At least, I just wanted to go on a vacation.
Nine hours of work, three hours of overtime, and only two days off each month.
It’s not like Sis Redfield worked for some shady company running a modern-day svery operation.
He just thought the overtime pay they offered was too tempting to pass up.
Besides, it’s not like he had anything better to do after work.
No girlfriend, no family, no real friends.
Sometimes, he'd scroll through social media at night—watching cute cat videos or creepy folk horror monologues—but it wasn’t like he actually enjoyed it.
Maybe somewhere like Hawaii or Bali.
But then again, Sis figured those pces would be too loud. He wasn’t fond of crowds, anyway.
How about Kyoto?
Some quiet rural town, where he could rest his overworked mind.
Or maybe the Jeju Isnds?
If no one was really watching, he might even enjoy swimming.
The traffic light turned green, and a chorus of angry honks behind him snapped him back to reality.
Sis hurriedly stepped on the gas and drove forward.
That’s when he saw it—the blinding headlights from the left.
From the opposite side of the intersection, a bus was speeding toward him, completely out of control.
In that split second, Sis tried to think of the best way to survive.
SCREEECH
But… it was too te.
At the very least, I just wanted to go on a vacation
