Ven rushed towards his enemy, preparing an epic punch.
But Con-Crush was faster. Con-Crush cleanly dodged the hit and then quickly struck Ven’s jaw with a fist turned into a hard block of concrete stone. The impact echoed like a hammer hitting iron.
Staggered and dazed, Ven swung again, but then Con-Crush unleashed a savage barrage. Concrete fists pummeled Ven’s face, ribs, and gut in a brutal rhythm. Each strike felt like a wrecking ball slamming into his body.
Whenever Ven tried to throw a counterpunch, Con-Crush would beat him to it. If Ven didn’t have super strength, he’d probably already be out for the count. He just was not used to brawling—Con-Crush probably has been in several street fights. Still, he couldn’t just back down.
Struggling to remain on his feet, Ven tried to attack Con-Crush once more, but Con-Crush made a slab of concrete suddenly emerge from the ground to protect him. Suddenly, the villain quickly launched the concrete wall into Ven, completely knocking him to the ground several feet back.
“This isn’t looking good. Let’s go get Mom and get out of here,” Asha said to Tamu.
“Stay where you are right now,” Con-Crush said fiercely and sternly. The action made the sisters remain frozen in horror.
Ven writhed in pain on the ground as he struggled to get back on his feet. His legs were wobbling with fear and uncertainty.
“Just shut up already!” Ven yelled out loud to his own anxiety as he started sprinting.
He engaged in combat with Con-Crush again. Ven swung his sloppy fists towards Con-Crush, but his enemy made a concrete wall block the hit again. When he sent it launching again, Ven dodged it that time.
Ven yelled as he sent another punch, yet again, Con-Crush made another wall. That time, the wall shattered upon the impact of Ven’s punch. His enemy repeatedly made more walls, each one getting absolutely destroyed by Ven’s punches.
“Enough with the walls!” yelled Ven as he increased the speed of his punches. After destroying numerous walls, he was able to finally strike Con-Crush in the face. He then repeatedly swung several right and left hooks, making Con-Crush rattle like a rag doll.
Ven charged up one final brutal impact, as Con-Crush remained stunned. He punched the villain as hard as he could. Con-Crush turned his entire face into concrete before the punch landed, which shielded him from most of the impact.
The punch was so powerful, that a shockwave was sent through the entire atmosphere. The few streets lights on the impoverished street began to flicker on and off.
“…Is it over now?” asked Tamu, amazed by the previous impact.
Con-Crush was still standing, but appeared unbalanced and deeply hurt. Ven had his hands on his knees panting heavily. It seemed he was out of steam already.
“Already tired are you?” Con-Crush said as he slowly fixed his posture.
Ven simply stared at his foe with one eye closed as he continued to pant heavily. How many brutal punches would it take to bring this behemoth down?
Con-Crush unleashed a battle cry as he leapt into the air and struck the ground. The streets became even more damaged as a result, concrete was being condense in the nearby area. He then a shot a gigantic wave of concrete at Ven the moment he landed. The force was like that of a train.

The attack was so vicious, that it sent Ven flying into a nearby house. The collision practically destroyed the house, and crushed Ven’s ribs.
“Yo, what the hell is that!?” a Man shouted, he was watching television in his living room, before his house was destroyed. The wall was completed shattered.
Ven felt himself fade in and out of consciousness, as he listened to the ringing in his ears. He rose to his feet, before quickly falling back to the ground. Was this what being a superhero entailed Suffering so much from brutal fights with ruthless villains? All the agony he felt was overwhelming, he could hardly keep himself from getting teary eyed. After all of the suffering in hospital rooms, he just didn’t want to feel pain like that again. He felt like a fool for ignoring how painful fighting criminals could be. He just wanted to be like the heroes he saw on television and receive the glory and honor, he didn’t think about the crazy battles. Of course fighting criminals would be dangerous, why didn’t he accept that sooner? His rapid breathing was practically yelling to him that his worried heart would stop beating soon (though that was probably a lie).
His mother didn’t want him to be a superhero… and for good reason too. She knew the suffering… and the misery it would bring him. Just what would she think of him now? A foolish kid who walked straight to his death on his first day of being a _superhero?_ But to be fair, nobody’s first day was probably as bad as his. He almost laughed as the despair took over his watery eyes.
He titled his head up as he watched Con-Crush slowly walk towards his location.
_This guy’s gonna kill me!_ How on earth did he even end up fighting such a lion? Was it Tamu’s fault? If she didn’t steal from the Cinder Fangs, would he have been spared from such agony? Was he really going to die a defeated loser?
_Calm down_ Ven told himself. It wasn’t over yet. There was still a chance he could win. He could see how damaged Con-Crush was when he got closer. Perhaps he was siking himself out. He got on his knees after wiping his face from both tears and blood, while still panting heavily.
“It’s Con-Crush!” the man said as he ran away from his own house.
Con-Crush picked up Ven by his neck as he angrily stared at Ven with disgust. Ven closed his eyes as he gasped for air.
“You’re gonna pay,” he threatened. It appeared Con-Crush was furious at Ven for causing him an injury.
Ven opened his eyes and kicked Con-Crush as hard as he could. The hit made Con-Crush gasp with pain as he stopped choking Ven. Ven then held his own neck and began coughing.
Furious, Con-Crush picked up Ven again and quickly threw him towards the old television box.
Fighting through the pain, Ven picked up the television and threw it at Con-Crush as hard as he could. Con-Crush blocked it with a wall on concrete, before Ven dashed towards him, striking him into the next house over.
Ven quickly ran after Con-Crush, who was now on the floor. If he could knock him out quickly, then he could end things and survive, he and Tamu’s family. He jumped into the air with a superpowered jump and prepared to strike his foe while he lied hurt on the ground.
Before he got to him, Con-Crush dodged and grabbed Ven’s shirt and began hitting him against the walls of the house, each hit breaking the walls brutally. He then body slammed him on the ground. He turned two huge fist into huge slabs on concrete and hit down hard on Ven’s chest. Ven screamed in pain, and appeared out of the count. His eyes were now closed shut. His heart began palpitating like crazy after the attack.
“It’s over,” Con-Crush said calmly.
Holding his chest, Ven suddenly emerged and docked Con-Crush in the nose, shattering the bone completely. He then took his hand off his chest and punched Con-Crush over and over again, as he yelled with determination. He felt each punch getting weaker and weaker, but he did not stop swinging until Con-Crush finally stopped moving.
“Now it’s over,” said Ven as he panted heavily. He got on his knees. And continued breathing hard.
He held his tired arm with one hand, and his chest with the other, as he prepared to finally return to Tamu and Asha. If the fight was finally over then perhaps he could finally find some sort of solace. He slowly walked away while telling himself he couldn’t believe he didn’t die, and be hoped his body would still recover from the beating he received. Perhaps now was the time to finally celebrate.
Without warning, Con-Crush appeared behind Ven and knocked two hard concrete slabs against both temples of his head. The impact immediately incapacitated Ven. He was now gone.
“Never turn your back on your enemy,” said Con-Crush, believing that he just murdered Ven.
Ven appeared lifeless and motionless. He failed.
