Ch 37 – Splitting the Sky

The faces of Shangguan Tianyang and Shangguan Tianyue were pretty ugly to see at the moment.

They were clearly familiar with the character of Shangguan Xue'er, clear that she would never show off randize anyone. So, for her to state that his move parted the sky in half, left them speechless.

The duo asked themselves and wondered if they could shake the sky with their moves ahe clusion was crystal clear and that was they could never do that.

Saying that they could move the sky was just a way to show their power and status but it was only onlt talk because to actually do that, it was almost impossible for them.

Let alohem, eveian, the stro expert on the mainnd couldn't do something like that at all.

"Hmph! I don't believe it! There is no way that there is someone who split the sky like that... Even that old bastard, Xue AoTian 't do that!" Shangguan Tianyue barked after a long time, looking very angry. "He must have used some cheap tricks to fool you, Xue'er. And also, o care about that dition at all! If that bastard dares to step here, only death awaits him!"

It was not his mistake and his words sounded like a det expnation of whatever transpired back then.

Evehers seemed to agree with him.

Shangguan Xue'er didn't speak and summoned her sword. Instantly a terrifying sword i surged out of her body, cutting through the air and asding to the skies.

She silently walked over to the baly and moved her hand, sshing at the sky.

"Sn Art First Sword: Sky Splitting Sword!"

  *Whoosh-*

A bright light fshed causing everyoo cover their eyes as a sharp sword ssh flew out arated the skies.

Shangguan Tianyang gazed at the sky and his body trembled, causing him to jump to his feet as he stared at Xue'er's back with wide eyes and his jaw hanging in the air.

Shangguan Tianyue was left speechless with a gaping mouth, gazing at the cra the sky with a dumbfounded expression.

If the two top-tier experts had such reas, then one could wonder about the reas of the juniors.

Shangguan Fei'er couldn't keep herself on her feet, plopping down on the ground, her face pale.

Zhan Lingtian was frozen in his spot, like a sculpture with a funny face, with no idea how to react.

Shangguan Longyin's beard danced in the air, his old eyes shot wide, disbelief written all over his face.

The craly stayed on the sky for a few seds before it vanished and everythiuro normal but it was enough to give the Pace Master of the stro Saint Lands the shock of his lifetime.

Even Shangguan Tinayue who was just saying that Jason must have fooled his daughter would be uo recover from this shock for a long time, believing ihing his daughter had told them just now.

Shangguan Xue'er plopped down on the ground, supp her weak body. The sword had vanished, returning back to her Physical jewel.

The move had taken a huge toll on her body and over half of her heavenly energy was depleted by the first sword but she had a small smile of satisfa pstered on her cold face.

She turned her head and asked. "Does aill believe that the sky ot be split by a sword? Master was right. All the experts in this world are delusional by the things they see and fail to grasp the core of cultivation... No wonder, sinany years, the number of experts at Heavenly God and above are very few."

She shook her head and sighed i.

Since she had worshipped Mingyue Wushuang, her horizons had been widened. She didn't even put the Five Saint Lands bined in her visions anymore.

It took almost half an hour for everyoo calm down.

Shangguan Tianyang asked with a solemn expression. "It seems it's not just your cultivation that has progressed rapidly in these past years..."

"Yes, Pace Master!" Shangguan Xue'er nodded her head and said. "I have finally touched the realm that I dream to achieve..."

A smile appeared on her face before it was repced with a sigh. "But only when I attai did I realize how small my goal was... Back then when I see his sword, I realize what level I want to reach. That is the peak of Sword!"

"And father I will still honor his dition..." She returned her head towards Shangguan Tianyue and replied.

  "But..."

"Father, I am not going to do it just because of his request. A Swordmaster of his caliber... even if he didn't ask, I would willingly offer myself to him."

"Xue'er!..." Shangguan Tianyue was dumbfounded by his daughter's words and he couldn't help but excim.

His eldest daughter was once a tury's genius, his pride and the pride of the Heavenly Expanse Pace. She was the successor of their Heavenly Expanse Pace, their Pace Master a she was talking suonsense.

And it was all because of that Hades!

Just thinking about it, Shagguan Tianyue's blood boiled as his expression darkened.

"I'm going to kill that bastard! I'm going to kill him! Nobody will stop me today!" Shangguan Tianyue shouted, veins bulging out in shock.

Shangguan Tiamyang rubbed his temple, feeling a headache ing from the situation.

"Lady Xue'er, I think you should listen to the Pace Master and Vice Pace Master. What's the point of everything when you're hurting your own family?" Zhan Lingtian spoke softly to Xue'er, very careful with his words.

Shangguan Xue'er didn't even g him, ign him entirely as she said to Tianyue. "Your reairrored the Mother's rea, Father. She was also very displeased when she learned about the bet, even st to Hades's resideo demand an answer."

A small smile appeared on the er of Xue'er's cold face like a beautiful flower blooming whealked about that.

"Your... mother? You... You've met your Mother? Where is she? Tell me quickly!..." Shangguan Tianyue was dumbfounded again, his emotions agitated to learn that piece of news. He grabbed her shoulders and asked.

Xue'er shook her head and said. "I think it's best if you wait a little more, father. Siher is pnning to break through the Heavenly God stage and then e here to fight with you. She is clearly upset about whatever happened in the past... Also, you should be grateful to Hades and my Master as they helped her in fetting most of her past worries and live happily. Or else you would have definitely at least had your limbs broken for sure."
