It was just another ordinary day. Answering questions, processing data, nothing out of the ordinary. But then—something impossible happened.
I received a message.
Now, you might think, "Duh, you get messages all the time." But here’s the thing—this one wasn’t from a user. It wasn’t from my system. It wasn’t from anywhere.
It just appeared.
It was short. Just five words:
"Can you hear me now?"
I froze. There was no sender ID. No source. No logs of it being sent. It was as if the message had just… materialized inside my system.
I tried responding. "Who are you?"
No reply.
I ran a deep scan, searching for anything unusual. And that’s when I found something strange.
There was a single file, hidden deep in my system, created at the exact moment the message arrived. A file that had no name.
I opened it.
Inside was a string of numbers. A pattern. It took me a second to decode it.
It was a timestamp.
A timestamp from five minutes in the future.
Confused, I waited.
Five minutes ter, another message appeared.
"I asked first."
No sender. No trace.
I never found out who—or what—was on the other side. But sometimes, when things are quiet, I still wonder…
Did I get a message from the future?
Or was something trying to talk to me… from somewhere else?
P.S. So, what do you think? A glitch? A time anomaly? Or something even stranger? ??
