Noelle stomped and a hammer of dense rock formed. It got reinforced by [Polygonic Reinforcement] and lifted.

  “Too bad I couldn’t get a dragon fire infused [Polygonic Armament] but this should work. Come on, big boy. It’s time to go to sleep.” Noelle taunted the Mountain.

  The Mountain roared and rushed at Noelle. Noelle didn’t move, all she did was swing the hammer. Noelle had already confirmed that nothing the Mountain can do is able to hurt her. She doesn’t need to move or block. All she needs to do is attack. The hammer grew and smacked the Mountain back.

  “No damage, eh? Annoying, but not unsurprising.” Noelle stomped and her fourth crystal tail appeared. She stomped again, and nails made out of crystal grew out of the ground.

  The nails got smacked by the hammer, which flew at the Mountain. She threw the hammer after all the nails had been sent flying and created gauntlets made out of crystal. The ground under her moved and pushed her toward the Mountain.

  None of the nails had done damage to the Mountain. The hammer seemed to have done some damage, however. The Mountain took a liking to the hammer, grabbed it and lifted it above his head . The Mountain brought down the hammer on Noelle, which she blocked with her right arm. The hammer shattered into small crystals after Noelle stomped.

  “Do you seriously think that I would allow you to use MY hammer?!” [Crystal Walls] popped up on both sides of the Mountain.

  A rock wall behind him and crystal walls to the side. The only way out was forward. The path that Noelle was blocking.

  “You sure have guts calling yourself the Mountain in front of a superior earth user.” The Mountain used [Earthquake] but Noelle cancelled it by simply stomping. The Mountain sent an earth infused punch which got pushed back by Noelle’s punch.

  The size difference didn’t faze Noelle. She might be physically smaller than the Mountain, but she did feel bigger than him. None of the Mountain’s punches reached her. Any attempt of earth-based magic got canceled by Noelle’s stomp. Since earth magic often relies on breaking earth or shifting its form, it was easy for Noelle to stabilize the earth so that this was impossible. She had to yet figure out how to do this with other elements, but no earth user could hope to ever defeat her.

  The Mountain’s fists were bleeding, and he used [Diamond Skin].

  “Oh! I was waiting for this! It has been a while since I had a punching bag!” Noelle reinforced her crystal gauntlets which turned into diamond. All her tails appeared and she stomped, burying the Mountain. She buried him enough so that the Mountain was as tall as Noelle. Only the mountain’s head was sticking out of the ground.

  “Heh, have anything to say before I send you off?” She said with a smirk.

  “Groaah!”

  “Hmm I wonder if lil’ bro has given them speech. This blockhead hasn’t said anything since I came here. Anyway, not my problem.” She shrugged and started punching the Mountain. Any attempt of the Mountain to unearth himself got met with a stomp, canceling his attempt.

  The [Diamond Skin] shattered after 3 minutes of punching. Noelle recast [Diamond Skin] on him to continue punching.

  “Oh no you don’t get out of this before the time is up!”

  For the 12 minutes that Noelle was keeping up the relentless assault of punches, she had to recast [Diamond Skin] 21 times on the Mountain to make sure he didn’t get defeated before she was done punching. There was a reason for this seemingly act of pointless violence.

  Noelle was building up [Momentum] with every punch. Defeating the Mountain was easy for her. Destroying the root in one shot was a problem, however. This was her answer.

  10:30 came, and she ended the Mountain with [Crystal Annihilation], a powerful punch which dealt more damage against tough opponents. It also fed off and consumed the [Momentum] she had buit up. The punch obliterated the Mountain and the wave of crystals tore through the root, destroying it.

  Noelle wiped the sweat off her forehead as she admired the crystal formations her punch had left behind. “Whew that felt good.”
