Dear Daddy, Come Back Soon

The door of a rge, bck Ram 1500 cracked open before a bubblegum high heel boot extended the door, pushing until it obliged to remain open. Lo slid down slowly, holding on to the edge of the seat until her boots finally contacted the ground. Her pout made evident she was not thrilled to be leaving her daddy’s truck. The man’s smile grew as he watched his daughter smooth down her short, pid skirt before turning to plead one st time with her eyes.

“My little girl,” he soothed. The girl retrieved her pink backpack from the floor of the seat, hiking the straps over her shoulders. The man’s snort made her return her gaze to him. “My rebellious, little girl... You’ll have fun here, Lo. Trust me.”

She huffed through her nose, pouting in a way that made her father ugh. “Why can’t I just come to work with you over the summer?” She whined in a sweet pitch that sustained the man’s smile.

“Because you’ll be a distraction, love.” A knowing raised brow punctuated his sentence. “I can’t have you roaming around, bored.”

“I won’t get bored...” Lo muttered, triple checking for her things in her bag. She had her water bottle, her phone in a fuzzy bunny case, two pairs of headphones, a Milky Way candy bar she begged her daddy to buy her at the gas station, and her pink and white polka dotted journal.

Daddy smiled, watching Lo continue to stall. "All set, princess?"

"I think so." She muttered, returning the backpack on her shoulders before tugging the unicorn duffle bag onto the ground and setting her rainbow pillow on top. She had everything she needed but she felt nervous. This was her first time going to a camp and being apart from her daddy for the whole summer.

“What if no one likes me? Or I get lost? Or a bear eats me?!! Or--”

Her father ughed. "You're going to have a great time, Lo. I'll be back to pick you up before you know it."

Lo continued to pout but eventually nodded in understanding.

  "I love you, princess."

"I love you, daddy." She pulled herself in the truck again so she could give him a kiss. She hoped the kiss would change her father’s mind, but he nudged her back out.

“I’ll see you soon, my love.”

“I’ll see you if a bear doesn’t get me first.” She smiled as she waved before closing the door. Lo sighed a little sadder as she watched her daddy drive away.

Lo turned around to face the open campground. There was a tall pole in the center that was the intercom system. Three big buildings were nearby but the girl didn't know what they were. She saw other girls scattered around but felt lost.

Billy, the head counselor, had been watching Lo get dropped off. He walked over to greet her once her father left with a friendly smile.

"Hello, there. Welcome to Camp Bear Paw. He extended his hand to her. "My name is Billy."

Lo blushed softly, delicately shaking his hand. "I'm Lo~"

She shyly twirled the hair in one of her pigtails with her other hand. She wasn't expecting the counselor to be so good looking and young. He looked to be in his mid 20s, had chocote brown hair, was very tall, and had the gentle yet confident demeanor of a stag.

Lo was a petite girl but got help for her height with her heeled boots. She looked younger than she was. The girl had long ptinum-dyed hair. It was in low pigtails, the excess draped in front. The length of her hair went just past her breasts.

Her chest was one of the first things Billy noticed about her. She had to already be a C-cup which amazed and surprised him since the age range for the camp was 13-15. He wasn't particurly proud of himself for staring at the girl, but he also didn't seem too concerned in the moment.

Lo continued to smile at the young man. He matched it gently. "Allow me to carry your bag for you. I'll show you to your cabin then give you a quick tour."

"Okay!" Lo scooped up her pillow and allowed Billy to take her duffle bag. She happily followed him to the right where a few cabins were sprinkled here and there. As they walked, Lo looked around and met an icy gre from another girl who had her arms crossed. She was staring right at Lo. She wondered what her problem was.

"You'll be sharing with two other girls." Billy said as he led her inside and pced her bag on one of the beds. "Will this be alright?"

The cabin was a cozy light-colored wood. There were three beds, one single bed on the right of the room and a bunk bed on the opposite side. A salmon-colored trunk sat at the foot of the bed; a yellow and a blue trunk sat on either side of the bunk bed.

Lo smiled and dropped her pillow onto the bed Billy picked for her. "Yes! I love it~"

The counselor smirked and motioned towards the door. "Let me show you the rest~"
