The sun is setting as evening time approaches. Shokei and her party is traveling on the ship that will bring them to Euna. The party is looking around outdoors as they can see the ship sailing off into the night.
"Hey, what's that?" Naoko pointed out.
"It appears to be some light from the ship dock over there." Marie said.
"Does that mean we're close to Euna?" Naoko asked.
"Seems like it." Shokei said.
The party can see that they are almost there as the ship is about to reach its destination. The ride from Egesul to where they are heading to now had taken them the entire day as they finally see that they are about to reach nd.
"Say, where is this ship stopping at?" Shokei asked a crew member.
"This ship is reaching the docks of Britatona." He tells her.
Shokei looks to see that the ship is nearly reaching the shore. The ship makes its nding on the ship docks of Britatona. Everyone disembarks off the ship as they reach nd. By the time they have reached, the environment is dark at the hour as it is now evening time. The party looks around as they are viewing the area.
This pce... Shokei thought. There's something off about this pce. If feels like I am recalling past memories around here...but...
Wait a minute...I recalled this pce a long time when Shokei and I came here. But why do I feel a past life is haunting us back? Rei thought.
Shokei looks around to see that Britatona is just a trade bor area. There is no sign of inn's or anypce to where she and her party can rest up.
"Aren't there people around here?" Marie asked. "This pce looks industrial for bor."
"This is really strange...how come there's hardly anyone around here?" Saeko asked.
"I was wondering the same thing too." Tamiko said.
"Maybe this is just the dock area." Shokei said. "Then again, we'll have to walk further if we're going to get to Britatona."
Shokei looks at one of the crew members that is securing the ship in pce with a tight rope.
"Sorry sir." Shokei calls out to the man and asked. "How far do we need to get to the town of Britatona?"
"I think it takes miles ahead to get there." The crew member replied. "If you keep going straight, you can't miss it."
"Ok, thanks." Shokei said and she turned away.
"Hold up now!" The crew member quickly said to her.
"What?" Shokei asked.
"Are you seriously thinking about staying for a night at that town?" The crew member asked her.
"Why?" Shokei asked with a concerned look. "What's the problem?"
"I have to warn you. If you're pnning to go there, you better proceed with caution." The crew member advised.
"What do you mean?" Shokei asked.
"I've been noticing that the town itself is becoming haunted and strange." The crew member tells her. "Britatona is under a curse. I have no clue on what the situation is happening in the town, but I have to tell you that something odd happened since the st time I remember coming back here."
The party looks at each other as they are unaware of the situation that is being mentioned by the crew member.
"Since you put it that way, is it possible for us to stay on your ship?" Shokei asked him.
"Unfortunately, I can't do that." The crew member said. "Just in case you are wondering, the captain has pns to leave this area very shortly. We cannot remain here for long."
"Oh..." Shokei said in disappointment.
"I know, but hey, Captain's orders." The crew member said.
"It's ok." Shokei said. "We'll just have to find some rest in the woods then."
Shokei returns to see her party members waiting for her.
"The town of Britatona is under a curse?" Rei asked. "Are you sure that he's not making it up?"
"Looking at his face, he does seem serious about it." Shokei said.
"Perhaps we should camp out in the forest for the night." Obsidian said. "That way, we can head for the town tomorrow morning."
"Yeah..." Shokei nodded. "Let's find a spot where we can camp out for the night."
The party leaves the ship docks and walk into the woods. They traveled further into the woods until they are surrounded by trees. The party made the decision to camp out in the wilderness as the space is wide enough for the party to rest up. From there, the party fell asleep.
In the middle of the night, Shokei wakes up from her sleep. She can feel the light breeze touching her as she ys there on the soft soil ground. She gets up from the ground and takes her time to stretch out for a bit. Shokei looks to see that it is still dark outside, and she looks to see that her party members are still resting in their spots. The campfire still burns as it is keeping the party to stay warm. Shokei decided to leave her party for a while and takes a walk where there is an opening field. The bright moon shines around the area and as Shokei reaches out to the field, she can take a view of the wilderness.
Euna...it's such a beautiful view out here...it's been a long time since I remember being out here in this area...
Shokei continues to view the area. Then, she felt a deep sense as she traces brake on someone that was on her mind.
Antoinette...never would I forget about you. I am curious where you are right now. I don't know what my enemies are doing to you since you have been captured. I just want you to know if you're ok; just as long as the Necromutants do not try to harm you in any way.
Shokei looks up in the night skies as the stars are shining brightly, knowing that the Princess is out there.
I will save you Antoinette...No matter what it takes...no matter how much strength that I have within me, I will come to your rescue. I can promise you that.
From staring out in the wilderness for fresh air, Shokei gets up and she heads back to where her friends are sleeping. On the way back, Shokei sees something on the ground. From the looks of it, she can see that it is a children's literature book. The type of book appears to be a fantasy novel. The book's front cover appears to have an image of a castle and there are trees in between. The scenery of the picture appears to be dark as the grey clouds are formed above to where the castle is.
"That's odd..." Shokei said to herself. "Woodnd of Dreams? Looks like someone has lost this book in this forest."
"That's because I'm the one who owns the book, Emissary!" A voice called out to her.
Shokei became red alert as soon as she hears someone talking down to her. She turns around to see that there is someone floating up in the skies.
"Finally! I have you right where I want you to be, Emissary!" Hauntmystic said to her.
Before Shokei could react, the Necromutant used her spell against Shokei. Shokei is caught in a strange force that Hauntmysitc trapped her in. The book starts flipping pages. Hauntmystic adds more pressure with her powers and Shokei is being transitioned right into the book.
"Woahhhh!!!" Shokei cried out as she was being sucked in.
Hauntmysitc stops to see that the book falls back to the ground. Then, the enemy goes over to pick the book up. With her success on capturing Shokei, Hauntmystic takes the book in her hand and then she teleported to where Shokei's allies are resting. She pces the book nearby so that one of Shokei's party members can see it.
"Heheheh...let's see how well you can get yourself out of this one Emissary." Hauntmystic smiled evilly.
Risako leaves the area as she vanished.
