Boredom set in quickly after the first day. Luckily, I managed to have Chansey get me something to read and whaddaya know the hospital has books on Pokémon biology and that gets boring too. At least I know the names of the region and local Pokémon now. Apparently I'm In Alola, Mount Lanakila on Ula'Ula island specifically. If the lore I remember is right, that makes me a Faller, someone who fell through an Ultra-wormhole. Probably.
If that is true, then I'm going to be hunted by Ultra-beasts. Unless I want to stay indoors for the rest of my life, I'm going to need to become a Pokémon trainer, get as strong as the elite four or the local equivalent, and then I'll be able to travel. Hopefully I'm good at this. I have to be good at this. Forget long term goals like traveling or going home, I might die if I'm not good enough.

Learning should be my top priority. I wont have time to get good at everything, so I guess I'll have to specialize. I'm on Mount Lanakila, Victory Mountain. The end game if it was a game. The most common Pokémon around are Ice types. I wont go after the evolved forms so that leaves me with Vulpix, Sandshrew, Vanilite, Sneasel, Snorunt, and Castform. A full team all in one location.
Now I just need to pick a starter. Hopefully, I'm allowed to actually do this.
