There was a big commotion in the city. Which was normal as the northern sky was ablaze. Hisui’s past year had been quite miserable. But it had all been blown away by this event. She had firmly believed that Agnis had died a year ago, but here he was fighting a goddess with a dragon. She was spectating the fight with her Elgards eyes.
It all had started 2 hours ago when she was enjoying a cold drink on a terrace. Something strange had been spotted near Jubra, the city where Hisui was in currently. Several flashes and explosions going north and light beams shooting into the sky. It then died down but not too long after a large dome had been spotted and that’s when Hisui started to spectate. She was in awe at how Agnis created an oceanic-like dome with fish and dragons and made the goddess his plaything.
It was a pleasant surprise for her, since she had presumed him dead before this event. Hisui enjoyed how he literally went scorched earth on the country of a goddess. Hisui didn’t have a personal issue with any deity, but she was aware that her race was often at odds against them. She had considered helping Agnis out, but she realized that her lack of speed would make her a liability. The speed of those attacks would be a problem. Agnis made evading them seem so effortlessly, but Hisui was aware that there was no way she could compete in speed with a phoenix hybrid.
She enjoyed the battle until 2 men appeared in front of her. “Hey there, Jade Serpent. We are big fans of yours, do you mind hanging out with us?”
Hisui closed the filters in her left eye to look at what was happening right in front of her. “I am not interested. I’m in the middle of something very important.”
“We will do anything!”
Hisui’s eyes turned pink purple. “Anything?” the two men nodded and Hisui cast [Charm] on them.
“You get me another drink.” She held up a profile of Pavlo. “You, if this guy arrives here and is looking for me, tell him I took a teleport gate to Brilliance.”
“Yes my queen!” the men dutifully performed their duties. Hisui continued to spectate as her object of desire was laying waste to a cathedral. She admired his artistic sense of destruction. She would have just burnt the cathedral down, but she acknowledged that this method must be even more satisfying, as it also caused his opponent to destroy what she was trying to protect.
This and the fact that he had faked his death made her even more interested. Hisui loved a chase. These men who did as she told were no fun, but Agnis made the chase interesting, varied, and exciting. Nobody had been able to slip through her fingers for this long, be it prey or a love interest.
Hisui’s eyes glowed even more intensely as her charm magic went out of control. Anyone who was in eyesight of her got charmed and the bystanders all asked her how they could be of assistance to her. It annoyed her, but they all gave got a task, and she told the rest to leave her alone.

She sat on the edge of her chair, almost ready to fly to his aid as the sky brightened and an enormous stream of light magic dropped on him. But he held on. His cute little fox seemed to assist him. Hisui wondered if Agnis was on to something. She wasn’t aware of anything like that fox, but it seemed to compliment him extremely well. As if he had split himself and the two parts were working together.
Agnis’ tails flared and created a fire cone that scorched anything behind him. It looked… magical. She could barely contain her excitement when he finally turned the situation into a counter and entered a critical rush. Hisui’s charm magic flared once again and everyone around her was treating her as if she was royalty.
“We can’t accept you relaxing in a place like this, miss. We will prepare adequate accommodations for your needs.
“Do as you wish, as long as you don’t disturb me.”
People gathered and lifted Hisui and carefully carried her in a fancy car they had prepared and drove her to a deluxe accommodation. They took care of everything. All Hisui had to do was sit and continue to spectate the battle.
She had been placed in a red velvet chair into an intricately decorated large room. But she cared for none of this. Agnis had been sent flying across the country and had crashed into some mountains. Yet again did she want to get up, but a dragon came to his aid.
Which ended up in both of them sending the sky ablaze. This is where others that didn’t have Elgards Eyes started to notice something was going on in the northern skies. This was a big deal, but it wasn’t causing as big of a commotion as one would expect.
Bizax wasn't a country that others were very fond of, most citizens were also used to a lot of strange things happening, so this didn’t cause this much of a commotion. It did cause concerns for if this would move to other countries, but Hisui was confident that this would not happen.
“A team up with a wind dragon, eh? How interesting.” Hisui ordered some wine and continued observing as they were slowly pushing the goddess back. Hisui got a strange warm feeling in her lower abdomen. The feeling as if butterflies were trapped in her abdomen increased when 4 blood moons appeared. “That’s it! I think I should end this chase. I can’t control myself anymore! You! Put this on the tab of the Under Dog!”
“Yes ma’am!”
Hisui got up and [Transformed] into the best version of herself. “It is time to make him mine!”
She went into stealth and headed northeast with a warm swirling feeling in her abdomen. It didn’t stop, it even got worse after a masterful execution of magic. “A foxfire [Meteor]? I wonder if he will teach me that.”?
