9:22 AM, Akizo Tonamiya. I opened my eyes to see Iroha, still sleeping, lying on my chest. It seemed that we shifted in our sleep. I slowly got up and observed the empty ranger hospital room around me. This pce is so familiar to me that I can pretty much remember every single piece of tech in here. Iroha awoke not too long after I got up. "What time is it?" she murmured, "Just about 9:30, but more importantly, does your hand still hurt?". "Not much anymore, I might need a bandage change though". "I can do that for you", I took her bandages off and slowly put on the new ones. Iroha winced once I tied the loose ends together and let go. "We should head back to the apartment. Suma is probably going to be getting hungry. I told her to order something, but she likely didn't".

  9:28 AM, Akizo Suma. Tona told me that he would be with Ira while she was at the ranger hospital. I bet those two had loads of fun while alone. This ranger work is starting to take a toll on them, it seems as though they are having to fight tougher beasts as time goes on, "I hope this won't lead to another incident". *Diiing Dooong*, the doorbell rang, but I wasn't expecting any visitors. I ran to check who it was, peering out the window, *disappointed* "Oh" [they should have stayed out for a while]. "Tona! Ira!" I yipped. Quickly opening the door and helping them inside, I was starting to worry you wouldn't come back (lie). "I would never leave my annoyingly intelligent sister alone". Heh, but you did. "Ira, how's your hand doing?", "Oh, it's fine now, Toma did an excellent job refreshing my bandages and reminding me to take pain killers. I still can't use it to fight, but I can use it for everyday chores now". She returned to her futon located in Tona's room, "How about you, ex-cripple boy?". "I'll pretend you didn't call me that, I'm perfectly fine, though, thanks for asking". "Did you have fun?", "What do you mean fun?? It was a damn hospital trip, what are you expecting!". "Well, you know, things like-" "cut it off, or my ears are going to need a hospital trip". He seems extra protective today, I'd better keep quiet, I guess.

  9:35 AM, Inisha Iroha. I can hear Toma and Suma conversing in the other room, It's pretty intriguing seeing how well a 10-year-old can hold such a conversation. I wonder who raised this girl, and come to think of it, what was the reason for her moving in? My thoughts swirled around in my head while the sound of Toma's clock continued to tick.. Living here with Toma has made me realize just how much I rely on him. I can't imagine a time alone anymore, my old life has pretty much faded away with this one taking over. "I love him sooo much," I accidentally said aloud in my excitement. Suma was there in the doorway, "heh heh" she smirked and faded into the next room, "WAAAIIT!" I shouted. *fading* "Don't worry, I won't tell Tona anything, and don't worry, he's in the kitchen making breakfast, he didn't hear anything". I slid deep into my futon, blushing. Why does Suma have to be everywhere at once?? I'm never living this down, am I? I drifted asleep in my embarrassment and thought. "Hey, Iroha, wake up, it's time to eat". "AAAH!!" Seeing Toma jolt me awake, not forgetting what happened not even 20 minutes ago. "Something wrong?", "No, but I do need another bandage change". "Sure thing", he got up and went over to the closet to find the bandages, which I think he mispced. I got up and greeted Suma with a stare, she deviously smiled back. Looking over to the right, ooo, Pancakes!!, I love these. I sat down as fast as I could. I held out my hand for Toma to treat my hand, the quick pain of bandage treatment was soothed by the smooth and powerful movements done by Toma, he must have had a lot of experience doing his own bandages after a lone battle. "There, you can eat now". "Thanks", I dug into my pancakes, they were delicious, amazing cooking done by none other than Toma himself, almost like our own personal cook. I hope I could eat this cooking forever, ... I got flustered just thinking that.

  10:10 AM, Akizo Tonamiya. Suma looks like she just won the Olympics; the taste of victory was pstered all over her face, but that's not what's important. While everyone else was eating I decided to research some new methods of fighting, this could hopefully lower the odds of Iroha hurting herself from overexertion and for ways to not get hurt so much in battle too, that'll keep her from having to worry so much about my health, not that I mind but making people worry just isn't my thing. "Hey Tona, did you both manage to forget something important? "No... oh". We were supposed to be at school today, but here we were, eating and scking off. "Iroha, we need to go... NOW, we're already over 2 hours te!!" "Right behind you!". "Heugh, we just made it, History should be starting soon". "Why are you two te today?", "Well, Mr. Dohme, uh, we were on a date that accidentally went on longer than expected," a spur-of-the-moment excuse. "Well ok, you youngsters should really pay attention to the time more, go on now, back to css". "A date?", "well it made the most sense and had him pretty much completely overlook being te, so it's a win". "I guess you're right" she blushed.

  4:35 PM. The school bell rang, and everybody in the css dispersed. On the way home, Iroha looked a bit daydreamier than usual. I'll leave her to her imagination for now. Suma let us in as per usual and set out a personal Suma cooked meal, "I attempted to make something today, I dare say I outdid myself". "You sure did." "Why does Ira look so happy right now?" "I haven't a clue". "Is that so? I'll believe you I guess". As we were eating, I started to look into Suma's question. I thought back, oh, I remembered the office visit. Does she really like the excuse that much? I mean I guess I would probably feel simir if I were in her shoes. [He was right on the mark].

  9:56 PM. *Whisper* "Hey Toma, can I visit you for a little?" "Sure," she walked over to the bed and sat on the side, the mattress bending under the awkward weight. "Thanks for taking care of my burns, I really appreciate it". "No problem, I would do pretty much anything to help my partner". "I have been enjoying life so much more after we partnered up, it made me realize just how much I was missing before." She y her head on my p, the soft touch over the bnket sent shivers through my body. *snore* Without meaning to, she had fallen asleep not long after, I decided to keep her there as I would likely risk waking her up if I moved. "I feel the same, I could stay like this forever". Not too long after, I had fallen asleep with her. It was quiet, the two rangers were sound asleep, Iroha on top of Tonamiya's lower body after accidentally falling asleep, and Tonamiya calmly dreaming in the world of thought. The night went on and ended just as fast.

  Bonus: Just for crification, this is my first ever romance-reted piece and my 5th ever Novel, my first and longest Novel to actually have a pn to finish. I thank all those who have helped fix grammatical errors along the way, like my sister or my friends. If the writing remains my favorite pastime activity, or if this does well, I might make a sequel one day to fill in the void after finishing a series. That's the power of being the author, if you like the story, you can literally just make more. Roughly 23 more chapters remain until I pn to end this, though, so no need to think about that just yet.
