As the creature approached the tower I saw a glimpse of dust appear beside me, I quickly jolted to attack only to realize Overon was gone, next thing I knew I saw what befell him…. He jumped. Like the maniac he was he sprinted at full speed to attack the creature from the distance I saw the glow of his heavenly emperor blade gun appear obviously ready to strike, he jumped up around 10 or so feet as he slashed down on the leg of the behemoth it jolted in pain but seemed like barely any viable damage was taken. I prepared myself as I always do pulling out my heavy duty assault cannon sniper and lined up my shot. As the cannon fired the vibration of the shockwave had visible effects on my character showing sign of extreme recoil but hey it was all a game, I continued my long range attack aiming for the weaker points like the neck and tail, I could only assume this battle was gonna be a lengthy one. As I fired I saw Overon bouncing off buildings while relentlessly slicing at the legs of this beast, we had definitely wounded it by now, its health showed about 25% drained meaning we still had 3/4th to go and I had already spent over 1,200 rounds with this I stood up and decided to change tactics as I would run out of ammunition way before we kill this thing. Luckily for us the beast had slow movement speed and saw its movements hindered by the building proximity. We were truly fortunate as to not have to fight it in the open as its attacks would surely be far more potent than the current ones.
On Overon’s side he had taken a few hits each draining his health by a sizable amount, if it wasn’t for his high speed regeneration he’d surely be done for, he lunged forward as after hundreds of slashes he’d finally been able to slice off 3 of 5 legs on the left side knocking the behemoth off balance.
As the battle raged I rushed into battle and activated my blood magic, luckily the behemoth had left quite the pool of blood for me to play with. The blood started flowing off the ground and forming blood balls over my head as I raised an arm to manipulate the shape into massive blood spears about 10 in total each about 4-5 meters in length. I roared the chanted spell “tier 7 magic, blood Valkyrie spears” the spear fired at extreme speeds towards the eye of the creature piercing the outer membrane and effectively blinding it temporarily. During this brief moment I lost track of claw as I was sent flying back into several buildings behind me. Typically an attack like that should have killed the average player but my suit was made out of the dragon god fafnir's hide and could take such an impact with ease. Though I was coughing up blood I was effectively fine overall. I drank a health booster potion to regain some of my vitality as I stared with envy at Overon who somehow had been hit around 4 times and kept going like nothing, really goes to show the level difference.
As we continued fighting the creature its eye reopened as it sent a beam of concentrated light towards us, as we dodged we saw the sheer distraction it had left behind effectively turning all it touched to dust. The creature was down to around 40% of its health and we were looking worse and worse. It was time for Overons secret weapon as he screamed to get clear of the impact zone. We saw at that moment the night sky bright up with three berms that split the clouds open. The beams impacted the creature cause a massive amount of damage to its body, this was Overons racial skill wish 3 he could ask for one of 3 impossible wishes once a month this one being heavens fall which as the name implies hits a target with extreme beams of power in order to deal maximum effective damage, very few Rankers had unlocked this ability and even fewer knew how to wield it as well as Overon.

The damage was significant to say the least it had dropped down to about 5% you could tell it was on its last legs both metaphorically and literally as half its body was gone. It crawled, dragging its massive body towards us as we pulled out our greatest swords ready to strike. In that moment we both flew up and smashed in its head blowing it pieces and covering our characters with a thick coat of blood and guts. We stared at each other for a moment as we contemplated if getting this was even worth the effort, we had damaged our weapons, spent our racial abilities and even spent hundreds of rounds of ammo. All for a random reward and a title, though I was upset I could see Overon was pretty happy.
“Did you see that Deserter we totally blew it up!! Pretty sure I did that hahahaha!!”
“Yeah you definitely did that in no way I would have intentionally attacked with you or anything” I responded sarcastically.
After that Overon stared seriously at me as he said “Hey did that seem weird to you, like was it unusually high leveled and strong?”
“Now that you mention it I did notice that but then again event boss do tend to be stronger than normal”
“Yeah but it usually isn’t that strong….”
“Well maybe we just got..” I was interrupted by the reward screen, and on the screen read the reward unique skill granted “limit breaker” followed by a message from someone called G.H. The message said
“Hello adventurer, thank you for defeating the evil god that plagued my world, it was only thanks to you that countless worlds and dimensions were saved. I’m pleased to inform you that being our great hero’s we will be inviting you to save our world once again in Erralison as the evil god is destined to rise again. I’m sorry for dragging you into this but I had no choice. As compensation I’ll be granting you a wish for your future success as a reward. I truly wish you the best but I’m afraid this’ll be the last time we speak until you defeat the evil god once again, I’ve expended all my power. I truly wish you the best of luck!

I turned in that moment and asked Overon if he had received that weird message which he responded he had and that he received a strange unique skill called “transcendence”. This was truly peculiar but seeing as we had been on for about 4 hours IRL we decided to call it a night and drifted off to sleep.
