Ch – 30

Jason tinued expining his perspective, deeply immersed in his thoughts. When he paused to gnce around, he noticed the stunned expressions of the others in the room.

Whether it was Ye Zong, Ye Shuo, or even Xue Yin, all of them were staring at him with astonishment. For a moment, the room was filled with silence as they processed his words. Though Jason's ideas challeraditional norms, the logic behind them was undeniable. As they reflected on their own youthful days, his arguments struck a chord.

The enviro might shape a young person, but true maturity only es through time and experience.

No matter how much young individuals might try to act like adults, the truth remaihey were still developing and proo mistakes.

Arrogance, pride, ego, and a tendency to show off were on traits among the youth, especially for those who tasted success too early. This iheir sense of self-worth and caused them to look down on others.

Thinking it through, Ye Zong realized the value in Jason’s proposal. Perhaps this idea could lead to a healthier future flory City’s geion.

And on a more personal would also give him more time to keep his daughter by his side.

"Although implementing this rule might cause some resistance, I think it’s a reasonable idea," Ye Zong said after a moment of ption. "I’ll discuss it with the elders and leaders. I’ll make every effort to see it enacted."

Jason nodded. "That’s good. And don’t fet to at for the girls who are already betrothed. Their families should postpohe marriage timelioo."

"I’ll see what be done," Ye Zong affirmed with a determined nod.

"Good. Now, let’s move on to the main reason for your visit," Jason said, transitioning smoothly. "I’ve noticed that your stagnation in the Bck Gold realm is due to several factors."

Ye Zong straightened, his expression turning serious. "I’m listening."

"First, your cultivation teique—the Seve Teique—is strong at the initial stages, but it tains fws that hinder adva ier stages. I’ll provide you with the perfected version."

Ye Zong’s eyes widened in shock, but Jason didn’t stop.

"Sed, your choice of demo is holding you back. While the Bck-Scaled Earth Dragon is a powerful demo at the Bck Gold rank, its fire and dark attributes csh with your own Snow Wind attribute teiques. This creates disharmony, making progress difficult."

"Could something like that really affect a breakthrough?" Ye Shuo asked, clearly intrigued.

Jason nodded. "Absolutely. Cultivation isn’t just about using the most advaeiques or iing with the most powerful demos. It’s about synergy—choosing the right teique, the appropriate demo, and cultivating in harmony with your mind, body, and soul. Every detail matters."

Hearing this, Ye Zong’s body tensed, and he asked hesitantly, "Are you saying that everyone below Bck Gold rank hasn’t even started true cultivation?"

Jason smiled patiently. "You could think of it that way. Everything below Legend rank is, in essence, a test. A test to evaluate one’s potential. The true path begins when you reach Legend rank, which allows you to resoh the natural ws of the heavens."

Ye Zong’s expression stiffened as if he had been struck by lightning. "If that’s true... then what have I been doing all this time?"

Jason pced a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Don’t dwell too mu that thought. Mas were lost during the Age of Darkness, including the proper uanding of cultivation. What you’ve achieved so far is remarkable. You still have time to correct your path and achieve greater heights."

The City Lord took a deep breath, his mind ing with new perspectives. Jason’s words may have shaken him, but they also ignited a sense of hope for the future.

"Yes. First, you need a demo suitable for your soul realm. You're in luck that I've just the demo spirit for you." Speaking of that, Jasorieved a demo from his iory, while faking it to take it out from the interspatial ring.

"A Snow Wind Ape King with the God-level growth rate. Unlike your normal ape beast, this beast has the potential to reach Legend rank and above. Ie with it and make yourself familiar with it."

Ye Zong took the demo's spirit and carefully exami before putting it inside his ring. Even though he loved his Bck-Scaled Earth Dragon, for the sake of advang, he would repce it.

Jason smiled and said, "Now for the heart of the matter. City Lord, your itment to Glory City's safety is admirable, but it’s e with sacrifices. One of the biggest is your retionship with your own daughter."

Ye Zong’s eyes trembled as he stared at Jasoe his youth, the young man had pinpoihe thoughts he kept hidden.

Jason tinued, "I’m not saying this to criticize you, but to offer perspective. Regret weighs heavily on the mind, and it seeps into everything we do. I uand the immense responsibility you carry for the city, but life is uable. W endlessly about a future that might never e is a burden you don’t o bear alone."

Pausing for a moment, he softened his tone. "Your daughter needs you—not as the City Lord, but as her father. Children value support and presence from their parents more than anything else. You have the ce tthen that bond. Don’t let your role as the City Lord overshadow your role as a father."

Ye Zong fell into silent ption, gazing distantly as Jason’s words sank in. After a long pause, he released a heavy sigh.

"You’re right. In my effort tlory City, I’ve ed my family. I owe her that much as her father." He turo Jason, a faint smile toug his lips. "It’s a shame you’re not my son."

Jason shook his head with a small ugh. "Things happen as they should, City Lord. If not for our current roles, we might not even have crossed paths, let alone had this versation. That’s the uability of life."

Ye Zong chuckled, his mood visibly lightened. "True enough. You’re one of the best things to happen to Glory City in years. Teacher Ye Kai made the right decision in having you guide the younger geion."

Jason just chuckled and wrote down three cultivation manuals, suitable for each of them.

Keeping it safe like a treasure, Ye Zong and Ye Shuo returned, leaving the Inscription Association.
