As Ty and his two older siblings were heading down the street with Ty’s new robotic cat – Glitchy, Rascal Riddle and his creator Dashing Dwight both noticed the robotic feline literally glitching out.

  “Oh, my circuits!” cried Rascal as he gazed upon the robotic feline, “That cat is buggier than a video game on early release!”

  “I believe you’re right Rascal” said Dashing Dwight.

  “What do you two jerks want?” asked Dee.

  Rascal wanted to fiddle with Glitchy, he could tell the robotic feline would need a few “funky” tunes.

  “There’s no way I’m handing over my robotic cat to you” said Ty as he grabbed Glitchy.

  Rascal knew he couldn’t do a thing to Glitchy for the moment, he attempted trying to get Glitchy to come over to him.

  “Come on” said Rascal, “would you prefer a robot master over a human?”

  Glitchy paused for a moment, it began to scan Rascal and soon let out a hissing sound.

  “Does that answer your question?” asked Dave.

  Rascal no doubt was frustrated that he couldn’t get to the robotic cat.

  “Why don’t we get our own robotic animal?” asked Dashing Dwight.

  “Because I cannot tolerate seeing that spiky blonde teen enjoy life,” said Rascal.

  Rascal always wanted to try to pull a fast one on Ty, ever since his camping trip to Grimnir’s Cave. Though he framed Ty for ruining a painting of Grimnir, he was ultimately found to be the main culprit instead. Rascal had never let that moment down.

  “Well, perhaps we should study this first, before we jump in” suggested Dashing Dwight.

  Rascal huffed; he reluctantly accepted his creator’s suggestion. The robot could see that there would be others who wouldn’t appreciate Glitchy for who it was. Perhaps a little sabotage was in order. After that encounter with Rascal Riddle, Ty and his two older siblings arrived at the robotics center run by Dr. Kanon Minase, a Japanese-American veterinarian doctor who specialized in robotic animals.

  “Ah, a new patient I will be ready in a moment” said Dr. Kanon.

  Dr. Kanon had to put away the other robotic gadgets that he was working, he soon had the rest of the workbench to see Ty’s new robotic pet cat Glitchy.

  “Glitchy has been acting odd since I got him,” said Ty.

  “M-M-Meow” said Glitchy.

  Dr. Kanon soon began to place on a special headset that allowed him to examine the robotic feline more carefully. He could see that the robotic feline was an older model of a very specialized stealth robotic cat.

  “Oh, you are very lucky to have picked this robotic model” said Dr. Kanon.

  “What do you mean by that?” asked Dee.

  “The model of this feline used to be with the military for special spy operations” said Dr. Kanon.

  “Wait, Glitchy is a stealth cat but he’s totally glitchy” added Ty.

  “Hmm, perhaps due to wear and tear, however I can offer you a firmware upgrade to your robotic feline to make him more stable” said Dr. Kanon.

  “What happens if we don’t upgrade him?” asked Dave.

  “Well, your robotic feline might behave more unpredictably than let’s say a normal organic cat would” laughed Dr. Kanon.

  Dr. Kanon could see a firmware upgrade was necessary, but the price tag was very expensive.

  “We’d have to run this with our parents” said Dave as he checked the would-be invoice.

  “Well, when you do agree to it, I will be here waiting” said Dr. Kanon.

  The Knight siblings soon headed off with Glitchy.
