KOW Chapter 25 The Five-Element Scroll

The room fell into a brief silence before Qin Lin suddenly spoke.

"From my observations today, it seems Uchiha Madara has an irreconcible conflict with Senju Hashirama and his faction."

"The way those people looked at Uchiha Madara was filled with coldness and disdain." Qin Yi nodded.

"You're correct, but such conflicts between major powers are not something we can meddle with right now."

"Don't overthink it. Let's focus on developing ourselves first."

Though he said this, Qin Yi knew the battle between these two was inevitable. And once their csh ended, the first great war of the Shinobi world would erupt.

"This alliance with Konoha is a win-win situation. We gain seeds, food, supplies, and training opportunities. For Konoha, they gain free combat support."

"If you think about it, neither side loses out." Staring silently at the door, Qin Yi's gaze grew profound.

Senju Hashirama was undoubtedly generous and kind. His willingness to distribute Tailed Beasts to other nations without conditions proved it. But while Hashirama could afford to be magnanimous, Qin Yi couldn't afford to let his guard down.

Leading 6,000 ordinary people in this foreign world was an unimaginable pressure.

Every decision Qin Yi made required countless deliberations before he acted or spoke.

At that moment, he faintly understood why leaders in his previous world often spoke slowly and steadily. Every word they uttered carried weight, carefully considered before it left their mouths.

For a nation, a single statement could outweigh gold.

And such weighty words naturally required countless deliberations before being spoken.

Later that evening, Senju Tobirama and Sarutobi Hiruzen came to visit.

Qin Yi sat cross-legged across a small table from Senju Tobirama, while Sarutobi Hiruzen poured tea for them.

"I'm a bit surprised by your visit, Tobirama Sama," Qin Yi remarked with a slight smile, gncing at Sarutobi Hiruzen.

He never expected that one day the Third Hokage would serve him tea. If he lived to tell the tale, this alone would be a story worth boasting about for a lifetime.

"Haha, I've come to offer my apologies," Senju Tobirama said courteously.

As he spoke, he gnced at Gandalf, who stood behind Qin Yi. According to his brother Hashirama, this seemingly ordinary old man possessed terrifying power.

"We sincerely apologize for Uchiha Madara's rudeness earlier today."

"No need for apologies, Tobirama Sama," Qin Yi interjected. "I understand.""After all, decisions like these involve entire vilges and cannot be decided by the Hokage-sama alone."

Hearing Qin Yi's response, Senju Tobirama sighed in relief.

"It's good that you understand. That will set my brother and me at ease."

With the apology out of the way, the atmosphere between the two sides became much more rexed.

They chatted for about an hour, during which Senju Tobirama subtly and skillfully probed into Qin Yi's origins and motives. It was clear that the expnations provided earlier in the Hokage's office hadn't convinced this sharp Second Hokage.

Of course, Qin Yi's answers remained airtight, with no fws or slip-ups.

Watching this unfold silently from behind, the two generals and Gandalf were amazed at their young king's maturity. His composure was worlds apart from the rash demeanor he had dispyed earlier, making him seem nothing like a seventeen-year-old boy.

As he prepared to leave, Senju Tobirama pulled out a scroll from his robes and gently pced it in front of Qin Yi.

"This is a token of Konoha's goodwill. I believe it will be useful to you."

"However, I hope you will not reveal it carelessly."

With that, Senju Tobirama gave Qin Yi a meaningful look before turning and leaving.

Sarutobi Hiruzen smiled, bowed politely to the group, and then quickly took his leave.

Once the two had departed, the gazes of Qin Yi and his three companions immediately fell upon the scroll on the table.

  "This is...?"

  "A Ninjutsu scroll!"

The two generals exchanged astonished looks as they spoke.

"As expected of Konoha Vilge. It truly possesses the grace of a great nation," Gandalf remarked with admiration.

"This is both an apology for the events earlier and a demonstration of the vilge's strength," Qin Yi said indifferently.

Sometimes, giving could also serve as a form of deterrence. In the ancient Chinese empires, during their peak, they would offer treasures to neighboring states. This wasn't a sign of fear or an attempt to win favor but a clear message:

What you ck is trivial to us.

This, too, was a manifestation of strength.

In truth, since arriving in this otherworld, Qin Yi and his group had increasingly found themselves entangled in events between nations. Such exchanges of interests, cshes of national prestige, and shows of power would become a recurring theme.

Earlier in the day, Qin Yi's decision to confront Uchiha Madara and Gandalf's deliberate act of shattering the ground carried the same underlying message.

Picking up the scroll gently, Qin Yi began to slowly unroll it.

Generals Qin Lin and Yang Yi leaned in to take a closer look. Qin Yi did not mind their curiosity.

In the King's World, he was the ultimate authority, holding power over all else. His very existence dictated the rise and fall of his kingdom.

If he were to perish, the nation would colpse into nothingness. But if he grew stronger, the kingdom's civilization and prosperity would flourish exponentially.

Thus, among his soldiers and citizens, Qin Yi had no fear of betrayal or malicious intent. For the people of this nation, their only hope for a better life was to see their king thrive.

Such was the rule of the King's World.

"Fire, Earth, Lightning, Water, Wind— all five elements are included!"

Scanning through the contents, Qin Yi's expression showed visible shock.

He hadn't expected Konoha to be so generous. Yet, recalling Senju Tobirama's parting gnce, he began to understand.

"This scroll is likely a private decision by the Senju brothers. The Konoha cns would never agree to leak Ninjutsu, even if it's just basic C-rank techniques."

"This gesture is clearly an intentional move to train a subordinate force to aid Konoha!"

Qin Yi's mind raced as his gaze grew sharper. Gradually, a faint smile crept onto his face.

"But there's one thing you seem to have overlooked."

"Ninjutsu didn't exist in the first pce. It was created and developed over time."

"With these foundational scrolls and my talents as a King, do you think I won't be able to develop new Ninjutsu on my own?"
