Chapter 270: No Resistance
"Whenever you want to leave, you may do so," Qin Xiao said calmly. "But have you decided on which world you wish to go to?"
Bibi Dong smiled faintly. "As long as it’s not Douluo Continent, anywhere will do."
"As for the other worlds, they’re all the same to me—unfamiliar."
"Then we’ll proceed as before, like when we sent away the God of Kindness and the God of Evil. I’ll handle the heavy lifting; the rest is left to the miracle."
"Sure."
Bibi Dong had no objections. As soon as she finished speaking, her body began to crack like porcein, breaking apart into countless fragments until she dissolved into a cloud of dust.
What remained was a small soul core, about the size of a fist—her essence.
"I suddenly feel so much lighter,"
The soul form of Bibi Dong smiled, her face finally reflecting relief.
"Would you consider reincarnating on Douluo Continent? I can arrange a perfect and happy life for you," Qin Xiao offered.
"Forget it,"
Bibi Dong’s voice was resolute. "Reincarnating on that filthy nd of Douluo Continent? I’d rather cease to exist entirely."
Hearing her firm refusal, Qin Xiao didn’t press further and simply reminded her, "Then please close your eyes. It’s time to leave."
Bibi Dong complied, shutting her eyes without saying another word.
Qin Xiao then threw her into a swirling vortex of shifting worlds. The scenes of different realms blurred as they spun and shifted endlessly. Even Qin Xiao lost track of which world she ended up in.
"Good luck,"
He murmured quietly to himself, then waved his hand to erase the shimmering curtain that connected countless dimensions.
Footsteps echoed in the great hall.
Dressed in her divine purple armor, Qian Renxue slowly approached Qin Xiao, stopping in front of him.
"Why didn’t you show yourself to bid her farewell?" Qin Xiao asked, tilting his head toward Qian Renxue.
In truth, Qian Renxue had arrived in the temple earlier, aided by Qin Xiao, before Bibi Dong destroyed her physical form.
However, she chose to hide herself, unwilling to make her presence known.
"I respected her decision,"
Qian Renxue said, her expression complicated. "And I believe this was the best choice for her. I didn’t want to alter her resolve."
Qin Xiao nodded slightly and didn’t press the matter further.
"My husband, now that things on Douluo Continent are resolved, what do you pn to do next?" Qian Renxue asked curiously.
"Things on Douluo Continent may be settled," Qin Xiao replied, "but the matters of the God Realm are far from over."
"What problems remain in the God Realm?" Qian Renxue asked, puzzled. "Haven’t the gods of the Destruction Pantheon already submitted to you?"
"To be precise, there are still two enemies. If they aren’t dealt with, I’ll remain uneasy."
"Two enemies?"
Qian Renxue was stunned. "Who could possibly have survived this long? Who dares oppose you and is still alive?"
Qin Xiao chuckled. "Do you still remember the God of Asura and the Sea God?"
"Asura God and Sea God? Weren’t they the foundation of your rise to God King?"
Qian Renxue muttered, her pupils suddenly constricting. "Husband, are you talking about the previous Asura God and Sea God?"
Qin Xiao nodded. "Yes. Ever since I arrived in the God Realm, I haven’t detected any trace of them. I suspect those two cunning old foxes saw the writing on the wall. They probably realized I would eventually come for them and went into hiding early on."
"But they’ve lost their divine positions. At best, their strength is now at the level of divine officials. How could they pose a threat?"
"You can’t be too certain about anything," Qin Xiao said with a slight frown. "There’s always the chance of unexpected developments. Besides, they’ve been gods for countless years and held high positions for just as long. It’s almost certain they know secrets we don’t. Who knows what contingencies they might have in pce?"
Hearing this, Qian Renxue furrowed her brows deeply, her heart filling with unease.
"Ha, I’m just specuting," Qin Xiao said, his tone lightening. "Maybe those two already committed suicide and reincarnated. If that’s the case, I’ll let them go."
His expression turned serious again. "But after we leave here, I’ll have the gods of the Destruction Pantheon and Gu Yuena search for their whereabouts. Alive or dead, we need answers. Even if they’ve reincarnated, I won’t destroy them—but I must know where they’ve gone."
In the God Realm, beneath an unnamed mountain, a dark cave served as a hidden refuge.
"Asura, how long are we going to hide like this?"
Sea God Poseidon grumbled in frustration. "We’re like rats burrowed underground, unable to show our faces. This kind of existence is suffocating. Honestly, I’d rather commit suicide and reincarnate than live like this."
Across from him sat the former Asura God.
Hearing Poseidon’s constant compints, Asura’s expression behind his mask darkened.
"Shut up."
"If you want to commit suicide and reincarnate, go ahead. I won’t stop you!"
"I’m already consumed with anger seeing Qin Xiao living so freely. Even if it costs my life, I can’t let him have the st ugh."
Asura’s voice was icy, carrying a deep-seated hatred.
Poseidon sneered, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "Big words for someone in our position. Look at us—what can we even do?
"I’m no longer a principal god, and you’re no longer a lofty God King. We’re mere divine officials now. How can we fight someone like Qin Xiao? That man could annihite us with a single breath!"
This wasn’t Poseidon belittling himself but an honest assessment of reality. When it came to Qin Xiao, one word dominated his thoughts: helpless.
Asura grunted, his frustration evident. "Don’t rush to despair. Didn’t the gods send representatives to question Qin Xiao? Given his bloodthirsty and ruthless nature, he’ll undoubtedly csh with them. That might give us the opportunity we need."
"Those spineless fools?" Poseidon scoffed, his eyes filled with disdain. "I wouldn’t count on them. They’re softer than jelly. Calling them fence-sitters is giving them too much credit."
"I disagree," Asura countered. "The God of Destruction was generous to his subordinates. I believe they won’t easily betray him."
"Let’s see how it pys out, then," Poseidon replied, his tone dismissive.
"Ha, it won’t be long now. We’ll have an answer soon enough. Just wait and see," Asura said with growing conviction.
But just as the words left his mouth, a streak of light tore through the void and entered the cave.
Both Asura and Poseidon turned their gazes toward it. For a moment, they froze in pce before expressions of surprise and excitement spread across their faces.
"Haha, that was quick! The news is already here," Asura excimed.
"Poseidon, prepare to admit you were wrong."
Asura intercepted the light and activated it through a special method.
A voice resonated throughout the cave:
"Qin Xiao has returned to the God Realm. The gods of the Destruction Pantheon have submitted.
Note: No resistance. No resistance. No resistance!"
