"Well, one thing is for certain," O.I.A.'s cold voice broke the silence. "I will help you achieve your dreams. You may request one thing, and I will fulfill it."
Enzo sat back, his mind racing. The weight of the phone in his hand suddenly felt heavier. "One thing?" he repeated, his voice almost a whisper.
He leaned back against his chair, staring at the ceiling as his thoughts spiraled. He had been living with nothing but dreams for so long, but what was it he truly wanted? The possibilities felt endless, yet his hesitation remained. Should he test the limits? Push the boundary of what felt possible? His mind flickered to everything he’d never had—the life he could barely imagine—until it landed on something simple yet extravagant.
"I want R300,000 in my bank account. Right now," Enzo said, without thinking. His tone was almost dismissive, a last-ditch attempt at calling the bluff of whatever this was. The words left his mouth before he could second-guess them, and in that moment, he didn’t expect anything to happen.
Just as he was about to pull the phone away, his broken device buzzed with a new notification.
Enzo’s breath hitched. His eyes darted to the screen, heart pounding as his phone rang—its cracked glass showing an incoming message. Wire Transfer Notification.
R300,000 has been credited to your account. From: Merchandise Omni Innovations (M.O.I.).
“No. Freaking. Way,” Enzo muttered, blinking several times. He swiped through his phone in disbelief, verifying the account balance multiple times. It couldn’t be real. The sum, the source—M.O.I.? The very company whose name carried so much weight. Was this a scam? Or had O.I.A. actually done it?
"How is this even possible?" he whispered to himself.

O.I.A.'s voice cut through the tension, as calm and unshaken as ever. "I will show you proof of my ability to help you," it said. A new file popped open on the phone's screen, displaying the terms and services of the O.I. Phone. The familiar text scrolled in front of him.
Enzo’s eyes skimmed over the contract. It was long, but there were no hidden traps. No fine print, no tricks. He read through the clauses, every stipulation. After hours of research, he found nothing that could betray him but instead the clause were against O.I.A. The words seemed almost... too good to be true.
"This," he muttered, "is everything I could ever want."
O.I.A. responded, its tone as indifferent as always. "The terms and services state that you will receive a set and gear tailored for you. Once you use them, you may then decide the rewards you want. However, receiving them will require missions suited to your skills and progression."
Enzo swallowed hard. "And all I have to do is sign?"
"Yes," O.I.A. replied, presenting the final page of the contract. "Your rewards are yours to claim, but first, you must become a user. Sign the contract, and the set, the gear, and everything else will be at your disposal."
Enzo stared at the screen, fingers hovering above the signature line. This was real. M.O.I. was offering him everything, everything he could ever dream of. But at what cost? Was it truly as simple as signing his name?
He squeezed his eyes shut, his mind churning.
"I..." His voice faltered. Was he ready for this? Did he want to fully commit to something so unexplainable? His dream to push past boundaries, to challenge the limits of what people thought was possible—it was all here. And yet, a part of him still doubted as the darkness reappear ready to devour him as the voices return.
"Enzo, what it offering could be a trap don't sign it." The voice said as it was the voice of skepticm.
"Enzo, this is pointless, it better to be safe then sorry they no way this is real just step back it impossible for you to receive a offer like this." The voice of hopeless said, as the monster was about to eat him, as it teeth spiralling revealing itself as Enzo doubts, regrets and fear.
Finally, he opened his eyes, triggered by the word impossible and decided to take the risk.
"Nothing is impossible." Enzo said as with the realisation that nothing is impossible.
"I prove it to you." Enzo said as he hand was steady as he signed as the monster return to the shadow most importantly Enzo shadow.
A single beep echoed from the phone.
Congratulations, User 01.
The screen flickered briefly, and then the interface shifted, welcoming him to his new reality.
"You are now officially a user," O.I.A. intoned. "Your journey begins now."
Enzo leaned back in his chair, the weight of the decision settling in. This was it. The beginning of everything. Or maybe the end of everything he had known. The money, the gear, the set—it was all in his hands now. And all he had to do was walk forward.
He exhaled slowly. “Let’s see if you’re really as honest as you present yourself,” he muttered, more to himself than to O.I.A.
The phone’s screen blinked, and a new message appeared.
Your set is on the way. Please wait for further instructions.
