The trip back to the castle was pleasant yet uneventful. Therefore, the activity that we returned to was a bit of a surprise. We were aloud entrance with a deep bow and a 'We are so glad that you have returned Lady Sin!' From one of the guardsmen on duty. That alone had Kieran and I exchange worried looks as he passed on the reigns to my horses and the carriage to a groomsman.
We wasted no time heading to Felicity, noting the men hurrying to and frow as we did. Clearly something was up, and what ever it was appeared to be trouble. We saw guards dashing about carrying weapons and armor, all of them looking stalwart and determined in their tasks.
Kieran and I exchanged a look of concern before picking up the pace with getting my horses situated with a groom. Something big was up and I wanted to be sure Felicity was alright.
"They smell of anxiety, but I can't detect any fear or grief from them." Noted Rougier, his scales rough on my neck.
"You can smell emotions?" I asked with a raised eyebrow, struggling a little to keep paces with Kieran's longer stride.
"Sometimes, if they are strong." Said the dragon, eyeing the men as we entered the castle and hurried for the greeting room where the young Queen could usually be found when not attending her studies. "Many a creature can you know?" Now he eyed my as if he felt bad for me. "It is mostly just the two footed ones whose noses are so bad."
My only response was a rolling of my eyes, too anxious myself to have fun bantering with the cantankerous old lizard. Besides, as far as I knew, he was mostly correct.
"Sin!" Gasped a haggard looking Felicity, side stepping Garris and several other lower ranking butlers to hurried forward and give me a swift hug. "Thank goodness you are back!"
This room, like much of the others in the castle, was in a state of controlled chaos. Butlers and servants were rushing in and out to talk with Garris or to collect the many crates I now saw stacked along the back window. Provisions by the look of it, as I had seen similar creates in the kitchens.
"What is going on?" I asked, pushing the young girl back off me a little while eyeing the mess the once orderly room was in.
"We received some disheartening news late last night." Said the Queen, gripping her skirts worriedly.
"What news?" I asked as Kieran took his place to my right and just behind me. Rougier looked like he was calm on my shoulder, but I could feel the bunching and jittering of his muscles.
"A messenger was sent from Fausta, via Deadrin." Spoke up Garris, handing a sheet of parchment to a younger butler who hurried off with a small bow. The older male stepped up, taking a similar stance to Kieran at Felicity's side. "It was urgent and quite distressing."
"The moons? Wait, Deadrin... I though no one was aloud to be on that moon without the express permission of the Queens?" I asked, now confused as well as worried.
Garris nodded and he and Felicity shared a look. "There is one Queen who calls the moon her home. Lady Ooma."
"She is said to be the single oldest Queen still living." Said Felicity. "She received the blessing of the gods themselves to live on Deadrin, and she is a bit of a hermit. I have never met her myself, and I do not think my mother had either."
"She is one of the very old queens who have let their bloodlines fade away and employ but a few Reihan to aid them in their seclusion." Explained Garris. "But Lady Ooma is a very famous and highly respected queen, even if she is not as well known by some of the younger generations."
Some of the younger generations? Given the life spans of demons, much less the queens who tend to live much longer still, that could mean anyone three thousand years or younger. It was unimaginable, what this Ooma's age may be.
"Okay." I said, still lost. "And what did her message say?"
"Lady Ooma's bloodline ability is that of precognition. It is not a gift that is easy to live with and some believe that the desire not to burden her young with it any longer is what pushed her into not having any more children. She does not share what she sees often, but when she does we all listen."
Well, that would be the kind of epic power that may make a girl want to hide herself away on a moon. Surly she was constantly being harassed to tell people their futures and the like. Not that I knew how her gift worked at all. Still, this all sounded very serious.
"She sent word that the Realm was in grave an immediate danger." Garris continued somberly. "According to her there is some kind of threat emerging past the mountains to the north."
"The mountains to the north?" I asked, a sinking feeling weighing down in my gut. Maybe I was a little precognitive as well as if felt very foreshadow like right now. "You mean the wastelands? My lands?"
Felicity nodded, looking pale and nervous. "The area of the Eternal Lake, most specifically. It was the epicenter of the corruption of the area and now it seems that it is destined to be the center of worse things to come."
"Well, what kind of enemy are we talking about here? Was this Ooma able to be a little more accurate with her predictions?"
"From what I understand, most of her visions are quite vague, especially if they are farther into the future. It is why she was only able to be so sure now because it is something that is happening in the very near future. She was able to give us, but a few hours notice..."
"Demon kind only has one true enemy and that is the forces of the Anti-Mana Realm and the denizen that spawn from it." Stated Garris. "From what we were told, it seems that Ooma believes that the corruption at the lake is being used to facilitate a great surge of the Anti-Mana creatures to eventually burst forth. And they are going to come in such number that we have not seen here before."
"Word was sent to all queendoms within reach of the lake, and we are all rushing to the location to put a stop to this horrendous mess. We can't allow them to run rampant across Demonia Sin."
Felicity looked pale and ill. I realized then that she was terrified and wrung dry. Clearly, she was doing all she could to funnel mana to her people, but they were not her line and therefore the transfer of mana was difficult for her. Not to mention wasteful. In the attempt to spread mana amongst those a queen is not genetically connected to, much of it is lost. Sort of like trying to stick toothpaste from one tube into another tube.
"You are not going, are you?" I asked worriedly. No doubt the other Queens could use as much help they could get but Felicity was still considered to be a child in the eyes of demon kind. Truth be told, judging on age alone, I too would be considered a child. But I was physically and emotionally older than the young Queen, even if she was only a little younger than me.
Felicity shook her head, but it was Garris who spoke. "The Queen will be staying here. It would be a great loss for demon kind if the worst should happen and Felicity met her end on the battlefield. As mature and dependable as she is, she is still but a child. We are not a race to send those not of breeding age into battle." He then trained those calm eyes on me. "And that brings us to you miss Sin. You are a bit of a quandary it would seem. I feel that we can not expect you to lend aid in this matter, but I would be a fool not to beg it of you all the same."
"I am unsure how much aid I can provide." I sighed, the tingling of fear now stirring in me as well. But with that fear also came determination. "But the eternal Lake is going to be my lands, and it is my responsibility to defend it. I have no bloodline and I have no talent for war and battle, but I do have a love for the people of this world and a sense of responsibility for them. I will go in your stead Felicity. There is one thing I am good at and that is spreading out the mana. I can do this for your people in this fight if nothing else. Please leave them in my care." I added with a bow to the terrified young girl. I was one of those once and if there was anything I could do to relive her of even just a little of that fear then I would do what I could.
Felicity's eyes widened and then filled with tears. 'Thank you Sin." She breathed, clasping my hands. Hers were shaking and so I squeezed them in return.
"Do not forget." Rumbled the dragon draped around my neck. "That you also have me. I am pretty sure that I am as strong as any demon army." He did not sound like he was bragging when he said that either. Just simply stating facts. 'I have fought these creatures before, and I will be eager to destroy them again."
"Then I thank you as well master Rougier." Smiled the young queen with watery eyes.
"The sentiment is appreciated, but the fact of the matter is that the battle could be won or lost well before we make it there master dragon." Sighed Garris, the slight slumping of his stature the only indication of his waning strength. "We are the farthest from the battle grounds among all those informed. And we have a mountain to climb as well. The fact of the matter is that if you and Queen Sin are to be a part of this fight then you must fly to them ahead of us and the army we are assembling."
"My father is correct Lady Sin." Agreed Kieran, nodding his head. "There is no way that a hundred of Felicity's soldiers can make it to the Eternal Lake in less than three days, and by the sound of it the battle may even be underway as we speak..."
"I think we still have a little time." Said Garris. "But not enough for our people to be any help in the initial conflict. But we hope to be there to lend aide if the fighting drags on. The fact of the matter is that demon kind was never a race with experience in war and the assembling of armies. Our numbers were always too small for that to be a viable way to solve disputes. Not that the whole sale slaughter of good men and women would ever be a viable way to settle anything... But the point is that our kind has never had experience in these matters like the other races under the care of the Gods. From what the missive made me believe, we may be facing a force that those of Hearth are used to taking on with the aid of their summoned heroes. It is not a battle that we were ever prepared for, and the outcome of this initial conflict could very well set the tone for the future of our race."
I could feel the weight of that statement settle in on my heart. From what I have learned of demons since being unceremoniously shoved into this world, Garris was right. They are not equipped for long drawn-out wars. The whole race would be wiped out. Nearly all conflicts here are resolved with the power of the Demon Queens, not the people themselves. If the queens fell here and now, then the citizens would be doomed. This conflict needed to be solved quickly and completely and I had no clue how to go about that.
"I will fly ahead." I spoke. I was anxious and afraid, but I was more worried for the consequences of loosing than the fight itself.
"I think you mean 'We'." Rumbled Kieran, sounding remarkably like Rougier for a second there.
I rolled my eyes and a smile tugged at the corner of my lips. "Yes, I meant we. You, me, Rougier and Shinra. I will leave the horses here. They won't be any help in the coming fight I think."
"We will keep them safe and comfortable." Said Felicity.
"Oh, there was also something else that Queen Ooma had sent with her messenger." Said Garris and he turned back to ward the packing crates where there was a small table. I watched with curiosity as he lifted a long, thin leather bag with a strap off the table as will as a rectangle of parchment that I saw was a note of some kind as he walked back toward us. "She also sent you these, with her greeting and well wishes. Apologizing for being unable to attend your gathering."
"Not that she ever attends them." Sighed Felicity as a reached out and took the items her butler held. Whatever was in the bag was light. So light that I thought it was empty till it bumped my leg and I felt something hard inside. "Nor has she ever sent a gift as far as I know of."
Eyeing the slender package that was nearly as tall as myself I decided that reading the letter was probably for the best, so I slipped the soft leather strap over my shoulder so that I could take the letter Garris held. It was almost heavier than the gift as it was made with the heavy parchment that was used here and sealed with a red wax, stamped with what looked like a stylized fox? I broke the seal and pulled out the single page that was nestled withing the envelope. Apparently, Queen Ooma was not a big writer.
Queen Sin 'Andra
My apologies, first and fore most for this rather rude form of greeting. It is not exactly traditional, but from what little I have heard of you in the last hour I feel that you, like myself, are not very traditional anyway. Though our circumstances are quite different I feel a slight kinship with you already. You may not know this, but before you, I was the only demon to ever dabble in the art of Taming. Once you get to be even a fraction of my age you tend to get bored, and Taming was a fitting endeavour of mine for several decades.
Still, when I contacted the other queens, and they told me of you I felt that I should send you something. Mind you, I have a feeling that you already possess something that went missing a short time ago: A certain grimoire that I felt compelled to write. It disappeared around when you claim to have been brought to the other Realm and so it is just a theory. If you do have it, then I hope that it is as useful as I imagined it would be in its conception. It is an irksome thing and despite having been written by me it never did like me much. I do hope it is much better behaved for you.
You might be reading a stolen copy. Visit Royal Road for the authentic version.
Now, on to more pressing things. No doubt you have been told of my warnings. I am sorry they are not very useful, but it is not really like they are visions as some seem to think. More like 'knowings' and strong feelings. I do know one thing though: you are an enigma. Not till now have you ever featured in any of my knowing's and even now it is a hazy and confusing feeling. I am sure this is due to your coming from your original world was something that fate had not planned on.
This may mean nothing, but it also may mean everything. I do not know if the others have already made this selfish request, but I will make it my self: Please, aid our people in this fight young Lady Sin 'Andra. Sin the Dragon Queen. I feel that your presence may very well mean the difference between a win or a loss in this battle. I am sorry for the pressure that places on you, but I am of the firm belief that it is the wisest thing in such extreme instances.
Weather you decided to aid our people or not I hope that you will still accept the gift I have sent with this letter. It is as rare and invaluable as the Grimoire, and I feel that you will find great use of it.
Lastly, I would like to extend an invitation. It is not one that you need to accept right away at all. I know that you wish to return to Hearth, and I am also very, very, sure you are needed there as well. But when the time is right, I ask that you come and visit me here on Deadrin. I feel that there is much I can teach you, both with your taming but also about what it is to be a demon- what it is to be a queen.
With warmest regards and prayers for your continued safety,
Ooma 'Kefta, Ooma Queen of Fates.
I refolded the thick parchment with the tiny handwriting and felt confused and a little intrigued. So, this was the woman who was the writer of my Grimoire, the one other Queen who became a tamer...
"What did she say?" Felicity asked, pulling me out of my thoughts.
I shook my head and sighed. "She asked that I help in the coming fight. She says that I am an enigma and that I may put a wrench in fate or some thing..." At least that what it sounded like she was trying to say. I had to admit that concepts of fate of possible futures always flew over my head and just confused me when ever I bothered to try and make sense of them.
"What is a wrench?"
I chuckled and shook my head again. "Nothing. A type of tool. It doesn't really matter. I have already decided to go so it is a mute point." I looked down at the letter in my hand. "She also says that I am invited to go and visit her at my own discretion... I guess it's a little comforting to know that a woman who can sense the future thinks there will be one where I am alive, and the world is safe so that I can pop in for a cup of tea." Mind you she may have just being polite. I didn't bother to say that out loud though as the sentiment would not improve Felicity's mood any.
'You have been invited to Deadrin by Lady Ooma herself?" Asked Garris, sounding amazed. This made me raise my head and look at the man as he rarely sounded anything but calm and dignified. I nodded. "That is a great honor Lady Sin. I am sure that you will benefit greatly from a visit to see one such as she."
I was sure I could learn a lot too. But her statement that I would be very much needed on Hearth did not bode well at all for my slightly less distant future, even if it did make me feel that I may at least walk away from this current fight with my life intact. Suddenly I was very worried for the friends I had left behind. Not that I should be surprised that they were in some kind of trouble, after all this whole reincarnation thing started because the world was in dire need of a bunch of superheroes after all. But suddenly the danger felt a great deal closer than it had before coming to Demonia.
"Did she say what it is that she sent you?" Felicity asked a question, again pulling me out of my silent musings.
I handed the letter to Kieran who tucked it into the breast pocket of his vest for safe keeping, then slid the strap off my shoulder. The leather was soft and pretty but it did not seem very ornate, nor did it feel magical in any way, so I was rather surprised when I unwound the string holding the lid shut that I felt a flash of magical energy.
"Um..." I said, hesitant to remove what maybe inside in case it was dangerous.
"I see no magic in the tube Milady." Sated Kieran sounding hesitant as I felt. "But I think that that is intentional. If it could suppress that magical energy than it must be magical in and of itself..."
"I do not think Lady Ooma would send you anything that would cause you harm." Garris said slowly. "Especially if she also sent you a note asking for your aid. Why bother if she meant you harm?"
That was true. I slowly stuck my hand into the leather tube and flinched when my fingers brushed a hard, smooth surface. I let out a breath when nothing bad happened then wrapped my fist around what felt like a vert smooth, unevenly shaped stick, and let the leather case drop, pulling the contents out. It was a little awkward as it was about four feet long.
"A stick?" Asked a confused Felicity, sounding a little offended on my behalf. It made me smile.
"A magical stick my queen." Breathed Garris, eyeing the wood with a hard stare that I associated with what Kieran looked like when he was using those ever-talented eyes of his to read a person or object.
I turned to my butler for confirmation as his eyes were even better than his fathers. Kieran nodded. "A very magical stick." He said with a kind of wonder. "It is a divine thing Lady Sin. My eyes tell me that it is called Rohime and that it is of the celestial element of magic. But that is all I can see. It is a divine object that defies even my sight I am afraid..."
"There is a note!" Chirped Felicity, bending down and picking up a sliver of paper that had likely flutter out of the case when I had yanked the stick out. Clearly this new mystery was doing wonders on distracting the young Queen from the current frightening circumstances as she looked a little livelier now. I took the small slip of parchment from her.
"This is Rohime, The Soul Keeper." I read out loud. "It, along with three other tools (Lahanna: The Summer Sleeper Staff, Castigal: The Wand of Forgetting, and Raha'fua: The Dawn Bringer Staff) were all made by me from a branch of the Eirini tree itself. They are about as divine as a magical tool can get without being forged by the gods themselves. My greatest works if truth be told. Well, them and the Grimoire which has parchment made from the branch as well.
Rohime is a celestial bow with the power to form arrows of pure mana. I am told you have an abundance of it and so though that it would do good work in your hands. So long as you keep a steady heart and focus on your target Rohime will never miss. Celestial and Void magic are the only truly effective magics against those of the anti mana realms." I finished with a note of wonder. Who the hell was this Ooma lady? She is a tamer and a magical enchanter. I know she said she got bored and 'dabbled' but what the heck!
I flipped the slip over and saw that the note had another little message on it. It was just one small sentence: Every hero needs a divine weapon.
It immediately clicked that I had heard of one of Ooma's other tools before. Lahanna, the Summer Sleeper Staff. It was the very magical staff that the heroes Markus and Kassidy needed from the dungeon we entered! What were the chances...? They did both appear to be made from the same ethereal wood-like material. Lahanna looked like a stick topped with tangled roots with a gemstone embedded in it. By comparison, Rohime look like an ocean smoothed stick of wood.
"This is a bow?" I asked after a few seconds of silence where the others were gazing at the thing in reverent wonder.
"A bow made from the Eirini Tree!" Exclaimed Kieran. "It is a gift beyond imagining my lady."
"Okay." I said taking his word for it. I was sure he would not lie about it and who was I to judge a magical tool after all. But it really did just look like a stick. A pretty stick that fairly hummed with mana, but a stick all the same. "And what is the Eirini Tree?"
He looked confused for a split second before he remembered that I had no clue about a lot of things he and the others took as common knowledge. "It is a huge tree said to cover the sky for nearly a league from the trunk in all directions with branches of white wood and leaves of gold. Its trunk is so large that there could easily be a village fitted within it! There are mountains smaller than this tree."
"It has lived on Deadrin for longer than dragons have flown the skies." Said Garris. "It is said that it sprouted from the massive mana stone of the gods themselves when they shed their mortal bodies and became the creatures we worship now. It is why only the queens are aloud on the moon. Its magic is vast and untameable. Lesser demons could easily loose their minds or die in its presence. The land, air and even the wildlife of the moon has been heavily affected by its influence."
"And this Ooma a just lives there?" I asked, astounded. "Would it not affect her too?"
"Perhaps." Said the butler with a nod. "But she is a very old and powerful Queen. And if she has the blessing of the gods to be there..." He let the sentence hang with a shrug. It was odd to see such an informal gesture from him and it reminded me of the heavy situation we were in that lead to his exhaustion.
"But how is this a bow?" I asked, holding the stick up straight, my hand at its middle. "There is no bow string. And it does not look flexible at all..." Almost jokingly I lifted my other hand as if to pull on the imaginary string. And suddenly I was holding a string! Well, more like a white, flame like string of light. I blinked in surprise and saw the stick change shape before my eyes, bending into the curved shape of a bow. It was plain but even more elegant and stunning because of it.
"Ooooh. How lovely!" exclaimed Felicity, clasping her hands and bobbing on the balls of her feet like a small child.
"Careful." Warned Kieran. "Wouldn't want to blast a wall or some such."
Carefully I lowered my hand and the light faded and the bow changed back into an unassuming stick. "Huh." I said with a smile. "Neat! I think you and I will get along after all Rohime!"
Not surprisingly, the sick did not answer my enthusiasm.
After that, things were a blur of activity. Felicity and Garris insisted that I should go to my room and get a few hours sleep before we made for the Eternal Lake. They were probably right in saying I could use the rest, but I was too anxious to get much sleep. Kieran did not seem to have the same issue, however. He was fast asleep on the couch on the other side of my room, Rougier curled up on the cushion of the near by chair. He had stayed here on my request as I was sure that he would just work if I let him out of my sight and I was of the mind he needed the sleep more than me. Sure enough, it had not taken long for he and the dragon to pass out.
Shinra was asleep as well, but she was curled at my back like a huge, murderous pillow on my bed. It was a very sturdy thing, but it protested greatly to the massive tiger settling in on it. It made me laugh though and she purred heartily as she fell into a cat nap. I stroked her big head and settled back into her more comfortably. On my lap sat the little dark leather Grimoire.
I really had not paid it much mind since arriving in Demonia and I thought now that that was a terrible oversight. Truthfully, I had been distracted since being here, but this book had been a fountain of wisdom before and could possibly provide me with more now. And going into this battle in a couple hours, I was sure I could do with any wisdom I could get.
"Sorry for not paying you much attention as of late..." I said softly to the little book. It did not respond but I thought I felt it get a little warm. Like it was saying 'hi' or something. I smiled and flipped to a random page. I landed on the two contract seals that I had made with Vendaval and Drogin. When I had added them to the book, they had not been side by side, but the book had a mind of its own, so it organized itself how ever it liked. I smoothed a hand over the pages and felt a pang for my two monster friends. I really hoped they were alright. They were not dead, that much I knew at least. If they had been then at the very least these two seals would no longer be in the book.
"Nice of you to reassure me like that." I smiled down at the book before turning the page.
I was immediately met with a passage I had never seen before. I guess the book had some wisdom to share after all:
Concerning Monster Classifications: What Lies Beyond A-Rank
As all persons know, monsters can be divided into various ranks ranging from 'F' to the ultra rare rank of 'SS'. These ranks are set usually based on a monster's power, magical abilities, and to some extent, rarity. Most monsters stay in their given rank all their lives and never deviate. However, it has been proven that there are those whose ranks change. Most commonly this is achieved through battle or a kind of spiritual awakening, both almost always aided by the intervention of those spices of intelligence not categorized as 'monsters' such as humans, elves, demons, and other such races.
This I often accompanied with a name being bestowed upon the monster. This book illustrates the way to do this for those lucky enough to possesses the massive mana requirements to achieve this divine act of naming monsters. But even monster tamed by the average tamer can often raise a rank or even two in the process. It is believed this is due to bind oneself to another mana infused being, making the souls even out in spiritual power.
However, what many may not know unless they have bothered to be taught in the higher studies of the natural world, is that there are further ranks separate from those of the typical letter ranking system nearly everyone is familiar with. These out lying ranks are rarely bestowed upon a monster and are not necessarily indicative of a creature's power or mana capabilities.
These ranks are as thus: Legendary, Mythical, God, and Titan.
It is thought that the very flow of mana itself- the life blood of our many and varied worlds- hand these ranks to monsters. Perhaps even people can achieve these ranks as well.
Legendary monsters are just that: They are monsters that, through acts good or ill, have attained a legendary status. Some monster with this rank are: Jeirda, the sea serpent said to be so large that it could swallow ships whole; or Rougier Death Bringer, the great dragon who struck fear across the Demon Realm for many an age; and even the great wolf beast Cole Fang, an untamed monster who lent his aid to Hearthian Heroes in an age past.
Mythical are, somewhat, like legendary monsters, but said to have a divine bearing. I do not usually like to add my personal thoughts to these pages, but I feel that in this case a personal reference is needed. I was on a quest to prove that this ranking of monster was a true ranking and not just a theory and I was able to meat one of these mythical ranked monsters myself. I can guarantee that these creatures- at least some of them- are real.
One such Mythical ranked monster is the guardian of the Eternal Lake, Cinder-Fetch. It is said that this bird was a minor deity and was the sole reason that Demonia could thrive a prosper as it does.
Next are the gods. This is indisputable as we all know of the god's existence, however not all people agree that they can be classified as monster so there is some controversy around this ranking. Many a scholar has gotten into arguments over weather or not the gods have evolved past the classification of monster as it is common knowledge that when they shed their ancient forms, they left their mana stones behind.
Lastly is the rank of titan. These monsters are as ancient as they come. It is said that it was from the titans that the gods them selves came from. Or some say that the titans were a kind of cousin species to the gods. What ever the theory all can agree that that gods and the titan were grand enemies since time immemorial. There is no way to truly prove the existence of these titans as it is believed that the god wiped them out before ascending to their current forms.
It is important that a tamer be aware of these alternate rankings, however. True, it is unlikely that a tamer would ever encounter any beast of either of these categories, but if one did, they should be aware that the attempted taming of these creatures is not recommended in the case of legendary beasts and downright suicidal concerning the gods and titans, even most if not all those of the mythical rank.
Though monsters of these ranks are not necessarily powerful, they are beloved of mana and as such it would coast and astronomical amount of mana to tame one. And it could even be detrimental to the very land itself as many of the creatures that obtain these ranks are tied to the worlds in ways, we may be incapable of comprehending.
Well, damn... Apparently Rougier was more famous and dangerous than I really bothered to acknowledge. And, whoopsie on taming a legendary monster. I hope that didn't come back to bite me later. I wondered if Ooma was told that I had tamed the very scary dragon she saw fit to add to her book?
And this Cinder-Fetch seemed important. If it was, indeed, real, then it was likely in big trouble up at the Eternal Lake right now. Maybe that was the issue. Maybe the corruption was spreading because Cinder-Fetch was hurt when Rougier and the Queens fought? No doubt I would get at least some answers tomorrow.
And so much for it being unlikely that a tamer would come across any of these monsters! Heck, I have had a couple conversations with a god, and I have tamed a legendary. And I have only been doing this for a few months!
