Chapter 2: Communication is too difficult (slightly modified)
"Hello! (The third tone of the word "hao".) Hi, holla, ohaio, sawatdee ka, yassas...” Mo Yier muttered to herself, rummaging through her brain for various foreign languages that she had picked up, although many were not pronounced correctly. However, the man was still just as perplexed, not understanding a single word.
“!@#!@¥@#%¥……%&%……”
What the heck is this place where birds don't even poop?
Two people stood under two trees, chattering loudly for several minutes, finally confirming that they couldn't communicate, Mo Yi rubbed her short hair in frustration.
The man has started to get impatient and loudly shouted a few times in the distance, still unclear what he was saying.
However, a child of about ten years old ran over quickly. The man threw the blood-covered wild boar in front of the child and jumped onto the tree where Mo Yi was. He looked at Mo Yi with a confused and puzzled gaze.
Mo Yu's heart skipped a beat, language was not an option, so she used gestures instead. She pointed to herself and then to the tree below. The man tilted his head for two seconds before scooping her up like a little chicken and sliding down the tree.
"Wow, I'm down! That's great!" Mo Yuer excitedly shouted. The man smiled, revealing a row of white teeth, seemingly pleased that he had guessed the thoughts of the person in front of him.
Mo Ye'er only now discovered that the man wrapped in leopard skin was very good-looking, with long hair draped over his shoulders, seemingly not having been combed for a long time, and somewhat disheveled. His physique was very tall and strong, at least 185cm or more, making Mo Ye'er, who was only 168cm, look much smaller in front of him. His facial features were very wild, with deep eyes, high nose bridge, similar to Westerners. His lips were a bit thin, and his skin had a wheat color.
As expected, one of the laws of time-traveling is that you will inevitably meet a handsome guy. Great!
As she checked out the handsome guy, Mo Yi'er didn't forget to thank him, but the man just couldn't understand. He gave her a friendly smile and turned around to carry the wild boar with the little kid who had appeared, walking away.
"Hey! Don't go!" Seeing them leave, Mo Yi'er felt a wave of panic. She didn't know where this place was or the language they spoke, she had to survive at least!
The man turned around, furrowed his brow, and muttered a few words to the little kid in a low voice. The little kid also babbled something back, then pointed at Mo Yi'er, and again pointed at the sky!
Two people looked at Mo Yi'er again, their eyes filled with complexity.
Then, the man carried a wild boar that was several times bigger than him, and the little boy carried a Mori child who was twice as big as him and started running wildly.
Mo Yu'er cried out in alarm on her small shoulders: "What's going on? What are you doing?"
Two people, one big and one small, were running wildly, with no one paying attention to Mo Yi's loud cries. Mo Yi could only be shocked and terrified as a ten-year-old child carried her on his back, thinking that this world was too crazy - men could carry wild boars, children could carry women, and she wondered if she had entered a fantasy world.
The feeling of being carried on someone's shoulders was unbearable. Mo Yi'er only felt her stomach churning, strongly suppressing the urge to vomit.
The two people ran so fast that Mo Yi'er was amazed, although not as fast as a galloping horse, but also comparable to the speed of a bicycle. After about half an hour, they finally stopped and shouted loudly: "Ah...... un... un! Ah...... un... un!"
Soon, someone responded to them with a cheerful voice. The little kid put Mo Yi'er down, a pair of shiny eyes looked at her, somewhat curious, but more inquiring.
Mo Yu'er looked at the scene in front of her, it was a mountain, not very high, with bare big rocks on top, occasionally with a few crooked neck small trees and weeds. A large group of people rushed out from the cave at the foot of the mountain, their faces filled with bright smiles, welcoming back the men who had gone hunting. Moreover, they were all wrapped in fur like the men, the only difference being the variety of fur!
What shocked Mo Yi'er even more was that several of the women were also wearing revealing tops, with impressively sized chests bouncing up and down as they ran. This made Mo Yi'er, who barely had a B-cup herself, feel utterly inadequate. She subconsciously glanced at her own chest, which was covered by her nightgown, and felt like there wasn't much difference.
"!!!...……%&%……” People rushed over, and a wave of unintelligible chatter erupted. Mo Yi'er felt her mind go blank, the situation seemed too unexpected for her. They spoke while looking at Mo Yi'er, it was clear they were discussing her, their eyes filled with confusion, puzzlement, curiosity, but Mo Yi'er saw no disgust!
Mo Yi'er suddenly realized something - these people wearing animal hides and living in caves seemed to be... primitive men!
This realization stirred up a storm in Mo Yi'er's heart, and the noble queen, princess, and wealthy landlady all distanced themselves from her, leaving only a group of primitive people with upper bodies exposed and lower bodies wrapped in animal hides fluttering before her eyes. Heaven! Are you playing tricks on me?
Mo Yu'er followed the man into the cave in a daze, where women were already roasting food inside. The aroma of meat wafting through the air brought Mo Yu'er back to reality. The cave was very large, big enough to accommodate all the tribespeople. Some women were processing the wild boar that the men had brought back, their movements quick and skilled. The smell of blood mixed with the aroma of meat created a complex and strange flavor. Several elderly elders sat deep in the cave, the man walked up to them and said something, while their eyes stared straight at Mo Yu'er, making her scalp feel numb.
After a burst of chatter, the eyes of these elders looking at Mo Yi'er became scorching hot. They then called over the little kid who carried Mo Yi'er back and had another round of chatter. Finally, they sat in a circle and whispered to each other in hushed tones, as if afraid that Mo Yi'er would hear them. This went on for quite a while before they all revealed friendly smiles towards Mo Yi'er.
Mo Yi'er didn't think much of it and just thought that the man was introducing himself, while she herself seemed to be accepted by these people.
The meat had been distributed well, and the man gave a share to all the people in the cave, including Mo Yi'er. She didn't decline and ate the roasted meat given by the man. After all, as the saying goes, "people are made of iron and food is made of steel". Then, she spent several hours digesting the reality, understanding her situation, and decided to live strongly. Although she knew that the road ahead would be difficult to walk, weren't all crossers like this? After going through countless hardships, they finally got the life they wanted! Mo Yi'er had never been a person who worried about things before they happened. As the saying goes, "life is like rape, if you can't resist it, then just enjoy it!" And being accepted by these people was already a blessing in disguise.
Although it was far from what she had imagined at first, Mo Yuer was a resilient little strong girl who would definitely work hard to get what she wanted, definitely!
