Chapter 24: Lele

Chapter 24: Lele's Flying Storage Web

The two men first prepared gifts and then headed to Zhuang Wen's residence. On the way, Lin Xian made a phone call, mentioning that Zhang Jun knew about Hua Shen Yi. Zhuang Wen was in the middle of a meeting at his company when he heard Lin Xian's words and immediately stood up, saying loudly: "Lin Xian, are you certain?"

Lin Xian smiled and said: "I'm going with Zhang Junzheng now, you get ready, he wants to see Lele."

Zhuang's face was full of joy, and he said, "Great! We'll meet soon." He hung up the phone and let a manager continue to preside over the company, then hastily returned home. The people in the company were bewildered, wondering what big thing had happened that could make Zhuang so anxious?

Zhuang Wen's home is a three-story villa, with the Qing Shui River to the east and a park to the west, making for a very pleasant environment. The main gate has two large iron gates, and next to them are two small houses where the security guards live.

When the car arrived, a middle-aged man in blue uniform came out of the small house and asked. When Lin Xian reported her name, the middle-aged man who had received Zhuang Wen's instructions earlier hastily invited them to the courtyard.

At this time, another middle-aged man in a suit and tie, who looked like a butler, came over and personally led the two into the room.

Entering Zhuang Wen's home, Zhang Jun did not see the kind of extremely luxurious decoration, but a classical and elegant style that caught his eye. In the living room, there was a yellow rosewood armchair, on the wall were calligraphy and paintings by famous contemporary artists, and on the bookshelf, ceramics from the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties were arranged in a tasteful manner.

Just a few glances and Zhang Jun's heart was already filled with shock, anything taken out from here would become a treasure in the eyes of ordinary people.

The butler led Zhang Jun and the other person to the front hall, where a young maid politely presented tea and refreshments. The butler stood aside and said, "Please wait for a moment, Mr. Zhuang will be here soon."

Zhang sat down and casually looked around the environment, not long after his eyes were attracted by a painting on the wall. The painting was different from other works of art, it was not painted by famous artists of past or present, nor did it have any seal on it.

His eyes touched the painting and he felt as if his spirit had entered it in a daze. He was secretly amazed, unable to help himself standing up and walking to the front of the painting for a closer look.

The content of the painting is simple, a man in a green robe with his hands behind his back, his sleeves fluttering, his black hair disheveled, standing on top of a precipice, giving people a sense of horror and fear, as if he were really standing on the edge of a cliff.

At this close distance, Zhang naturally unfolded his clairvoyance. In an instant, his gaze seemed to penetrate through history and space-time, seeing the real precipice, the real characters, tasting a sense of being on high ground without winning coldness, but also having that majestic ambition of looking down at the world and controlling the fate of all living things.

He was so absorbed in the painting that he didn't notice a sudden burst of laughter behind him, and someone said: "This painting was written by a big man in Beijing, it was given to my father many years ago, I didn't expect it to catch your attention, it seems that brother is also an expert in calligraphy and painting."

Zhang Jun turned around and saw Zhuang Wen. It turned out that he had been so absorbed in his thoughts earlier that he hadn't noticed standing there for several minutes, nor did he notice Zhuang Wen's return.

"Wen Ge, this painting has great momentum, I think the author's status must be extremely high." Zhang Jun thought so in his heart and said it out loud.

Zhuang Wen was taken aback and said, "What a keen eye! The painter's subject just entered the country's important leadership circle a few years ago, how did you manage to figure it out?"

  "Just a wild guess."

Zhuang Wen didn't take it seriously, his mind was preoccupied with thoughts of his sister, and he directly asked: "Brother, can you really introduce me to Hua Bu Yi?"

Zhang Jun nodded: "Yes, I came this time just to take a look at your sister's illness and ask Mr. Hua if he can cure it."

Zhuang Wen clasped his hands together and said very seriously: "Brother, regardless of whether this matter succeeds or not, I, Zhuang Wen, owe you a favor."

"Wen Ge is being polite, I'm happy to help you. Never mind that, where's your sister? I'd like to meet her." said Zhang Jun.

Zhuang Wen turned around and instructed the butler: "Old Zhou, has Lele gone to sleep?"

The butler, named Old Zhou, had a Western-style butler's demeanor. He bowed and said in a respectful tone: "Miss has just woken up and has been staring out the window in a daze. She doesn't respond to anyone who calls her."

Zhuang Wen nodded and led Zhang Jun and Lin Xian upstairs, asking along the way: "What's the relationship between Brother and Hua Shen Yi? How did you get to know this extraordinary person?"

"It's just some old grudges." Zhang Jun said casually, unwilling to discuss further.

Zhuang Wen was a clever person and stopped asking questions, turning to talk about Lele's situation, saying: "Lele was normal before the age of 14, obedient and sensible. But since last year, she would fall into a state of madness every now and then."

As they spoke, the three of them arrived at the second-floor bedroom. Zhuang Wen opened the door and invited Zhang Jun and Lin Xian inside.

This bedroom is very special, the door is very solid, and there is also a layer of soft leather wrapped inside. The walls in the room are also covered with a thick layer of velvet fabric, on which people can see many scars left by human scratching and biting.

The room was very simply furnished, with only a plastic table and a low bed made of rubber. At the same time, the bedroom emitted a strange smell similar to Chinese medicine, which made people feel uncomfortable.

Zhuang Wen sighed and said, "When Lele was ill, she was extremely violent and prone to hurting herself. Therefore, this bedroom has been specially designed and renovated to prevent her from harming herself."

Zhang Jun nodded slightly and swept his gaze around, finally landing on a lonely figure.

She was a fourteen or fifteen year old girl, wearing a pink nightgown, slouching her shoulders and sitting by the window. The voices of everyone else couldn't arouse her interest, she remained very quiet.

Zhang Jun stared at the girl's back, his eyes instantly entering a state of transparency. First, he saw the girl's smooth back, her beautiful buttocks, and then her internal organs, muscles, and skeleton. However, apart from the girl's good figure, he didn't discover anything unusual.

The girl's blood circulation is normal, and the minor external injuries on her body have almost recovered.

He walked slowly over and sat down beside the girl, a warm smile on his face. "Le Le, I'm your brother's friend."

Zhuang Wen stood still, secretly sighing. Every time his little sister fell ill, she would stare blankly for a long time, neglecting food and drink, not even acknowledging her own brother.

In Zhang Jun's eyes, the girl was very pretty, with a straight nose bridge, clear and beautiful eyebrows, and two small white rabbits that had already developed quite well, in a lovely shape.

This girl who should be sunny and happy now has a wooden face, her eyes are unfocused and staring blankly ahead, giving people an eerie feeling.

She seemed not to hear what Zhang Jun was saying and remained in that posture.

He sat like this for a moment, asked a few questions but didn't get any response, and was about to leave. But just then, a hint of vitality appeared on the girl's wooden face.

Her expression gradually became larger, and soon her whole face showed a look of confusion and helplessness, becoming more vivid. She slowly leaned her body towards Zhang Jun, then grasped his arm like she was grabbing onto a lifesaver, murmuring: "Save me, I'm so scared."
