have you seen Marie and Rei anywhere?" Tamiko asked.

  "No." Shokei replied. "I have no clue where they have gone off to."

  "Same." Beatrice said. "Neither of us have any idea where they could be."

  "Speaking of that, I am in search for the medicine, called the Navelc." Mizuki tells them. "Finding the medicine is located in one of the temples here in Thygya."

  "Navelc?" Beatrice said and asked. "What's a Navelc?"

  "I have told your friend Shokei about this medicine." Mizuki tells her. "As of now, I am in need of help to find this medicine. Since Shokei has found me, I was hoping that you two would be much of help to find me that medicine."

  "Certainly." Beatrice said. "But can you inform us about this medicine for us?"

  "I will inform you guys on this medicine." Shokei said. "I'll tell you guys what you need to know about it during the search."

  "Got it." Tamiko said.

  "Come. We need to look for another temple to find what we are looking for." Mizuki said to them.

  Marie is looking around to find her party members. She was not able to find Rei as she was nowhere to be seen. Soon, she finds Obsidian walking around in the ruined streets and goes up to meet him.

  "Obsidian! There you are!" Marie calls out to him.

  "Huh? Oh, it's you little one." Obsidian said, seeing her coming up to him.

  "I'm gd I found you." Marie said and asked. "Did you meet up with Shokei and the others?"

  "I have not." Obsidian replied. Then, notices something is off. "Say, how come Rei is not with you?"

  "I...I went off on my own when I could not wait for her." Marie said, recalling in detail. "She wanted to explore more big buildings, but I was too afraid of how dark it is. I decided to wander off on my own and then when I came back, I called out to her, and she never returned. My guess is that she went off to explore on her own...but I knew that going off by herself would be a bad thing."

  "But why she would do that?" Obsidian asked. "It's too dangerous for her to go alone. And you should have been with her."

  "I know..." Marie said sadly. "I hope nothing bad happens to her."

  "It's not for her to go solo." Obsidian said. "You should have stick with her just in case."

  "Why must she be selfish like that?" Marie asked in a compint. "What does she think she is, the Solomeister?"

  "We should search out to find her." Obsidian said. "That way, we can look for her together."

  "Oh thanks!" Marie nodded. "Remind me to kick Rei for ditching me."

  Marie and Obsidian notices that the rest of Shokei's party members are meeting up back with the group.

  "Hey!" Kichiro waved and asked. "What's going on?"

  "Nothing much." Obsidian replied.

  "Have you guys found anything?" Ferron asked.

  "That reminds me!" Marie recalls and takes out the scroll that she has found. "I was looking around in one of the temples and then I came across this."

  "What is that?" Naoko asked.

  "What's written in that scroll?" Sadako asked.

  "It's strange but hey, I'll show it to you all." Marie said.

  Marie takes out the scroll and unravels it. Everyone looks at the scroll, with the foreign symbols that is embedded in it.

  "Strange..." Naoko stares at the scroll. "I...don't think I can understand that..."

  "Neither can I." Saeko said. "What is this message is saying?"

  "Hmm, don't think I can get some sense by these encrypted symbols." Kichiro said.

  "It could mean that there is something legendary I think." Marie said. "I still want to hang on to this until further notice."

  "Hey, where's Rei?" Naoko asked, taking note on who is missing. "She has not come back to us yet."

  "Ummm, about her..." Marie said with a pout. "I'll never forgive her for ditching me!!"

  "Rei left the little one alone and decided to explore this area alone." Obsidian said.

  "What?! Why would she do that?" Naoko asked.

  "We were just about to head off to find her until you guys came." Marie said.

  "Hmm, if that's the case, then you should search for Rei." Kichiro said. "I'll hold on to that scroll of yours."

  "Really? Thanks!" Marie said, passing the scroll to him.

  "We should search for Rei to see if she's all right." Obsidian tells Marie.

  "Then we should look for the others." Kichiro said. "I'm not sure if they have found the chemist or not."

  "Ok." Naoko said. "We'll see you two ter."

  "Yes." Marie nodded.

  The party went their ways. Obsidian and Marie heads off to find Rei whereas Kichiro, Ferron, Naoko, Saeko, and Sadako are walking off to another direction.

  During that time, Shokei and her party are continuing their search for the rare medicine, the Navelc. After searching through eight temples, they still have no luck in finding the medicine as they had checked the treasure boxes that were in those temples and all they found was nothing inside. The party continues onward to the next temple.

  Inside the temple looks much different. Inside, this temple is a sanctuary that has an altar. The party looks around to inspect the area. Shokei looks around the altar. Behind the altar, there appears to be something missing in the center as there are parts of a statue scattered in the room. In addition, there are two treasure boxes that are at the corners on both sides. Mizuki looks through the treasure boxes to see what's inside of them. In one of the treasure boxes, she finds a note that is inside.

  "Huh? What's this?" Mizuki asked.

  "What did you find Mizuki?" Beatrice asked her.

  "A note." Mizuki tells her.

  "What does the note say?" Shokei asked.

  "It says to look for small objects...that's all it said here." Mizuki said, reading the note.

  "That's odd...but what does it mean?" Tamiko asked.

  Shokei thinks about this and takes note of the small objects that are scattered on the floor.

  "For some reason, these objects here must be parts of a statue." Shokei said.

  "It doesn't look crumpled or anything, but looking at the head of the statue, it looks like the face of a monkey." Beatrice said, picking up the head part of the monkey.

  "There are connected pieces for the statue, but where can we assemble it?" Beatrice asked.

  Shokei looks back at the altar and she takes note of the podium. She checks the podium, and she sees that there is a slot for it.

  "Perhaps we may be close to what we are looking for." Shokei said. "Let's gather the parts here and assemble them altogether."

  Shokei's party picks up the parts of the monkey statue and then with the parts, they assemble them together at the podium, fitting the pieces in the right pces. Once the parts have been assembled, a sound was heard, and it came from the altar.

  "I think I heard something." Beatrice said.

  "It sounds like a secret door that opened up." Tamiko said.

  "Hmm what's that?" Shokei pointed out.

  The party goes over to the altar. There, they have discovered a secret cabinet that was embedded in the altar. Mizuki opens the cabinet and from there, her eyes lit up as soon as she has finally found what she was looking for. She takes out a gss bottle, filled with pills inside.

  "Eureka!" Mizuki said with a smile. "This is it! The Navelc!"

  Shokei and her party looks at the rare item Mizuki holds in her hands. The Navelc is sealed in a jar that contains the pills that are all in reddish color.

  "So that's what it is." Tamiko said.

  "Hmm, looks ancient...and fresh." Beatrice said.

  "Mizuki is right." Shokei said. "The pills inside are not old as we think."

  "Thanks to you and your friends, I have found what I was looking for." Mizuki said happily.

  "Looks like we're done here." Shokei said. "We should find the others and then we can all get out of here."

  "Right." Beatrice and Tamiko said.

  Successfully finding the Navelc, the party leaves the temple.

  Shokei and her group are heading back to find the rest of her party members. While they are heading back, Bck Death watches from above a broken obelisk. The Necromutant sees Shokei going off to another direction and sees an opportunity to attack.

  "Showtime..." The Necromutant said with a smile.

  Shokei continues to look out for her party members. Soon, she found the rest of her party coming back altogether. However, she notices that three of her members are missing.

  "Shokei!" Kichiro calls out to her.

  "Hey! I'm gd to see you." Shokei said, waving back.

  "Is that...the missing chemist?" Sadako asked, seeing her the first time.

  "Yes." Shokei replied. "I found the chemist sleeping in a temple."

  "Are you sure?" Sadako asked. "Or its some random person?"

  "No, young one." Mizuki tells her. "I am the chemist that was finding a particur medicine."

  "Did you already find it?" Saeko asked.

  "I did." Mizuki reveals the Navelc. "I have proof of what I was finding right here."

  "Woah, its all-red inside." Sadako said, seeing the pills in the gss bottle.

  "We got what we needed...but I noticed that not everyone has returned." Shokei said.

  "Rei went missing from us." Kichiro said to her. "Obsidian and Marie are out there, looking for her."

  "Seriously?" Shokei asked. "Don't tell me she went off to explore around for herself."

  "Marie did mention that to us." Ferron said.

  "But what was she thinking?" Shokei asked. "Why go off alone and not leave a fellow member behind?"

  "That's what I was thinking." Naoko said.

  "If that's the case, we should all look for Rei." Shokei said. "We won't leave until we see if she's alive out there...I hope."

  "That won't be necessary!" A voice calls out to the party.

  "Huh?!" Shokei turns her head and hears a voice.

  The party turns their attention to see a Necromutant making an appearance in the skies.

  "Hah!" Bck Death calls out to Shokei. "Found you!"

  "What?" Shokei said, seeing the Necromutant in her presence. "You..."

  "That's right! I, Bck Death, managed to track you down and I will get rid of you, Emissary!" The Necromutant said, pointing out to Shokei.

  "What do you want?!" Shokei calls out to her.

  "Hmm? Not everyone is here...hmm, hmm, hmm..." Bck Death said, teasing. "Apparently, three of your members is in mia. Where have they gone off to? Where did they go?"

  "Enough talk?!" Shokei said and asked. "What the hell do you want?!"

  "I hear that you are missing your dear friend Rei." The Necromutant said and asked. "Is that right?"

  "What happened to her?" Shokei angrily asked. "I bet you are responsible for dealing with her, did you?"

  "Oh right! Your dear friend Rei, am I correct?" Bck Death asked. "I would say that...she is engaged at the moment."

  "Huh?!" Naoko said with a confusing look.

  "Engaged?" Shokei blinked in confusion. "Wh-what do you mean?!"

  "None of your beeswax, Emissary!" The Necromutant tells her. "I have my reasons for that ally of yours, but right now, here's the moment where you and your allies will have their grave right here!"

  Bck Death takes out a card with a simir on it. Just how she did the st time, she threw the card into the air and the card centers in front of her. Then, Bck Death is all set to cast out her demonic summon.

  "Again?" Ferron asked, getting his gss sword ready.

  "Prepare yourselves everyone." Shokei tells her party.

  "Spirits of the Dark Dreams Gaxy, bring forth my demon that will crush my foes!" Bck Death chant out. "I summon you, Asmoday!"

  Once the card is summoned, the card then transforms into a demon. Asmoday emerges from the card and forms into a demon-sized monster. The party looks up to see that this monster is huge in size and has three heads, consists of a bull, a man's face, and a ram. The demon has a serpent's tail and has feet are webbed like a goose. Asmoday sits on an Infernal Dragon and the demon holds a nce in its hand with a banner. The man's face breaths fire, burning out of its mouth.

  "Shit!" Shokei said, fearing the demon's appearance.

  "My newest creation will be just enough to get rid of you and your little friends." Bck Death tells them. "You puny insects won't stand a chance by its power."

  The party gets themselves ready to fight Asmoday.

  "Go forth and wipe out these insects!" Bck Death commanded.

  Bck Death then vanishes as she leaves the scene. The party looks at Asmoday, seeing the demon in front of them.

  "This is not good." Mizuki said. "I never have seen such a vile demon like this."

  "She pulled out the shots on this one." Ferron said.

  Suddenly, Asmoday made its initial strike as the face of the man breathes fire down on the party.

  "Run!!" Shokei shouts out to her party.

  Shokei and her party run for cover as they quickly get away from the fmes that were being aimed directly at them. The fires spread out once it touched the ground.
