Chapter 15: Super Hurricane Sphere Barrage, Uchiha Cn Annihition

  The second-year curriculum wasn't vastly different from the first year's. The academic subjects remained the same, just with increased difficulty. The afternoon physical training sessions were removed; students who hadn't been advised to withdraw by now had clearly all extracted chakra. As long as they followed the prescribed steps and endured the six years, they would either become Genin acknowledged by a Jonin instructor and specially cultivated by the vilge, or become fresh recruits for other departments. The chance of wasting six years only to revert to being an ordinary civilian was extremely low.

  The focus for the next five years would shift towards teaching intelligence gathering and assassination skills. These lessons posed no difficulty for Izayoi; in fact, he found them boring. After attending for just a few days, he couldn't help but abandon his earlier intention and once again sent a Shadow Clone to attend csses in his stead. His main body, meanwhile, stayed at home to train.

  Although he couldn't practice Five Element Release techniques at home, he could attempt to develop ninjutsu. While developing ninjutsu typically requires a strong foundation in nature transformation or shape transformation, Izayoi, as a transmigrator, knew of one technique that didn't need such prerequisites – only a sufficient amount of chakra. That technique was the Rasengan, inspired by the Tailed Beast Ball, developed by the Fourth Hokage over several years, A-rank in learning difficulty, non-elemental, and requiring no hand seals.

  As Naruto Uzumaki's signature move used from childhood onwards, developed into various series of techniques, the Rasengan was also the only jutsu in the original story whose entire multi-stage training method was explicitly shown. The memory of that training arc was simply too profound. Anyone who enjoyed watching Naruto couldn't possibly forget the method, and Izayoi was no exception.

  However, Izayoi wasn't learning the Rasengan to use it as a trump card, but rather, as mentioned earlier – to attempt to develop ninjutsu. The Rasengan was a seal-less technique developed by the Fourth Hokage and held special significance in Konoha. Besides the Fourth Hokage, the only others known to master it were his teacher and his student. If Izayoi suddenly used this technique in the future, it would definitely attract the attention of Konoha's higher-ups. Without a reasonable expnation, it could lead to various suspicions, which wasn't what Izayoi wanted.

  Therefore, he wanted to use the Rasengan as a foundation to develop another seal-less ninjutsu: the Super Hurricane Sphere Barrage.

  The Super Hurricane Sphere Barrage, potentially also known as Multiple Great Ball Swift Wind Pills, was the technique Ashura ōtsutsuki used against Indra ōtsutsuki in the anime filler. That technique resembled Naruto's Pnetary Rasengan. The principle involved first creating a rge energy sphere, almost the size of a Great Ball Rasengan, and then adding five smaller, spinning energy spheres, each the size of a standard Rasengan, inside it.

  This technique, much like the Rasenshuriken, could be thrown or unched. Upon detonation, it resulted in a six-hit explosion. If the outer sphere was destroyed prematurely, the five inner spheres would scatter and attack the enemy individually. Moreover, simir to how Naruto infused his Rasengan variants with different elemental natures, this technique could also potentially be infused with the five basic elements, or even combine all five, akin to the Third Hokage's Five Element Release: Great Combo Bst Technique. At that point, its power would be devastatingly immense.

  If not for his ōtsutsuki Bloodline (Red) and All-Affinity Constitution (Purple) traits, Izayoi would never dare to entertain such an idea; simply learning the Rasengan would have been satisfying enough. But the seal-less casting talent granted by the Red ōtsutsuki Bloodline, combined with the Purple All-Affinity Constitution and his upgraded Purple-rank Chakra Control, gave Izayoi the necessary foundation to potentially turn this anime-original technique into reality.

  Leveraging his powerful chakra control, Izayoi mastered the basic Rasengan in just one week. The next step was to continue infusing chakra, increasing the Rasengan's volume to the size of a basketball without letting the energy sphere destabilize, after which he could attempt to condense the smaller energy spheres within it.

  However, this stage of practice couldn't be done at home. If the energy sphere exploded, the consequences were unimaginable. Thus, he began to patiently wait for the arrival of the Uchiha Cn's destruction.

  When the date reached May 15th, Izayoi finally knew the day had come.

  Afternoon csses usually consisted of only two or three periods. Survival exercises, meant to test the students' growth over the preceding weeks, occurred only once every few weeks. Even under such special circumstances, the school would typically let out around 5 PM. But on this particur day, the students of Second Year, Css 1, uncharacteristically had four afternoon csses. The final survival exercise didn't conclude until dusk descended.

  The Uchiha Cn compound was located near the Naka River, practically in the outskirts. Without using the Body Flicker Technique for travel, by the time Sasuke Uchiha reached the compound, night had long fallen. By then, a round moon had appeared in the sky, tinged blood-red by the lingering sunset glow.

  Izayoi's Shadow Clone gnced at the back of Sasuke Uchiha as he exited the school gates and began running home. He knew that after tonight, the Sasuke who wasn't particurly aloof and didn't care much about grades – often nicknamed "Erzhuzi" – would disappear completely. In his pce, a Sasuke radiating an icy aura, obsessed with achievements and family honor, easily provoked by verbal stimuli and emotionally fragile, would appear before Izayoi.

  Although the tter's fate was tragic, Izayoi still eagerly anticipated that moment's arrival. After all, he had been waiting for a full year.

  The following day, news shook Konoha and rapidly spread outwards. Transmitted via spies, it soon permeated the entire shinobi world.

  The Uchiha Cn – Konoha's number one prestigious cn after the decline of the Senju, arguably the number one ninja cn in the world, whose Bloodline Limit, the Sharingan, was famed as the "invincible one-on-one eye," the "copy eye," and the "illusion eye" – had been annihited. The perpetrator who wiped out this family wasn't their equally famous rivals, the Hyūga Cn, nor Konoha's leadership or another hidden vilge, but the eldest son of the Uchiha Cn's current head, the mere 13-year-old Itachi Uchiha.

  In the days that followed, the name Itachi Uchiha rapidly spread throughout the shinobi world, marking him as Konoha's, and indeed the world's, youngest S-rank missing-nin.

  The moment Izayoi stepped out of his house that day, he saw vilgers discussing the incident. It was a major event, its impact no less than the Nine-Tails Rampage in Konoha Year 48. In just a few short years, Konoha had lost the Fourth Hokage and his wife, numerous other powerful ninjas, and now its foremost prestigious ninja cn. Konoha had undoubtedly entered its weakest period since the vilge's founding.

  Once the strongest hidden vilge, boasting more Kage-level shinobi than could be counted on one hand and capable of winning even when outnumbered four to one, Konoha now seemingly only had the aging Third Hokage remaining as a Kage-level powerhouse. After the Nine-Tails Rampage, Konoha had attracted the covetous attention and schemes of Kumogakure. Now, having lost its top cn, logically, it should have become a target for even more external enemies.

  Yet, strangely, Konoha remained retively peaceful in the following years. Clearly, the major hidden vilges had sensed something suspicious about the circumstances surrounding the Uchiha Massacre.
