Chase stood on the ship's deck, captivated by the sight before him. Towering overhead were six magnificent masts, a striking blend of the familiar and the bizarre. Three of the masts resembled the traditional structures he had encountered on ships back on Earth, their tall, elegant forms adorned with billowing white sails. But it was the other three masts that truly drew his attention. They were half the height of their counterparts and topped with enormous, shimmering crystals that pulsated with an inner light.
The crystals glowed with a mesmerizing spectrum of colors, but it was the brilliant blue fmes that danced around them that truly entranced him. These ethereal fires flickered and swirled like the burners of a hot air balloon, casting a warm, otherworldly glow that illuminated the entire deck. The fmes seemed to weave through the sails, infusing them with life and energy, propelling the ship forward as if it were gliding effortlessly across the water.
Chase marveled at this extraordinary fusion of magic and technology. It was astonishing to think that such an innovative means of movement could harness the power of these radiant crystals. His curiosity sparked; he couldn't help but imagine the secrets behind their creation, yearning for a glimpse into the process that brought this breathtaking vessel to life.
"See, Master! When you channel your mana into one of the catalyst masts, the mana crystal on top will activate. Then, it will send out a burst of mana to the other masts, causing them to ignite their mana crystals as well. Once they are ignited, the fmes will start to flow through the sails, and the ship will move," Eve expined, her cover shining with excitement.
"Huh... So, you are telling me someone can create crystals that will correspond to different elements?" Chase asked as he looked up at the crystals.
"That's correct, Master. They can be tempered with other elements to get different effects, such as creating ice crystals, which will lower the temperature and cause the surrounding area to have a cool breeze. Fire crystals will raise the temperature and provide a hot breeze, and water crystals will create a light rain that will be refreshing and rejuvenating. This one looks like it was made to create heated air, which allows the ship to move without resistance or ck of wind," Eve replied, gesturing to the glowing crystal.
"Wow, they can actually manipute the temperature, alter weather conditions, and even adjust wind resistance around here! I’ve never witnessed anything like this before," Chase excimed, his eyes wide with wonder. A bittersweet grin crept across his face as memories swept in. "You know, if I had access to this technology back on Earth, I could’ve taken clean energy to a whole new level." The dream of diving into the green energy sector back home flickered in his mind, a chance lost but still sparking a flicker of hope.
'Well... Maybe if I survive this whole ordeal with the Demon Lords crap, I will be able to create something here on Asmodai. Haah... But that's so down the line. Right now, I need to focus on surviving long enough to find a nice pce to live and start making a living. Maybe even start a family if I can find a wife... But who in their right mind would want to marry a demon lord... Dammit... Whatever! I have Eve, and Lai, and Lilith right now. They seem like they could be my friends at worst,' Chase thought as his gaze shifted back to the massive sails.
"So, is there a way I can get one of these crystals?"
The floating Grimoire looked at Chase and said, "You are a Demon Lord, so in time, yes. It's an ability you have to unlock, but you should be able to manipute existing crystals into something else. However, creating a brand-new one will take more time. You need a master artisan's help. Someone who's been doing this kind of work for years and years, and maybe a few lucky breaks here and there."
Chase let out a heavy sigh, his gaze drifting as he contempted the journey ahead. "I suppose this will turn out to be more of a long-term goal than I initially imagined. But hey, at least there's still a glimmer of hope. I mean, what’s the point of living in a magical world if you can’t wield magic, right?" He fshed a grateful smile at Eve. "Thanks for the insight. I’ll definitely keep that in mind." With that, he turned his attention to the empty deck of the ship.
As Chase meticulously examined the ship, a presence lingered at the edge of his awareness. Lilith, hidden in the shadows, watched him intently from a distance. Their eyes met for a fleeting moment, and just like that, she averted her gaze, the thrill of being caught sparking a rush of adrenaline in her veins.
"Hmm... Lilith, what are you doing all the way over there?" Chase called out, noticing the little girl's presence.
Lilith's eyes went wide, a faint blush coloring her cheeks as she realized that Chase caught her staring at him. "N-Nothing, Master Chase! I-I was making sure that everything was okay and there wasn't any danger!" she blurted out.
"Well, you're in luck because it looks like everything is under control," Chase replied with a pyful smirk.
Liith's tail pyfully swished back and forth, her golden eyes sparkling with curiosity. "I'm gd, Master Chase. I-I'll look over here to make sure everything is alright."
Chase's lips curled into a knowing smile, his intuition guiding him to where Lilith was looking. "Are you sure that's all?"
Lilith nodded sheepishly, her gaze fixed on the ground. She didn't know why she was being shy around her master. 'U-Uh, oh no. He must have noticed me watching him. D-Do I confess my feelings? N-No, no! I-I don't want to trouble him or make him uncomfortable. B-But he let me hug him earlier, but he didn't let me kiss him on the lips. H-He probably made that excuse because he's not into me like that. W-What if he hates me for having feelings for him? No! H-He would never hate me, right? I-I need to clear my head before I do or say something I regret...'
Lilith turned and walked to the other side of the ship to understand her feelings, and maybe if she is lucky, she'll have some time alone with him ter tonight.
"What is up with her?" Eve asked. Of all the Masters she has served, none of their succubi minions acted anything like Lai or Lilith.
"Maybe she's nervous. She has gotten what she wanted, but maybe shier than expected, or maybe she feels a little awkward," Chase replied, trying to read Lilith's behavior.
"Pfft! Or she's a bit of a stalker and has a crush on you," Eve joked, ughing at her own joke.
Chase just stared bnkly at her for a few seconds, not finding it funny.
"I don't think that is the case. I saw bits and pieces of her memories... I am not sure if this is one hundred percent true, but I think she was born trans. At least, that's the impression I got. Her parents, especially her father, didn't approve of her choices and kicked her out. She had nowhere to go, and she got taken in by assassins."
Eve shook her "head" again, "Or she is confused because she was born a boy and is still transitioning and has an identity crisis."
"Yeah, no. That's not the case. It is just how she feels," Chase replied, not wanting to entertain the thought any further.
"Well, she was giving you Love Points left and right... So, maybe she does have a thing for you? You're a guy, and she is a girl now. So, you should just fuck her already and get it over with. It's frustrating for me to watch."
"Yeah, no," Chase said, his voice ft. "I will not force myself onto her, and I will leave it up to her after I talk to Lai about it. I have no intentions of being a creep."
"Fine," Eve grumbled, a bit annoyed by his response.
Chase smirked and was about to tease Eve again when the doors to the hull burst open in a loud crash, nearly startling him.
Lai's frantic voice rang out as she carried Fiona in her arms, "Chase! We need your help!... She's dying!"
A sense of dread welled up within him as he saw a young woman in Lai's arms, her face a ghostly white, and the blood coming out of her mouth. Without hesitation, Chase ran to Lai, a surge of adrenaline rushing through his veins. His heart raced with urgency, and every muscle tensed with anticipation.
Lilith heard the commotion and came over, her golden eyes brimming with concern. She stayed back and watched from afar, unsure of what to do.
"What happened to her?" Chase asked as he and Lai gently id Fiona on the deck, the weight of the moment pressing upon them like a heavy shroud.
"S-She was poisoned with Silent Night petals. It causes internal bleeding. You need to turn her into a minion and get the poison out of her," Lai expined, her voice trembling.
Eve flew in and stared at Fiona's body, "Oh? She'll be fine if you have the antidote."
Lai gazed pleadingly at the floating Grimoire, her eyes filled with unspoken desperation, silently conveying that they were utterly out of options. This was the first time Eve had seen such a distressed look on a succubus's face, and it made her feel bad for making that statement.
"I-I can heal her," Chase interjected, his mind racing to find a solution. "If I change her species like what I did for Lai, then the poison will go away and not kill her. Right, Eve!? If she becomes a disciple, she'll survive, right?!"
"Um? Yes... But you can only use Corruption Level 2 on her," Eve replied, a bit concerned that her Master would try and pull off a stunt like that.
"What? Why!?" Chase asked, confused.
"It's because there's a cooldown on Level 1. You can only use it twice every twelve hours. So, you'll need to wait. You'll have to spend any Lust Points to corrupt her into a level 2 creature," Eve answered.
"Oh... Crap," Chase cursed, his eyes scanning the horizon as he racked his brain for an alternative solution.
"Wait!? You corrupted someone else!?" Lai excimed, a mix of excitement and shock surging through her. She looked around the deck and spotted a woman she had never seen before.
Lilith's first instinct was to hide behind the mast. She was standing by, but she stood her ground and walked over to Lai and her master, her face red and her heart pounding wildly in her chest.
"D-Don't mind me," she said, trying to py it cool.
'W-What the hell am I doing? N-No! I need to be strong, or Master Chase might lose his faith in me!' Lilith thought as she fought back her shyness.
Lai couldn't help but feel a surge of jealousy rise within her as her eyes fell upon the beautiful blue-haired woman who stood before her. 'N-Not now! I need to get Fiona's situation resolved, and I will talk to Chase ter about this other woman,' Lai thought, forcing herself to remain focused.
"LAILA!? Where did you—" Marilyn ran onto the deck of the ship and stopped in pce when her eyes nded on Chase. His Purple eyes were striking, his face handsome, his beautiful jet-bck hair was tied up into a ponytail, and his form-fitting clothing highlighted his muscur physique. Lastly, his two breathtaking horns curved up and back. A wave of emotions flooded through her as she stared at the demon who was supposed to have killed her and the rest of her vilge, and it wasn't fear but curiosity. 'Is he a demon lord?!' Marilyn thought, her heart racing.
Grace was hot on Marilyn's heels, and when she reached the deck, she couldn't help but be mesmerized by the gorgeous man kneeling down next to Fiona, the light of the moon reflecting off his smooth, dark horns. 'Holy shit! D-Don't look straight into his eyes, Grace! O-Or he'll steal your soul!' Grace thought, trying her best not to stare at Chase's mesmerizing purple orbs.
Chase ignored Marilyn and Grace, his gaze focused solely on Fiona's ailing form.
"Alright, I'll pay whatever L.P. to save her," Chase said, his voice firm.
The Grimoire turned its pages with an eerie grace, pausing to hover ominously over the unconscious Fiona as if sensing the weight of the moment. It awaited Chase's command, the air thick with anticipation and unspoken power.
With a deep breath, Chase pced his hands gently on Fiona's chest, ready to channel his mana into her. "Alright, here goes nothing," he murmured, determination flickering in his eyes as he began to infuse her body with his energy. He could feel the connection between Fiona and him as he closed his eyes.
< Fiona Swift, daughter of a merchant, has been accepted as a new disciple. Do you wish to corrupt her soul to chaotic evil? >
'No! God dammit! Is this going to be a thing every time I do this? Fuck!' Chase thought.
< Fiona Swift's soul will be untaintable. >
Fiona started moaning as the mana was affecting her, her body twitching.
< Do you wish to change her name? >
'No... Keep her name... Please...' Chase responded to the prompt, his heart racing with anticipation.
< Confirmed, Master. Lv.2 corruption skill will commence once you choose a Race: Vamprire or Werewolf? >
The robotic voice started sounding more like Eve the longer Chase heard it.
'Ah, crap... Um... I guess I'll choose Vampire. It's going to suck hiding her from the sun, but hopefully, there is a way to reverse this?' Chase thought, not sure what he was getting himself into.
< Confirmed, Master. Starting initial transformation. Please wait for what stage of Vampire she will become. >
Suddenly, Fiona started to moan more, and she started to arch her back as the mana was flowing through her. Her skin was still pale, but it started looking healthier, and her brown hair was starting to look silky. Her breasts rose and fell, growing slightly, and her thighs seemed thicker and stronger. Her eyeshes started to grow, and her lips parted, letting out a soft gasp. Her pink dress was pulled tighter around her, showing off her new, more curvaceous body.
"W-what is going on?!" Marilyn asked as she saw the changes taking pce.
"I-I don't know. But she looks like she's feeling better," Lai responded as she was staring at Fiona.
Lilith tilted her head as she watched two sharp canines poking out of Fiona's mouth. She knew what a vampire looked like, and her Master was changing this woman into a vampire. "Maybe Master Chase is turning her into a vampire? I heard stories about them before."
"A vampire?! Isn't that a type of undead?" Marilyn said as she took a step back from Fiona.
"They are not undead. They are alive and have a beating heart and blood. It's their underlings that are undead. That being Zombies, skeletons, and the like," Eve said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"The book talks?" Marilyn gasped, her eyes widening in shock.
Lai sighed, "Yes. But don't let her snarky comments get to you, Marilyn."
Chase was too focused on channeling his mana into Fiona to talk to everyone.
Fiona's body was done changing into a base vampire, and if he was willing to spend L.P., then she could become a much more powerful vampire.
< Corruption Level 2 has been used. Corrupting her into a basic vampire is complete. Options to evolve her into a stronger Vampire are now avaible. >
< The common vampire race has four types: the blood-sucking type, the shapeshifter type, the psychic type, and the hypnotic type. Which one do you want her to become? >
Chase did a double-take as he read the text. He hadn’t expected such a wide range of choices, which made him wonder, 'Are there uncommon or rare types of vampires? Also, are the four types listed the only common ones?'
< That is correct. There are uncommon and rare types of vampires, but Lust Points are required to unlock them. >
'Well, show me the other uncommon and rare types,' Chase thought, hoping it would show him the options.
< The Uncommon Vampire race list is: >
<- The Shadow Walker. The ability to turn into a shadow. Able to move through the shadows. Cost: 500 L.P. >
<- The Sun Walker. Able to walk in the sunlight without a problem. Cost: 2000 L.P. >
<- The Siren. Able to use siren songs to draw in and charm targets from a distance. Cost: 2500 L.P. >
'Hmm. I like the Sun Walker, but I like to see the Rare list first before I make my final decision,' Chase thought, not wanting to miss out on a better choice for Fiona.
< The Rare Vampire race list is: >
<- The Pure. An extremely rare type of vampire. It has the abilities of all the other common and uncommon types, as well as having blood magic, except they are weak to sunlight. Cost: 10,000 L.P. >
<- The Progenitor. An even rarer type of vampire. They have the ability to use Dark magic. They can turn others into basic vampires and can turn into bats or mist. Can control and create lesser undead. Cost: 20,000 L.P. >
'Hmm.... Is there something rarer?... Is there a rarest type of vampire? I wonder what does it cost?' Chase thought.
All of a sudden, he heard an error sound, and the message < Error: Unable to prevent Demon King Corruption list from this Demon Lord. Chase Saunders has access to the following Demon King perks. >
'Huh!?'
Before Chase could say anything else, a prompt appeared:
< Access to the Mythical Vampire is allowed. >
< Hear me, Demon K—Lord. This vampire is of myth and legend. It's called the White Vampire. Legend has it that this vampire who can go into the sunlight and walk amongst the day doesn't need to suck out the life force of the living unless they want to. They have white wings and can transform into a white bat. They have the ability to use Holy and Dark magic, as well as heal lesser vampires of their curse and make the undead dead again. Their strength and speed can grow equal to an arch-demon. They are the ultimate vampire and are considered a legend within the vampire cns. No real one has existed before on Asmodai unless The Demon K—~—LORD commands. Cost: 100,000 L.P. >
'Damn... That's a lot of L.P.... How many Love Points do I have right now?'
< 4,051 Love Points. >
'And it costs 100,000 Lust Points to make her a White Vampire, correct?'
< Correct. But this type of vampire should only be given to the most loyal of disciples. For they should earn the right to receive a blessing from the Demon K—~Lord. >
Chase rolled his eyes while they were closed, 'Yeah, that's a load of crap. I'll spend a thousand Love Points for her to become a White type of vampire. At least we don't have to worry about her needing blood or avoiding the sun. Also, if what you said is true, and it is a legend and no one has seen one, then we don't have to worry about someone recognizing her.'
< Are you sure you wish to spend 1000 Love Points? YES or NO >
'Yes!'
As soon as the word Yes appeared in his mind, a bright fsh of light enveloped Fiona. She was floating above the ground as she had beautiful white bat-like wings ripping out of her pink dress. Her body had matured a bit, her breasts were a little rger, and her ass had gotten a little thicker.
Fiona's long brown hair grew out into beautiful snow-white hair, and her nails grew sharp, and her canines became shorter with smaller points.
As she gasped in shock, the delicate fabric of her pink dress tore apart, sending threads flying and revealing her newly enhanced bust, making her perky B-cup breasts turn into a fuller set of D-cup breasts.
As the brilliant light gradually faded as Fiona floated gracefully toward the weathered wooden deck below. The other women stood in stunned silence, their jaws dropping in disbelief at the breathtaking transformation unfolding before their eyes.
"Whoa!" Lai excimed, her eyes wide as she took in the stunning wings that had sprouted from Fiona's back.
"Amazing," breathed Lilith, completely captivated by the ethereal sight.
"What on earth is happening?" Marilyn murmured, her voice a mix of confusion and wonder.
From a distance, Grace watched intently, her heart racing, as the extraordinary scene pyed out before her.
< 1000 L.P. has been deducted from your bance. You now have 3,051 L.P. >
< Fiona Swift Lv.1 >
