Chapter 3

Aurora Perish gasped, jolting awake from yet anhtmare. Ever since she transmigrated into this world, they had been happening nonstop. She wasn't like this before.

It had been two weeks since she arrived here, and school would be starting soon.

Last week, she had made pns with the main character, Hyath Chua. Deing her invitations too often would seem suspicious, so Aurora Perish relutly agreed.

Hyath Chua had been in another try at the time but mentiohat she would be back before school started.

Hyath Chua stantly updated Aurora Perish about her whereabouts, going bad forth between different tries like it was nothing.

That's when it really hit Aurora just how insanely rich this girl was. Four to six tries in a single month? Seriously.

  Rich people..

It wasn't like she had raveled before it's just that, back then, it was always for business. Before she could enjoy a truly rexed life, she had to work hard, traveling from pce to pce just to secure her future. She had dreamed of a zy, leisurely life, but before she could even reach it... she died.

And now? She was back at square one.

Should I just g to someone powerful at this point?

Hyath Chua, for example. Not in a shameless way, of course she would be a genuine friend.

  Obviously.

Aurora Perish was busy daydreaming about her perfect, carefree life when the door suddenly opened.

Sky Perish, the inal owner's alpha father, stepped inside. "Oh, you're awake. You didn't answer when I knocked, so I thought you were still asleep."

  Normally, the inal body's omega father, Jamie Osorio, would be the one waking her up. Then again, they were also part of the reasoruggled to fall asleep in the first pbsp;

If she ever had enough money, she'd definitely i in some thick soundproofing for this room.

Aurora Perish stared at Sky Perish expressionlessly like he owed her billions.

"Even wild dogs know how to restrain themselves so as humans, shouldn't we have the strength to practice self-trol?"

Sky Perish froze for a moment.

Sky Perish was about to speak when Aurora Perish quickly cut him off.

  "Good m, Fa-Papa."

Aurora Perish still wasn't used to calling the inal owner's two fathers "Dad." Acc to her memories, the inal Aurora had always called her alpha father "Papa" and her omega father "Dad."

Sky Perish looked momentarily fused before snapping out of it and respondihusiastically,"Good m!!"

He was a bit dazed. His daughter seemed... different. Of course, teenagers went through ges as they grew, but this felt sudden. Still, he was relieved whatever phase she had been going through seemed to have passed quickly. Now, his little girl had finally matured.

With a bright smile, Sky Perish patted her head. "Go wash up first, then e downstairs for breakfast."

Aurora's bathroom had finally been fixed, making it much more veo use.

While sh, a sudden realization hit her this world was pletely different from hers. She had almost fotten that this was an Omegaverse, a world where people were divided into three sedary genders: Alpha, Omega, aa.

  Alpha

Alphas were generally the stro of the three, known for their leadership, dominance, and natural authority. They had heightened physical abilities and were often seen as protectors or leaders in society.

For example, Sky Perish, the inal owner's alpha father, rime example of this. He had a strong presence, a natural fidence, and a protective nature-though, at home, he was more of a doting father than an intimidating figure.

  Omega

Omegas were often seen as the most delicate and vulnerable gehough that wasn't always the case. They had unique biological traits, including the ability to bear children, and were sometimes sidered physically weaker than Alphas. However, many Omegas made up for it with intelligence, adaptability, aional strength.

A good example was Jamie Osorio, the inal owner's omega father. While he had a naturally softer demeanor, he wasly fragile. Despite his stoic personality, he had a quiet strength-ohat banced out Sky Perish's more eiature.

  Beta

Betas were the most ral of the three. They didn't have the heighterength of Alphas or the reproductive traits of Omegas, making them the closest tur humans. They made up the majority of the popution and often acted as the stabilizers in society, ued by pheromones and other biological urges that influenced Alphas and Omegas.

Thinking about it now, Aurora couldn't believe she had fotten su importaail. This wasn't just a simple transmigration it was a whole different world with its ow of rules.

The inal owner of this body was an Alpha female. Aurora Perish wasn't sure if that would ge-would she somehow revert to being a Beta, like in her past life? If she did, it wouldn't be the worst thing. In fact, she'd rather be a Beta than a wild, uable Alpha.

Thinking about biology and chemistry, Aurora Perish scratches her fluffy hair. This world's stific principles were likely different from the ones she was used to, which meant those subjects would be hell for her. Then again, it wasn't like she had ever been good at syway.

  Well, whatever.

She had worked hard in her past life. In this one, she was going to get all the sleep she missed out on.

Aurora Perish loved sleeping, and now was the perfect time to make up for it.

As she examined her new body, she noticed a major differehe inal owner was taller than she had been in high saybe it was because this body had received proper nutrition, unlike her past self.

175 cm the inal owner was just 15 years old, it was clear that being an Alpha had its advantages. Or maybe it was just geics-after all, both of the inal owner's parents were pretty tall, too.

After finishing her shower, she opehe et to find something to wear and immediately regretted it.

  What... is this?

Aurora Perish was still not used to seeing the inal owner’s drawer.

The inal owner had zero sense of fashion. Almost every shirt inside was covered in anime prints, and not in a stylish way. At least it's better than those loud 2020s anime shirts, she thought, trying to fort herself.

Sighing, she pulled out a pin blue sleeveless polo shirt and a pair of bck pants.

Since she was going out today with the main character, Hyath Chua, she made a mental note-she absolutely o buy at least two new outfits.

Because no way was she walking around in public wearing these bizarre T-shirts. She would rather go out naked.

Aurora Perish walked downstairs and was immediately met with the sight of the inal owner's parents being all lovey-dovey i.

She quickly averted her gaze, pretending not to see anything, and instead focused on the jar of cookies sitting on the ter.

Without hesitation, she grabbed some cookies and poured herself a gss of milk, choosing to mind her own business as she happily ate as if she weren't hearing those... questionable kissing sounds ing from the kit.

Meanwhile, Jamie Osorio and Sky Perish were too caught up in their moment to notice at first. But when they finally turned around, they froze staring at their supposedly still asleep daughter, casually lounging on the coud eating like it was the most normal thing in the world.

Aurora Perish, pletely focused on watg TV, didn't even notice their rea.

Jamie Osorio cleared his throat, feeling a bit awkward, while Sky Perish, ag as if nothing happened, smoothly reached into the cookie jar and grabbed one for himself.

Jamie Osorio sighed. These two are way too alike.

It wasn't until Aurora Perish noticed Sky Perish standing beside her that she realized he had taken a cookie. For a sed, she looked shocked, then quickly snapped out of it right, she o borrow some money.

Without thinking, she spped Sky Perish's hand just as he was about to take another cookie.

Sky Perish raised an eyebrow, amused. "What was that for?"

Aurhe look he was giving her and got straight to the point.

  "Papa, I need money."

The moment she said it, she paused. After receiving the inal owner's memories, she realized something the inal Aurora Perish was never polite to her parents. At all.

So, instead of f herself to act differently, she decided to just roll with it a used to her new reality.

Sky Perish, meanwhile, stared at his daughter, looking deep in thought. This wasn't the first time she had begged him for money usually, it was for manga or anime merdise, which he had sighed about tless times.

"What do you need money for?" he finally asked.

Aurora Perish, without hesitation, replied, "To buy some outfits."

Sky Perish was stunned for a moment.

His daughter the same daughter who wore nothing but fmboyant, over the top anime merdise was suddenly ied in normal clothes? That was almost harder to believe than the fact that she had woken up on time today.

For a sed, he didn't even know what to say.

Before he could process it further, Aurora Perish spoke up.

"I got bored of my old outfits," she said casually.

"I saw some cool, normal looking clothes in a magazily, and I figured... maybe it's time for a ge."

That wasirely a lie. While she had been stuck at home for the past two weeks, she had flipped through a few magazines out of boredom magazihat, thankfully, featured regur clothing.

Besides, between helping out in the bakery and having nothing else to do, she had also spent some time skimming through the news and books lying around the house.

Before she could finish expining, Sky Perish finally snapped out of his shock.

"That's a great idea!" he blurted out, eyes practically shining with excitement.

"You're finally going to have a normal- I mean, stylish wardrobe! You really got your fashion sense from your papa!"

Sky Perish puffed out his chest, looking ridiculously proud of himself.

Suddenly, a rge hand reached out and squeezed Aurora Perish's cheeks.

"Stop lying to our child. Your fashion sense when you were younger wasn't aer."

Aurora Perish blinked. So, you're admitting that the inal owner didn't have a sense of style either?

Sky Perish pouted dramatically. "I did! I was famous among omegas! There used to be lines of admirers waiting for me at the south gate and the nate!"

Unfortunately for him, no one was listening.

Realizing he was being pletely ignored, Sky Perish sulked.

Aurora Perish, after living here for two weeks, had e to uand something the inal owner's alpha father was ridiculously dramatic. At first gnce, he looked reserved alemanly, but once you became part of his family, you'd see airely different side of him.

Before she could dwell on it, Jamie Osorio pinched her cheeks again.

"How much do you o buy clothes?" he asked.

Aurora Perish, struggling to speak because of her squished cheeks, simply held up two fingers.

Jamie Osorio raised an eyebrow. "Only two sets of outfits?"

  Aurora Perish nodded.

Sky Perish, who had been pletely left out of the versation until now, finally spoke up. "Why only two? Buy more!"

He was clearly determio fix his daughter's questionable sense of style.

Before they could argue about it, they suddenly remembered breakfast.

While eating, Sky Perish brought up Aurora's pns to go out with her friend, Hyath Chua. He made sure to remind her, "e home early."

Aurora simply nodded absentmindedly while eating.

  Just as they finished breakfast.

Their bakery was located right o their house, making it easy to go in and out of the shop without inveniehis area was also fully secure, so there was no real o worry about strangers.

Aurora Perish nibbled on a chocote stick as she waited for the main character, Hyath Chua, to arrive.

Then there was a kno the door.

She was trying to stay calm, but if she said she wasn't nervous, she'd be lying.

After all, this was different from just reading about Hyath Chua in a his time, the character actually existed.

Wouldn't it be amazing to meet a fial character in real life?

The thought made Aurora Perish both anxious aed.

Aurora Perish took a deep breath, trying to prepare herself. Sihe inal owner's parents were already busy opening the bakery shop, she was alone in the house.

Slowly, she made her way toward the door.

Just as she reached for the handle

  BANG!

The door suddenly burst open, smming straight into her face.

Aurora Perish stumbled backward, clutg her forehead in pain.

Sky Perish walked in, grinning as he chatted with Hyath Chua. However, he immediately froze at the loud noise.

Both he and Hyath turo see Aurring at him like he owed her billions.

Sky Perish, looking both guilty and ed, quickly spoke up. "Sorry about that! Are you okay?"

Aurora, still rubbing her forehead, ignored him pletely.

Instead, her gaze nded on Hyath Chua.

  The main character.

Hyath Chua, standing just behind Sky Perish, wore a gentle smile.

"Are you alright?" she asked, her voice soft almost soothing, like she was f a child.

  Aurora Perish froze.

Hyath Chua's long, straight bck hair cascaded down her back. Her face, with its androgynous beauty, was even more striking in person.

Aurora Perish's thoughts ground to a halt.

This is the main character, she thought.

For a moment, it was as if filters had been pced over everything. The light around Hyath Chua seemed brighter, almost blinding.

  Aurora Perish squinted.

  She should've brought sungsses.

As Aurora Perish had promised herself, she actually put on sungsses ihe house.

Meanwhile, Sky Perish was busy preparing the tiramisu cake he had promised Hyath Chua.

So now, Aurora Perish and Hyath Chua were left waiting together.

Aurora Perish took this ce to observe the girl beside her.

Hyath Chua stood tall at 173 cm, making her a few months older and slightly shorter than the inal owner of this body. It was surprising that the seale (female) lead of the novel was actually taller than the male (female) lead.

But that wasn't the only ued thing about her.

Everything about Hyath Chua seemed effortlessly perfect.

She wore a white long sleeve button up shirt, ly tucked into bck scks, with a sleek wat her left wrist. She gave off an aura of elegand quiet fidence.

The longer Aurora Perish stared, the more she realized

This was the presence of a main character.

Hyath Chua, of course, was not oblivious to the intearing.

She had been friends with Aurora Perish for over a year now, and she knew all too well that her friend's personality could shift at any moment.

Aurora Perish was the type of person who would pletely ge her personality just because she thought it was cool after watg or reading something.

For example, a year ago, she acted all aloof, calling herself a "lone wolf."

Then, not long after, she suddenly joihe basketball club, g she wao be as cool as the red-haired guy from that old anime Sm Dunk.

  And now... this.

  What was it this time?

  Whiime inspired her now?

Aurora Perish, realizing that she had been staring for too long, quickly looked away. But she couldn't help it.

This was her first time meeting a fial character brought to life!

The two people in the room didn't feel awkward at all.

Both were each other in sileil Hyath Chua finally spoke up.

"School is starting tomorrow. Have you finished your summer homework?"

Aurora Perish, despite her love for ziness, wasn't the type to procrastinate pletely. She knew herself well if she didn't take care of her responsibilities early, she'd be the oressing out ter.

That's why, st week, she had already pleted all of her homework.

She nodded absentmindedly, barely registering the versation.

Right now, her mind was somewhere else.

She was curious about what the female lead of the novel would look like in real life.

In the inal story's timelihe female lead and Hyath Chua hadn't ied much at this point. They were only supposed to meet ter, when Hyath Chua was already in college.

But before she could dwell on that thought, Hyath Chua spoke again.

"Are you ready for your sed growth?"

She was referring to the sedary gender development that all teenagers underwent.

When they were youhey had undergoest that predicted their most likely gender oute.

For example, someone might have a 78% ce of being an Alpha, a 55% ce of being an Omega, and a 25% ce of being a Beta. The results weren't always absolute, but they gave a general idea of what to expect.

To be ho, Aurora Perish wased at all.

  She was just mildly curious.

If she turned into an Alpha... then that would mean that thing, right?

  I wonder if...

Aurora Perish was lost in thought when, suddenly, Sky Perish squeezed her cheek.

"Here's the best tiramisu cake in the world!!"

Sky Perish proudly pced a dessert pte oable.

Hyath Chua, who always carried a calm and posed demeanor, actually looked happy at this moment.

Aurora Perish ignored Sky Perish and focused oing. She took a bite and instantly melted in delight.

Just as she was enjoying her dessert, Sky Perish spoke again.

"Tsk tsk, look at your stomach it's getting soft."

Aurora Perish, who had been happily indulging in her food, rolled her eyes at him.

She mentally hat she should probably start exerg not for weight trol, but so she could eat even more food without guilt.

Still, she had to admit, Sky Perish wasn't exaggerating.

This really was the best tiramisu she had ever tasted.

After finishing her dessert, Sky Perish patted her head.

"I gotta help your dad now! Remember, e home early."

Despite his pyful nature, Sky Perish was still protective of his daughter. Since she hadn't undergone her sedary gender developme, he was extra cautious about letting her go out alone.

Once Aurora Perish finished eating and washed the dishes, she and Hyath Chua finally left the house.

Outside, a sleek bck Honda Accord arked in front of the bakery.

It was one of the best four der models out there.

Aurora Perish wasn't an expert on cars, but even she could tell this one was expensive.

A driver was already seated behind the wheel.

Hyath Chua opehe car dracefully, while Aurora Perish walked around to the other side to open hers.

As soon as Aurora Perish got into the car, Hyath Chua spoke.

"Your father is as strict as always."

  Aurora Perish nodded in agreement.

Hyath Chua tinued, "Where do you want to go?"

  Aurora Perish g her.

She was pletely different from how she would be iure.

Right now, Hyath Chua carried herself like a noble graceful, kind, and posed.

But ter on, she would ge.

The future Hyath Chua wouldn't be the same person sittio her now.

She would bee colder, more ruthless, even towards her so called friends.

Aurora Perish wondered should she try to ge her fate?

But wait if she interfered, what would happen to the story?

  Would there be sequences?

Would she, as a transmigrator, be punished for ging the plot?

  No, it was too risky.

For now, she would simply observe.

If things took a turn for the worse, then she would step in to help.

After all, Hyath Chua's character growth was essential.

She might appear kind ale on the surface, but iy, she was arrogant and sarcastic.

Still, she genuinely cared for the people close to her like the inal owner of this body.

Since Hyath Chua had no ill iions towards her, Aurora Perish decided she didn't mind her personality at all.

And holy, she didn't care much about it either.

After all, Aurora Perish had met many different kinds of people in her previous life.

Rich sed-geion heirs were especially easy to spot.

They all had a certain way of carrying themselves-whether it was arrogance, entitlement, or a subtle air of superiority.

If you entered them often enough, it became easy the signs.

Aurora Perish responded, "I want to buy clothes, but not from expeores."

Hyath Chua nodded in uanding, but before she could say anything, Aurora Perish suddenly remembered something important.

"And no anime merch just normal clothes."

For a moment, Hyath Chua looked pletely shocked, as if she couldn't believe what she had just heard.

Aurora Perish caught the expression but chose to ig, ag as if she wasn't the one responsible for causing such a rea.
