Having figured it out, he realized that he must be using sound to see him.
It’s the only possible reason he could see him despite the fog surrounding them.
And old people are normally not people to mess with.
How do I, right! I have the skill for this!
Opening his status window, he sees his Sonic Roar skill, which will allow him to release a powerful sonic wave by screaming.
Just what he needed.
He looked around, seeing that old man still moving around by using his Heat Vision.
Hopefully he doesn’t see me.
He decides to inhale slowly while still being cut, covering his face so the old man doesn’t see what he’s trying.
The old man had seen that he was covering his face, suspicious of what he was intending.
He cut his head off, interrupting his intention to use the skill.
Damn it! Did he figure it out?
Greedon realized that he had to do this fast, he needed to trick the old ogre.
He rushed out of the fog, running into the city, attempting to try something.
The old ogre followed him from behind, having deactivated his skill for an unknown reason.
The old ogre felt tired, however.
This confused him. While he had done a lot of moving, he was already used to moving for so long that something like this shouldn’t have tired him out.
This was because of Greedon using his [Feeling What You Are Feeling] skill.
This allowed him to give this ogre the sensation of tiredness.
He took this chance to use his [Spider Silk] skill to restrain his feet, hoping to stall him long enough.
He also releases black fog around the area just in case he is wrong, and he has a third eye or something to compensate if he ever loses his hearing.
He begins slowly inhaling and once he finishes his skill is ready to activate.
[Skill Activated: Sonic Roar]
He screams with as much force as he can which dissolves the fog in the area and causes the old ogre to cover his ears.
He didn’t intend for that to happen, but it is what it is.
[Skill Activated: Spider Silk]
He releases one web from his finger and pulls the ogre closer.
He tries consuming the old ogre quickly so he can move on and return to the forest, but it fails, and he has his face cut.
The ogre desperately tries to defend itself against him, now completely blinded by its lack of hearing.
As a result, he uses his regular dagger and swings at the old man.
Cutting the old ogre on the cheek, the old ogre cuts the web and jumps back in pain, its head ringing with immense pain.
His headache was very severe and felt like he was about to fall over.
“Stupid human.”
The ogre tried to keep his balance, but it was very hard too.
He kept staggering in multiple directions.
Greedon runs towards the ogre, his regular and poison dagger in hand.
The old man notices him just in time and dodges his strikes except for a small cut to the thigh.
The poison had been inflicted, and it was perfect.
Now he could use the same strategy he did before, let the poison slowly kill them as he fights him.
The ogre cuts his head off and he uses his body to put his head back and jump back.
He put his regular dagger back in his storage, only keeping his poison dagger in hand.
He wanted to have his other hand free so that he could also do grabs.
I’m doing good so far, the training is really kicking in.
Greedon had found a fool-proof way to get better at fighting, while not optimal, was helping so far.
He simply had to imagine that this was a game, nothing else.
If he treated this like a typical fight like he did in the game, it made him more confident to do certain moves without worrying about the fact this is real life.
Of course, he couldn’t use all the moves he knew but some were fine.
The headache and ringing subsided, finally relieving the pain the ogre felt.
The ogre was now getting himself ready to attack.
He now knew this kid had a counter to him, so he had to attack sparingly and quickly.
He couldn’t let this kid trick him like that again.
[Skill Activated: LightSpeed]
The man moves quickly behind him and stabs him in the chest.
He feels no pain in the chest but feels a slight ache of pain in his head.
The ogre had stabbed him in the middle of the chest to destroy his core. Slimes usually have cores that keep them together with the exception of God Slimes.
However, the ogre was shocked that he didn’t melt away, not realizing this kid was a god slime and Greedon used this chance to try and stab him.
He prepares to use his skill to dodge out of the way, but Greedon won’t allow him.

[Skill Activated: Sonic Roar]
The ogre begins bleeding from his ears this time and becomes blind as a result.
It covers its ears, once again hearing the ringing.
Taking this chance, he runs to the ogre, intending to take his life with one strike.
[SLICE]
Greedon’s hands are cut off by an unknown assailant.
It was so sudden, he didn’t see anyone at that moment.
He looked around, wondering who it was that came to this old ogre's rescue.
Seeing his hands fall to the ground, he quickly turns around and moves his arms towards his hands so they can reattach.
He also picks up his Poison Fang that he dropped.
Turning back, he sees another ogre with the old man.
She was a purple ogre with white long hair.
She wore a black suit with a white shirt and black heels.
In her hand, she had a cleaver that was wrapped in cloth.
[Skill Activated: Great Healing]
The man’s ears are healed, and he gets back up.
He’s healed! Come on!
“You okay old man?”
“I am fine. Just a minor setback.”
“Yeah, a minor setback is losing your hearing. Sure.”
Turning around, the female ogre prepared her weapon, pointing it towards him.
While this makes things more complicated, more skills to gain.
His stomach growled, his hunger being his biggest driving force.
He wanted to get their skills bad in hopes of calming his hunter down which had been bothering him for some time.
Back with Ningetsu and Dulward, they stand ready to fight Dough.
Ningetsu moves first, due to her speed, she can reach him rather quickly.
Dough transforms his hands into stone and blocks the strikes with great precision.
Dough, despite seeming lazy, is actually a skillful warrior, having experience in martial arts.
He manages to reflect all of Ningetsu’s attacks with ease.
Taking advantage of the distraction, Dulward rushes forward, swinging his axe at him with immense force.
[Skill Activated: Rock Hard]
His entire body becomes stone, and the attacks are bounced back.
Transforming back, he punches Ningetsu in the face and punches Dulward in the stomach.
Ningetsu uses this chance to create a rack from her sleeve and uses it to hit Dough in the face.
This tips him off balance a little, having not expected a literal rack to come out of someone's sleeve.
Taking this chance, he manages to get a solid hit on Dough using his Axe, however, it barely cuts through him since the swing came from below, meaning less force.
Damn it, we can’t kill him like this, I need an incredibly powerful swing if I want to kill him.
Dulward wondered how he could generate enough force, not believing a simple high swing would be enough either.
Ningetsu was thinking of the same thing. But she came to the conclusion that he should use the trees to gain elevation and jump down.
She dodges Dough’s punches and grabs her father, pulling him back.
“W-what happened?”
“Father, you need to get to the top of one of the trees, it will give you enough force to break him. I’ll try to trick him to transform his entire body into stone.”
“Are you sure you can?”
“I have an idea. Go up a nearby tree and I will lure him near you.”
“-very well.”
Dulward runs behind a large tree, leaving Ningetsu to fight Dough.
“Why did he leave? Is he offering you to me?”
“....no.”
She doesn’t intend to reveal anything, prepared to buy as much time as needed for her father to get to the top.
She created 2 swords and rushed in to attack.
Dough ran to her as well, transforming his hands to stone.
A fast battle erupted between the two.
Both sides are keeping pressure on each other, not letting the other recover.
While Dough was curious on what the old man was doing, he mainly kept his focus on eating this girl.
It was unfortunate for him that he couldn't eat her in front of him, that would have been fun for him.
Ningetsu knew she couldn't beat him no matter what she did, she just had to stall long enough and keep him close to the tree her father was climbing up.
Her entire plan was to trap him in a narrow path using large racks she releases from her sleeves. She would have them all filled with different weapons and would have them drop, causing him to back up near the tree and transform his whole body to protect himself.
She would then give her father the signal to drop, using the momentum from falling, he would swing his axe and destroy him while completely stone.
A plan with some flaws.
She had to make sure that it wasn't obvious that she was keeping him in a specific location and the timing needing to be perfect and unexpected.
