Far across the world, in the tumultuous Pacific, a fierce battle raged. Poseidon, the Greek sea god, and Susanoo, the Japanese storm god, clashed with relentless fury. Waves surged, lightning crackled, and thunder roared as their elemental powers collided.
Poseidon, trident in hand, summoned towering waves to crash upon his adversary. "You dare challenge the lord of the seas?" he bellowed, his voice echoing over the tempestuous ocean.
Susanoo, gripping his Totsuka-no-Tsurugi, unleashed a tempest of lightning and howling wind. 'Your dominion over these waters ends today, Poseidon!' he roared, his eyes blazing with unrelenting fury.
The battle reached its zenith, the very elements bending to their wills. It was at this moment, when their powers were at their peak, that the trickster gods intervened, deploying their… aerially challenged plan.
From the heavens, four colossal helicopters descended, each bearing the unmistakable mark of trickster magic—specifically, hastily applied stickers that were already peeling off. Massive nets, woven with enchanted chains, dropped from the sky, ensnaring Poseidon and Susanoo mid-battle. Despite their formidable strength, the gods found themselves trapped, their powers temporarily nullified by the enchanted chains.
"What manner of treachery is this?" Poseidon thundered, struggling against the unyielding chains.
"Release me at once!" Susanoo demanded, his voice filled with righteous outrage.
Their protests were, unfortunately for them, drowned out by the increasingly alarming sounds of the helicopters struggling to maintain balance. The net, with its divine cargo, swayed precariously. One helicopter, its rotors sputtering as one of the enchanted hamsters powering the helicopter tripped on the treadmill, nearly clipped Susanoo's head, causing him to unleash a stream of shocked curses.
"Are these… mechanical birds even capable of flight?" Poseidon grumbled, watching as one helicopter spun wildly, threatening to tangle its rotors with another.
The helicopters, after a series of near-catastrophic wobbles and a collective groan from their engines, finally managed to stabilize. The giant cage, now swaying like a drunken pendulum, was lifted into the air. One of the helicopters, trailing smoke, limped along, barely keeping pace with the others as they began their journey to the Prairie of Forgotten Dreams.

Back at the Prairie, Nezha and Bacchus, having received word of the impending arrival, turned to the audience with eager anticipation.
"Ladies and gentlemen, gods and goddesses, prepare yourselves for a truly spectacular sight!" Nezha announced, his voice ringing with youthful excitement.
"Indeed, Nezha!" Bacchus added, raising his goblet high. "Prepare to witness the arrival of two of the mightiest gods in all mythology… and their slightly bumpy ride!"
The audience turned their attention to the sky, their excitement palpable. The sound of helicopter rotors grew louder, and soon, the giant cage, still swaying slightly, came into view, suspended beneath the four helicopters. The crowd gasped in awe and curiosity, their eyes widening as they recognized the captives.
"Is that... Poseidon?" a voice whispered, filled with disbelief.
"And Susanoo?" another voice murmured, astonishment etched in their tone. "And why are they swinging like laundry?"
As the helicopters, with a final, shuddering descent, gently lowered the cage onto the ground. At this time, the hamsters powering the badly overloaded helicopter finally collapsed from exhaustion. The helicopter crashed onto the cage with a loud boom! When the smoke cleared, Poseidon and Susanoo were seen coughing and sputtering but totally unharmed. The divine spectators erupted into a cacophony of cheers, laughter, and shocked exclamations.
Helen of Troy and Lilith both leaned forward with keen interest. Lilith even looked amused! The giants, dwarfs, and elves couldn’t help themselves and craned their necks attempting for a better view. Someone was heard commenting, “What an entrance!” Promoting a quick glare from Poseidon. Even the chief gods, maintaining their composed facades, couldn't conceal their curiosity and a few stifled chuckles.
Poseidon and Susanoo, now covered in soot, seething with anger, and suffering from a slight touch of seasickness, glared at their captors. Loki, Hermes, Coyote, and Sun Wukong appeared before the broken cage, their expressions a blend of amusement and satisfaction.
"Welcome, mighty Poseidon and Susanoo," Hermes said, his voice dripping with mock politeness. "You have been specially selected to participate in a grand event."
"Your skills and powers will undoubtedly elevate this race to new heights of excitement," Loki added, a wicked grin spreading across his face. "Though, I must say, the journey here was rather… unconventional."
Poseidon and Susanoo exchanged incredulous glances, their fury momentarily overshadowed by bewilderment and a lingering sense of nausea.
"A race?" Poseidon growled, his grip tightening on his trident. "After that aerial circus?"
"Yep! Yep! Yep!" Sun Wukong replied, his eyes twinkling with mischievous delight. "And your presence will surely add to the…” here, he did a quick somersault before continuing, “entertainment."
As the crowd continued to react to the dramatic and hilariously clumsy arrival, the trickster gods knew they had successfully set the stage for an unforgettable spectacle. The Prairie of Forgotten Dreams buzzed with anticipation, the divine audience eagerly awaiting the next twist in this extraordinary event.
