Chapter 1 – Iam Receives a Mission

Beautiful women with incredible curves embraced Iam, enveloping him with the warmth of their bodies.

"Would you like to enjoy a moment alone with us?"

But before the scene could continue, everything around him distorted. The women's faces deformed and melted before him, and from within them appeared a horrible monster that tried to attack him. But before it could make contact with his body, he was teleported to a peaceful terrain, with grass and beautiful animals as far as the eye could see.

It was clear that he was dreaming. The st thing he remembered was ying in his king-sized bed and the maid reading him a bedtime story, so there was no doubt.

Understanding the advantages of knowing one's dreaming, Iam thought of the best thing he could imagine to make appear. But all he could think of was the day-to-day of his real life.

Not even five years had passed since he was reborn in this world, and everything was perfect. After a life of misery and struggle, being born as an aristocrat with a completely made life was a dream come true. The best part was that his father fulfilled his every whim. He couldn't ask for a better life.

He imagined his typical day: being awakened by his beautiful half-human, half-Siberian husky maid, eating with her an exquisite breakfast cooked by the kingdom's best chefs, then lunch, followed by second, third, and fourth lunch, ending the day with his three dinners. The food in this world was simply incredible, and Iam loved to eat. Meats, desserts, and even vegetables, everything was finger-licking good.

But his incredible dream, which was nothing more than reminiscing about how incredible his life was, was suddenly interrupted by a strong static, as if a television signal had been lost. Everything around him turned into a jungle of gray and white. Then, from within the static appeared the figure of a woman with an incredible body, worthy of a supermodel. Elements of her face couldn't be distinguished, but her voice was quite clear.

"Iam Fate. Now that you're finally at an age to retain memories, I must tell you the reason why I made you reborn in this world," she spoke with a serenity that made you take everything she said seriously. "After seeing your past life, I knew you were the one for this task. You see, this world has lived a period of peace for centuries, but that peace was nothing more than an illusory dream. Soon the Demon King will awaken from his long sleep and will make this world fall back into misery. I need you to train as much as possible so that you can defeat the Demon King as soon as he awakens. According to my calcutions, this should be once you turn 16. That is your mission in this world, I hope you hear my message."

The goddess's figure turned into the static. Then, after a few seconds, the static disappeared, and Iam found himself again in front of an immense pte of food. The goddess's revetion was shocking, but the pleasure of eating that dish overcame any kind of feeling, so he sank his teeth into the food and enjoyed it just like all the food in this world.

That was Iam's call to adventure, his purpose in life, the very reason he was reborn in that fantasy world. But the goddess didn't consider something when she revealed herself in the dream. It's that 89% of people forget all significant details of their dreams, and Iam was part of that percentage.

Iam woke up, spped his cheeks to wake himself up, and cpped a couple of times, causing his maid Halfa, a Siberian husky girl, to arrive. She was his personal maid, and despite being only 3 years older than him, she had been taking care of him since he was born. She, like Iam, was a food lover and enjoyed eating with him all the dishes prepared by the castle chef.

That day, after his second breakfast, he went out with Halfa to the castle garden. Despite being a garden, it was rger than modern-day mansions. Halfa always made him go out with her to help her train and exercise; Halfa loved to move. Iam always reluctantly agreed, spending most of the time lying on the grass, watching as she trained alone.

That day he did exactly that. But the surprise came when he saw written in the clouds in the sky: Remember to defeat the Demon King, Iam.

  "Halfa, do you see that?"

She looked to where her master pointed and noticed the letters in the sky.

"Young master, I can't believe it..."

"It's amazing. A cloud in the sky says my name."

And thus, excited, Iam called his parents and all the mansion workers, who were astonished to see the prince's name in one of the clouds, completely ignoring the rest of the message. That day was commemorated as the occasion when the heavens affirmed Iam as the worthy heir to the throne and a proof of his divine right to be king.

After a few days, an existential doubt flooded Iam, and he had to answer it whatever the form. He searched the kingdom for someone capable of answering him and found a pythoness. Someone who received help from the gods or spirits to answer any doubt.

"Lady pythoness," he said, blushing and with a trembling voice, "I need to know if I will ever marry and have children someday."

Indeed, that was the existential doubt in Iam's mind. His previous life had ended without even having a girlfriend, so he needed to know if he would fulfill at least that desire in this new life.

The pythoness thought for a moment about Iam's question.

"Alright, young man. I will seek help among the gods and spirits to find the answer to your problem." The pythoness then took out a bunch of objects impossible to describe and began to babble incoherently. Her first understandable words were:

"Oh, yes. I'm receiving a message. And it's very powerful!"

  "What does it say?"

The pythoness seemed to enter a trance, with her eyes completely white, then spoke with a tone of voice completely different from the one she had previously:

"Stupid, pay attention to my messages. Start training, because the Demon King will awaken in 11 years."

"What does that have to do with romance?!"

Infuriated with the pythoness's reading, Iam left the pce without even paying. He was fuming just thinking about it.

He asks about romance, and the woman not only insults him but tells him something completely unreted to his question. It must have been one of those typical pythoness strategies to catch you off guard and make you believe she could really see the future. Iam was close to becoming one of those people who fall for such obvious deceptions, so he could only thank himself for realizing it in time.

Although the experience was a waste of time, he did understand something. He had to stop worrying about romance; it was clear that nothing good would come from thinking about it. So he decided to simply dedicate himself to eating. And so 10 years passed. Given that, as expected, he grew fatter and fatter. That's what happens when you eat a lot and don't exercise. At first, it was just a few extra pounds, then about ten, then about 100. He was about to reach 400 pounds when she appeared.

He saw her as he was leaving the dining room after enjoying his first lunch of the day. A little girl, with a body that appeared to have just started going to school. She wore a school uniform and a bright pink backpack. Around her, the castle guards and maids were lying on the floor, unconscious.

Upon seeing Iam, she approached him slowly, with heavy steps, and a very unfriendly face. That face you make when you see a mortal enemy.

"Who are you? And how dare you enter my castle without permission?"

Iam said as he approached her. The girl only wrinkled her face more. She reached where Iam was and grabbed his neck with one hand, forcing his face close to hers with inconceivable strength for such a small girl.

"Who am I? I'm the goddess, you fool," she brought her face even closer, squeezing her hand on his neck enough for him to feel her nails digging into his skin, and giving him some difficulty breathing. "You need to train right now, because the Demon King will awaken in a year."

"What are you saying?! And why didn't you warn me before?"
