Chapter 7: Uchiha Ruri

"My name is Shimizu Miketsuki. I like studying ninjutsu. I dislike unexpected things. My dream is to protect my peaceful life."

After finishing his self-introduction in a standard, composed manner, Miketsuki sat down.

"So cool..." a girl in css whispered.

It wasn’t surprising. In the world of Naruto, where the average life expectancy didn’t even hit forty, kids matured fast. Besides, Miketsuki’s current life had blessed him with truly good looks—even he enjoyed looking at himself. Why else would he keep a mirror stashed in his bedside drawer?

Unbothered by the smitten whispers, Miketsuki turned his gaze out the window. Of course, he had the legendary second-to-st seat by the window in the back row—the sacred homend of kings and protagonists.

But what caught his attention wasn’t the seat’s narrative prestige—it was the blur of green sprinting around the training field.

Trailing behind that figure was a fpping banner with bold words: “Complete 500 ps to be accepted into the academy!”

That had to be Might Guy. And the rger green spandex-cd figure next to him? Likely Might Duy, his father.

According to canon, the Third Hokage was probably spying on the new student orientation right now. He’d eventually witness Guy’s relentless determination and, despite Guy not originally being on the acceptance list, move him into the pool of backup candidates.

It’s hard to say whether Guy’s ter deep respect for Hiruzen came, at least partially, from this early act of recognition.

Still, once school let out, Miketsuki thought he should go say a few words to cheer on that father-son duo. Duy could wait, but young Guy? Miketsuki remembered that, at this age, he still cared a lot about how others saw him.

Miketsuki had always liked Guy’s character in his previous life. Maybe if the younger Guy had even one peer who acknowledged him early on, it might help him find his ninja path a little faster.

“My name is Shimizu—no wait, I’m Nohara Rin. I like cooking. There’s nothing I particurly dislike. My dream is to become a ninja like Lady Tsunade.”

‘What the heck did I just say?’ Rin sat down quickly, cheeks flushing pink from the slip-up. Her mind had been stuck on Miketsuki’s intro: "I dislike unexpected things." What did he mean by that? She'd been so caught up in the thought that her own intro went off the rails.

‘Ahh, I hope Miketsuki doesn’t think I’m weird…’ Rin, still just a girl who hadn’t become a proper ninja yet, couldn’t help but care deeply about how others saw her.

In truth, most people didn’t even notice her blunder—including Miketsuki himself. His attention was still glued to the two green beasts sprinting their souls out on the training ground.

Self-introductions were nearly done when Miketsuki suddenly felt a focused gaze lock onto him. It wasn’t Rin—his body didn’t react to her like this.

Using the full 360-degree perception of his Six Eyes, he tracked the source of the stare.

A girl with long bck hair.

Judging by her clothes, she was from the Uchiha cn. As expected of the Uchihas—blessed with ridiculously good genes. Long, silky, bck hair. The very image of an anime fan’s ideal “cool girl.” Back in his previous life, half the internet would've been calling her “wife” on sight.

She withdrew her gaze just as it became her turn to speak.

“My name is Uchiha Ruri. I like getting stronger. I hate the weak. My dream is to become someone like the First Hokage.”

Even her voice was the fwless tone of a model student.

Miketsuki felt an almost instinctive urge to stand up and salute—no, no, what he had to do was keep an eye on this Uchiha Ruri.

Konoha’s ninja academy didn’t have a particurly heavy curriculum, and school let out early in the afternoon. For most kids from ninja cns, school was more about networking—finding reliable companions and bonding with other cn heirs.

They’d spend most of their real training time after school learning their family’s secret jutsu. The academy didn’t want to interfere with that.

As for the civilian-born students who genuinely wanted to learn all they could from school… well, tough luck.

This was the shinobi world. The gap between cn-born and commoner ninjas was immense. Without some kind of miraculous encounter, most civilians could hope for a chunin rank at best.

Only a rare few ever broke through that ceiling—like Namikaze Minato. Or Shimizu Kenjin.

Miketsuki and Rin left the cssroom together. Kakashi had gone to help Obito get his enrollment notice.

Outside the school, 5-year-old Guy was devastated. He’d failed to complete the 500 ps and was starting to doubt if he was even cut out to be a ninja.

His father, Might Duy, spoke to him about the true meaning of self-discipline. Under the setting sun, father and son held each other and wept—an epic, emotional portrait straight out of a historical drama.

“It’s like watching a samurai epic,” Miketsuki muttered. “Let’s go, Rin.”

“…Are they really going to be okay?” Rin didn’t get it, but she respected the passion.

“It’s just their way of expressing feelings.” Seeing the disbelief on her face, Miketsuki offered a quick expnation.

Still, as they passed the two of them, Miketsuki stopped and turned toward Guy.

“I saw how hard you worked out there on the field. One day, you will become an excellent ninja. Keep it up.” And with that, he quickly walked away.

He had to move fast—if he gave them even a second longer, those two might’ve pulled him into a teary group hug, singing about youth and perseverance. Not worth the risk.

Rin also offered Guy a few words of encouragement before skipping to catch up with Miketsuki.

Behind them, Guy stared bnkly, then looked up at his father. “Dad… they weren’t mocking me just now… They were… encouraging me!!”

  “That’s right, Guy!!”

Realizing it, Guy shouted his thanks at their backs with all the power in his little lungs.

After walking together for a while, Miketsuki and Rin said goodbye and went their separate ways.

Back home, Miketsuki opened his system interface.

[Host: Shimizu Miketsuk[Skills: Chakra Extraction Technique, Transcription Seal – Eternity of Heaven (single-use), Rasengan, Fire Style: Fme Bullet, Lightning Style: Earth Surge, Shadow Clone Jutsu, Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu][Wish Reward: Eyes of the Heavens – Six Eyes][Mail: No new messages]

For someone who’d only just entered the ninja academy, this panel was straight-up luxurious—thanks rgely to the Six Eyes’ absurd chakra control abilities.

The more Miketsuki practiced from the ninjutsu scrolls left behind by Kenjin, the more he realized just how monstrous this so-called “extreme precision chakra control” really was.

His natural chakra attributes were Fire, Lightning, and Wind. Kenjin had only had Fire and the ter-acquired Lightning, so Miketsuki could only use his scrolls for reference in those two.

Ever since he’d obtained the Six Eyes through a wish st year, his strength had grown significantly in just a year of training.

  Especially in ninjutsu.

Take the Shadow Clone and Rasengan, for example—he barely needed to train. He mastered them on the first try. The Shuriken Shadow Clone technique shared the same basic formu, and he picked that up just as easily with a few adjustments.

Most of his focus, though, had gone into researching Lightning-style chakra’s nature and form transformation. His goal? To develop a technique simir to the Lightning Release Armor used by the Third Raikage of the Hidden Cloud.

Everyone knew most ninjas in this world were gss cannons. Miketsuki craved that kind of defensive technique.

But tely, his research had hit a bottleneck. Without the Raikage’s forged-by-a-lifetime-of-battle physique, the process of adapting to Lightning chakra stimution was painfully slow.

This made him realize that even with the aid of the Six Eyes, developing advanced ninjutsu was no easy task. For the first time, he genuinely admired research-obsessed geniuses like Orochimaru and Tobirama Senju.
