Ms. Rachel did a good job expining this to me.
Turns out that an adventure is some type of freence position, where you hire someone from this guild to help with odd jobs, raging from gathering herbs, or helping a person get somewhere, or killing monsters.
All of the jobs get posted by others, like an alchemist buying herbs, or a nobel or merchant hiring someone to escort them, or the city hiring you to kill monsters. And they would pay a certain amount for this.
The guild also had a list of items they would always buy, things like monster parts, or something called a dungeon core were the best way to make money as an adventurer.
While being expined all of this, certain topics sparked information for me, like before it was brought up, I didn’t know what an alchemist was. But after it was used as an example, I knew it was a person who made potions using magic, or someone who changed one substance into another through magic.
It seemed that the more I heard things, the more I would remember information.
But I still only had surface level information, so thanks to Ms Rahcel telling me where this guild building was, I was able to find it.
Walking in, I found a strange pce. There were a bunch of other people, talking to each other, or looking at a wall with a bunch of posters on it, others at tables drinking something that I guessed was alcohol. And stly there was a group of people behind a counter.
From what Ms. Rachel told me, those people were the ones I needed to talk to, to become an adventurer.
Walking up to the receptionist, I started up a conversation.
“Welcome to Bck Hollow Adventures Guild, I have never seen you here before, how can I help you” the woman behind the counter asked me.
“Um, I want to register as an adventure… please” I say, somewhat shyly. It was strange, being in front of all of these people. And I could feel the others watching me, or at least I thought they were.
“Of course, I just need you to fill this out for me, to the best of your ability. If you need any help, Just ask” the woman said, handing me a sheet of paper.
Looking down at it, I am instantly lost.

It was a bunch of gibberish nonsense symbols I could not read.
Wait, could I ever read, this is the first time I was looking at written words.
Then, after looking at the paper for a few seconds, a simir situation from the previous day happened again.
[Passive Skill - Universal Reading Comprehension added the written nguage of the humans of Cardinal]
And with that sound in my head, I looked down again and could read the words on the page.
Name:
Css:
Magic:
Helpful skills:
Even with being able to read the paper, I can’t fill it out. I mean, I didn’t have a name I knew. What is a css? I know what magic is but I don’t know how to use it.
ANd what was a helpful skill?
Not wanting to tell someone that as much as I could read all of this, I had no clue how to answer any of it, I just sat at the table, not moving.

Tessa was a S tier adventurer, one of the strongest in the whole world. The adventure tiers did go above the S tier she had reached, but those who reached the SS tier were legendary figures, ones who had csses of the same tier.
That was the idea behind the adventure tiers, they were equal to the rank of the css of the adventure.
She was currently living in a town called Bck hollow. This was the border town of the Cardon Empire, the human nation closest to her homend, the elven forest.
She wanted the option to return home if she ever wanted to.
She was in fact an elf, or in specific, her species was that of a high elf, one of direct retion to the royalty of the elves.
She herself was not a royal, but was reted to one.
This distance from both the common people of the forest, but also the royalty is one of the reasons she left, but only a secondary one.
SHe didn’t like thinking of the main reason anymore, and that was almost half a century ago.
She was going in to the adventures guild today to see if there was any job worthy of her time, and if there wasn’t, she was going to head to a nearby dungeon to get some training in.
Walking into the now familiar building, she noticed something right away.
Tess constantly had a skill active for detection. This was to make sure, even in town, she was prepared for an ambush.
But walking into the adventures guild, she felt something completely off. Every person naturally has some amount of aura, thanks to the system naturally existing within every living person. Her skill could detect the slight magic that the system gave off, even from a baby.
But right away, she noticed that someone inside the guild had no aura, no magic, or none she could detect.
Instead, it was like they gave off an aura of nothingness, like the air around them was empty off anything to detect.
Tessa quickly moved through other detection skills. Heat detection found nothing, same with material perception, motion perception, danger perception. Quickly she moved to her st detection skill, space perception.
This was a skill obtained to see the truth of an area, outside of the effect of anything interference.
But even using that skill, this person did not appear.
As if they took up no space within the world.
But if she turned off all of those skills, she could see them. A young girl, no older than 18, in old ratty clothes. They had a sword on their waist, but it was old and broken.
And she made up her mind.
?
While I was just staring down at this paper, something strange happened.
Someone walked over to me and started talking.
“Um, hello” a woman said. Jumping when I hear this, I turn to see an elf standing behind me. She was ptinum blond and had clear blue eyes. Her hair was so long it almost reached her waist. Her clothes were nice, being a short purple dress with a detached sleeveless that covered her arms. Her legs were covered in bck tights and ankle boots And on her waist were two longswords, one red and the other blue.
“Hi?” I asked, confused on what she was doing.
“... I saw you looking confused over here and decided to offer you my help” she told me.
“Oh, that's not necessary” I said, quickly, hiding the bnk sheet and wanting her to leave so no one would know the truth.
“But… that sheet is completely empty, do you not know how to read?” she asked.
“I can read” I shoot back, “It's just… I don’t know any of this information” I say, extremely embarrassed.
“But, that's all personal information, right? How do you not know things like your name or css?”
“Because I don’t remember any of that. I don’t even know what a css is”
“Oh, well that's easily solved. You just have to access the status screen” she told me.
“Status screen?”
“Yep, everyone has one. It holds a description of yourself, like your css and level and your skills. With that, you can answer everything on the list”
“How do I open it?”
“Just think ‘status’ normally. Every person is born with the identification skill, and that is how you identify yourself.”
With this help, I think ‘status’, and I hear a voice in my head once more.
[Active Skill - God's Gaze has been reinitiated]
And a transparent screen appears in front of my face.
