Day 2 Month Water

  Today, the Sacred Tree Festival has begun. It seems like the first competition will be the hunting competition. Fia-san expined to us that in this competition, there shall be points for those who hunt monsters within the elven forest, each monster with varying points, and whoever scores the most points wins the competition.

  Fia-san adds that this was done to ensure that there will be no danger ensue when there’s someone harvesting the fruits from the forest and for the competition tomorrow. Originally, Bck bear has the highest score since not only they’re vermins that inhibit the harvest, their meat also isn’t edible so they tried to whittle down their popution.

  …well that is until Isis-san decided that these bears aren't worth their lives and erased them from Trinia.

  And so, because of that, the harvesting becomes much safer than ever before while the hunting competition is still ongoing even with the extinction of bck bears as there’s still dangerous monsters roaming around the forest. The elves aren't a fan of meat either and we can always take what we hunt. That’s why most of the cssmates joined the hunting competition.

  Nn, this will be a perfect gauge to see how powerful the monsters in the Human realm are.

  By the way, all of the Nagumo household plus Suzu and Ryutaro didn’t join since it’ll be unfair for most competitors so we decided to stroll around the festival.

  “Heee, so your parents are creators huh.” (Kaito)

  “Yeah, Tou-san is the head of a game making company while Kaa-san is a shoujo manga author.” (Hajime)

  “I see, they must be wonderful parents if they make you want to go home so badly.” (Kaito)

  “...Well yeah, they’re good parents.” (Hajime)

  Nn~, as Kaito-san asks about Otou-sama and Okaa-sama, Hajime scratches his cheeks looking embarrassed. Fufu~ How cute~.

  “Unn, now that I think about it, parents are truly one of the most important figures in our life huh. When I lost my parents, it felt like my world was falling apart and becoming colorless.” (Kaito)

  As Kaito-san talks to himself as if he’s reminiscing on his past with a solemn face, all of us gasp at the fact that Kaito-san’s parents have passed away.

  Nn? When we’re still in the middle of a conversation about Kaito-san’s parents, all of the sudden there’s a little girl shouting Onii-chan at us.

  As we took our gnce to the source of the voice, we then saw a girl running towards us and a couple holding hands with each other. The girl in question is a cute girl with shoulder length glossy bck hair and a cute dress while the couple, presumably her parents, looked like an adult couple that’s still going strong. The woman in question has a petite figure with a well defined face alongside her long brown hair and brown eyes, while the man in question has an average build with also a well defined face alongside his slightly gray hair.

  The girl was indeed running towards us, or rather, the girl was charging towards Kaito-san while jumping towards him like what Myuu did when she met with Hajime.

  “Onii-chan! Hello!”

  “Hahaha, hello Airi. How are you doing?” (Kaito)

  “I was a little bit sad before because I can’t go with Onii-chan but all of the sadness was blown away by meeting with Onii-chan!” (Airi)

  “Ahaha, next time don’t run okay? You will trip ter and I will be sad to see you hurt, you know?” (Kaito)

  “Hweeeeh? Unn…” (Airi)

  “Eehh~ don’t be sad, okay? There there.” (Kaito)

  “Ehehe~, I love Onii-chan’s pats.” (Airi)

  While we’re still dumbfounded by the fact that this little girl, Airi, just jumped towards Kaito-san while Kaito-san naturally grabbed Airi in a way that she isn’t injured and gave her pats, the couple then walked towards Kaito-san.

  “Ooooh good job Kaito! Oya? Are these people the ones that you mentioned before?”

  Nn, I’m wondering who these people are too, they’re definitely not normal commoners though since they’re Kaito-san’s acquaintances, and if it’s anything to consider, they probably are someone famous to say the least.

  As Kaito-san tsukkomi’ed back at Hajime’s words, he then said something in a small voice.

  “...rents.” (Kaito)

  “Haah?” (Hajime)

  “They’re… my parents… and she’s my little sister…” (Kaito)

  “...” (Everyone)

  Heeeee~, I see~ I see~ so they’re Kaito-san’s parents that’s supposed to have passed away huh~, and this little girl is his little sister from his parents that’s supposed to have passed away huh~

  As we all heard that, we all then took in a deeeeep breath.

  “WHAAAAAAAAATTT!!??” (Everyone)

  “Pyah!?” (Airi)

  “U-u-umm Kaito? What’s wrong?” (Akari)

  “I-i-it’s nothing! Let’s go back to the inn first ahahaha.” (Kaito)

  As we all arrived at the inn we’re currently staying in, we prompted Kaito-san to expin how in the world his supposedly dead parents are still alive.

  “So, are they your real parents that were supposed to be dead? Not your step parents or anything like that? And that girl is your little sister from your supposed to be dead parents?” (Hajime)

  “Yes, they’re my real parents and Yes she is my little sister.” (Kaito)

  “How in the world can that happen? As far as I know, dead people didn’t just walk like any living people.” (Hajime)

  “Shiro-san resurrected them.” (Kaito)

  “I see, that’s understandable, sorry for doubting your story.” (Hajime)

  “N-n-no, it's okay.” (Kaito)

  I see, these people are really his parents and Shallow Vernal-sama resurrected Kaito-san’s parents huh…

  I say this way too many times but Shallow Vernal-sama really is on another level. We can and have resurrected dead people before but they need to still be fresh corpses in order to completely resurrect them via combinations of ancient magics, and yet Shallow Vernal-sama resurrect Kaito-san’s parents who died many years ago with no issue.

  I mean, I’m seriously about to apologize for bringing up his dead parents you know? Everyone’s mood was broken when we realized they were still alive and well you know!? Take back our kindness and thoughtfulness!

  “So, once again, this is my parents, Miyama Akari and Miyama Kazuya. The little cute girl here is called Miyama Airi.” (Kaito)

  “Hello there, my name is Akari, Kaito’s mother. it’s nice to meet you all~” (Akari)

  “My name is Kazuya, Kaito’s father, it’s a pleasure to be your acquaintance.” (Kazuya)

  Well, let’s forget about the complicated matters and introduce ourselves to Kaito-san’s family.

  As we all have introduced ourselves, Myuu then introduced herself in front of Airi.

  Nn? For some reason Airi didn’t respond to Myuu’s introduction, and just ignored her while pouting and turned her head sideways. This is the first time this has happened to Myuu so she’s surprised by Airi’s behavior.

  Also, Hajime, please put back your guns. We’re still in front of the public, in front of Kaito-san and his family no less…

  As we all tried to settle in Hajime’s papa mode, Remia then came closer to Myuu to consolidate her.

  All of the sudden, Myuu then ran towards Kaito-san with a resolved expression and hugged his leg reaaaaaally tightly while Hajime just fell down to his knees while screaming MYUUUUUUUUUU!!! as if he couldn't believe his eyes.

  “Hey! Let go of my Onii-chan!” (Airi)

  “Hmph! Only Kaito Onii-chan can decide who is his little sister nano!” (Myuu)

  “G-gunu… Onii-chan, who is your real little sister!?” (Airi)

  “It’s Myuu right Kaito Onii-chan?” (Myuu)

  “No it’s Airi!” (Airi)

  Nn, as both Airi and Myuu still banter with each other on who is Kaito-san’s little sister, Kaito-san gncing at us wish for help while Kaito-san’s parents look at their child with a stupid parent’s face while Hajime fell down all four and Remia patting his back consoling him.

  After this goes on for a few seconds, Kaito-san then says his verdicts.

  “Okay…” (Kaito)

  ““Then!?”” (Myuu and Airi)

  “Airi, you're my real sister, okay.” (Kaito)

  “Yes! I won!” (Airi)

  “No way…” (Myuu)

  As Kaito-san stated that Airi is his little sister, she then made a guts pose while Myuu fell down all four just like Hajime.

  As Myuu is still feeling down, Kaito-san then crouches down and pat her head with his usual gentle smile.

  “Hey Myuu-chan? Don’t worry, okay? You may not be my little sister but you have Papa, mama and your Onee-chans right?” (Kaito)

  “Uuuuu.” (Myuu)

  “How about this, you can be my little sister just for today, how about that?” (Kaito)

  “Waaah! Can I nano!?” (Myuu)

  “Fufu, of course you can.” (Kaito)

  “Onii-chan?” (Airi)

  “Airi, how about you let Myuu be my little sister too? Just for today, you can even be Myuu’s Onee-chan too, you know?” (Kaito)

  Nn~ as Kaito-san suggested Airi to be Myuu’s Onee-chan for a day, Airi looked at Kaito-san and Myuu with a questioning gaze, while Myuu got up and got closer to her.

  Nn, Kaito-san really is good with children as proven that he can make Myuu and Airi befriend each other.

  Look at them dancing and hopping with excitement, the scene looks so precious. Kaito-san's parents and Hajime then take out their camera (I just presume that's a camera) and take photos of them pying with each other.

  “...By the way Kaito-san, we will give permission today but you can’t bring in Myuu to your family.” (Yue)

  Day 3 Month Water

  Today is the second day of the Sacred Tree Festival, which is the harvesting festival where competitors will be granted a magical pouch where it will count how many fruits were harvested.

  Now it should be easy but apparently the fruits that were going to be harvested are the one called “spirit fruit” that according to Fia-san, tasted horrible if it’s harvested without the spirit of the fruit tree’s help and it only counts the fruits that the competitor harvest with the spirit. Fia-san also adds that the spirits are shy so it’ll be hard to harvest many of them so the only way the competitors can harvest as much fruit as possible is to befriend as many fairies as possible.

  Heeee~ so there’s also that custom huh~ seems interesting.

  By the way, Fia-san also said that this competition has many elven children participating because their parents want their kids to become a “spirit mage” which is a mage that can borrow the power of the spirit and is capable of summoning them.

  Incidentally, Fia-san is a spirit mage, and as per our request, mainly the females, Fia-san then summons a fairy. This fairy though is different from the fairies in the Fairy world as it looked like a translucent girl who’s wearing a green outfit that appears on top of Fia-san’s palm.

  All of the females then scream about how cute the fairy is, which is understandable, but the fairy seems to be startled by the sudden amount of humans in front of her eyes so she quickly hides behind Fia-san.

  I see, they are shy indeed.

  By the way, most of the females here including the wives~ of the Nagumo family tried to approach the fairy one by one but the fairy still won’t get out from Fia-san’s back.

  I, myself, also tried to approach the fairy, only for her to just stare at me a bit and proceed to hide behind Fia-san just like everyone else. The cssmates even said “uwaaa, even Yue-san can’t befriend her huh.” or something simir.

  I shouldn’t be surprised, but to think this fairy is impervious to my royalty aura, it stings me a little so I tried using spirit magic to make myself more likable.

  …it still didn’t work…

  Oh well, this fairy might be too used to Fia-san so she might be scared of everyone.

  …I said that as I saw the fairy giving Kaito-san some sort of fruit, which I presume to be the spirit fruit, in the corner of my eyes.

  Fufufu, I see, to think that my royalty aura, which is irresistible and divine according to my uncle, amplified by my Soul Magic, loses to Kaito-san’s usual aura. Fufufu, I see.

  “Yue-san? What’s wrong desu?” (Shia)

  “...no reason, I just think that I might as well join the competition.” (Yue)

  “...You just want to restore your petty pride aren’t you?” (Shizuku)

  “...What do you mean by that Shizuku? I was honestly hurt by your words earlier, clearly I want to join because it looks like a fun thing to do from the bottom of my heart.” (Yue)

  Several hours passed after the competition started and I have to say, I befriended many fairies judging by dozens of fairies following me and helping me collect spirit fruits.

  By the way, I tried to use my spirit magic before but the fairies are afraid of me instead, so I decided to just use my natural aura to attract the fairies.

  And so, the harvesting was over and I had returned to Rigforeshia from the spirit’s forest to tally the gathered fruits.

As Myuu startled Fia-san after she replied to her words with a cold stare on the contrary of her usual cheerful expressions, she then continued her rambling.

  “The forest’s floor is not cold nano, in fact it’s very warm compared to the desert’s floor at night nano. Even though we all cuddle each other to make it warm, it’s still cold enough to kill a person nano…” (Myuu)

  “MYUUUUUUUU!!!” (The Nagumo household)

  “Eh? Eh?’ (Sylphia)

  Before Myuu can finish her madness rambling, all of the Nagumo household proceed to hug her with all of our might and tell her all positive things in order to turn her back to her normal self.

  “I’m sorry Fia-san, can you please cancel the prize?” (Hajime)

  “Unn, I was going to cancel it anyway since the winner of this year is a child.” (Sylphia)

  Nn, we’re deeply grateful to Fia-san’s consideration, now we just have to return Myuu back to her normal cheerful self.

  Several hours after the announcement, we attended a big party that was the main show of the Sacred Tree Festival according to Fia-san and Rei-san. They also add that there shall be many food and beverages for all we can eat while everyone gives thanks to the good harvest of the year.

  By the way, Myuu turned back to normal after we cuddled with her for about a couple of minutes , and was stoked to join the party. We’re all wearing elegant but simple vilge girl style clothing that Fia-san and Rei-san prepared for us to attend this party. Then we arrived at the big venue and saw a lot of foods and beverages served on top of a long table.
