Chapter: 3
Adjustments
Caleb looked confused at the translucent screen before him. He slowly extended his armored hand, but it passed through the blue Box. A flicker of curiosity lighting up his hollow sockets where his eyes should be. “Interesting, interesting” he mumbled in his head. Although he didn’t fully understand his whole situation and didn’t know why in the nine hells, he was even here in this mocking of a knight’s body. At least he got that this spreadsheet seemed to represent his skills and power. It was in a game like fashion, but he didn’t mind at least this way it was more understandable and easy to track his progress. He was a bit shocked when he read the big numbers on this screen but bigger was better right? The other thing that surprised him that he had skills and talents but no clue as for how they work. Looking like kid seeing a disabled person for the first time he stared at the screen. He slowly lifted his dark and slightly molten gauntlet clicking against the text that read Talents.
System:
Talents: A list of achievements or traits that give the user passive buffs and bonuses
Clicking a few times on the screen a list of his talents was displayed with their unique effects, his mind wander ing to the endless possibilities that w

[Dungeon Lord: You are the Master of your Dungeon, increase your power to prevent your home getting ransacked: increases your own power by 10 while in your own domain]
Caleb’s eyes would visibly bulge at what obscene stuff he was reading, especially the scaling talent it was just too good… but there it stood again Boss monster? Yeah, he was now officially no longer a human reduced to a Boss, for probably other players to conquer and defeat over and over again. Where there even others in this world…yes there must be. And what the fuck was even a Dungeon and why was he in charge of this godforsaken thing. The more he read the more he noticed that he lacked knowledge above everything. Fuck he didn’t even know how to use his skills. Dismissing his talents for now he sunk back deep in thought about the dilemma he was currently in. looking at his status again he sighed. Already brooding what to do now. Deciding to just try shit out he could come up with, he started imagining the skills trying to activate them, but it got him nowhere. Not having any other ideas, he shouted in his mind “summon weapon” and out of thin air a great sword with molten edges appeared in his hand, the leather of the handle was slightly burned. It was big overly so at least over 160 centimeters. Only now Caleb noticed his enormous height at at least 2 and a half meters, it made him wonder how he hadn’t noticed the height difference. The sword felt heavy in his grip, and it was. Standing up awkwardly he held it in both of his hands shaking a bit, this body was just too new for him…to different from his former one. Giving it a few clumsy swings he noticed how the sword only with minimal effort and the great sword left deep gashes in the floor, making him now realize how much power he possessed.
The next few Hours spend Caleb adjusting to his body practicing movements and slashes, to say the least all of the interior inside the throne room suffered greatly. Looking like a werewolf went on a rampage. He didn’t break a sweat or even felt drained as Caleb continued to train. He even tried out skills like sprint, heavy strike or even scorch, all of them were simple enough Sprint made him move faster, heavy strike empowered his next attack, and scorch had a rather interesting effect. It made a spike of flame emerge from his hand piercing everything in its path. The more he tried out and played around with his skills the more he felt his body growing weaker, opening his status he cursed to himself “Shit”
[Mana: 65/2400]
A few hours of training and he was already squeezed dry? As he looked at the screen, the skills he hadn’t tried looked very enticing but he also saw the exit in the corner of his vision, it beckoned him closer urging him to explore this new foreign territory. Couldn’t hurt to look its not like he can try new skills without mana.
