Day 20 Month Fire

  Nn, this is a sad sight to watch. The hero begs his arch nemesis, the demon king, to take him out from this “hell”, screaming in front of everyone while hugging him as if he’s his st hope for salvation.

  Well I can’t bme him though…

  Several minutes earlier, we were all just chatting with each other, mainly about our conversation with Kaito-san yesterday regarding our future activities here considering we were in Lilia-san’s mansion all the time and slowly got bored.

  …Yes, we’re doing this in order to avoid our future as a NEET here, especially since there’s not only one, but two mamas that we have to keep an eye on.

  One of them is, of course, Illness-san. But the other one, to my surprise, is Kuro-san who also has high mama energy.

  No for real, about 2 days ago I decided to talk to Kuro-san about magic here in Trinia since Isis-san said Kuro-san is more knowledgeable in magic than Isis-san. But surprisingly, Aiko wished to meet with Kuro-san to give her gratitude for protecting us.

  Let’s just say both of them were hitting off pretty well, especially since apparently Kuro-san is an amazing teacher judging from Kaito-san’s praises which makes Kuro-san cutely blushes from Kaito-san’s words.

  But things start to get weird as Aiko starts to rant and talk about her life as the teacher for the returnees while Kuro-san listening to her suppressed compints. She then pats Aiko’s head, while saying assuring words such as you worked hard didn't you? There there, it’s okay, let it out bit by bit. You’re such a good teacher or something along those lines.

  And then… Aiko snaps… and regresses, becoming an infant while calling her “Mama Kuro” as she ys on Kuro-san’s ps with her hands on Aiko’s head patting her still.

  Words can’t describe my feeling after I saw how terrifying Kuro-san’s mama energy is. It makes Aiko, who absolutely won’t break down for her students, regress into an infant hungry for her mama’s affections.

  It seems like Akiko-san has a rival…

  Anyway, luckily me and Hajime were present when this occurred so we took Aiko by force, while saying sorry to Kuro-san as we forfeit with Aiko in Hajime’s arm saying mama? To him that honestly terrifies us both.

  Needless to say, at that evening, Aiko’s scream could be heard in her rooms as Hajime gives her the “shock therapy” to snap her out.

  It was also needless to say that we’re very wary of Kuro-san now the same way we’re wary of Illness-san’s mama energy. To think that there’s another like her is completely out of my prediction.

  But besides that, according to Kaito-san’s words when we visited him 4 days ago, it seems like at the start of next month, which is Water month, there’s a festival in Sieg-san’s hometown, Rigforeshia, that’s called the Sacred Tree festival.

  Nn, apparently it’s a two day festival that consists of hunting and harvesting competition with a big party on the second day. It sounds fun so we all decided to join the festival together with the Miyama household.

  I said Miyama household but apparently Illness-san and Nebu-san won’t be joining us in participating the Sacred Tree Festival since apparently Illness-san need to be in the mansion at all times in case there’s a mail in Lilia-san and Kaito-san’s absence while Nebu-san can’t go too far from her “tree”.

  According to Kaito-san, apparently Nebu-san is one of the spirits of the World Tree of this world, kinda like the Avatar of the World Tree. Nn, even though she’s much smaller, she has more dignity than a certain bck Avatar of the World Tree of the Fairy world and a certain proxy manly Goddess.

  Truly an absolute, maybe Aurodde can learn a thing or two from her.

  But besides that, we’re all preparing to visit and attend the Sacred Tree Festival in Rigforeshia.

  Incidentally, Alice-san then lightly and slowly persuades us to buy her products in her shops yet again, Kaito-san and Iris-san proceed to punch her head and scold her in order to stop her yet again.

  Seriously, words truly cannot express how thankful we are to Kaito-san and Iris-san.

  And so, today, we’re all just enjoying our time here while slowly preparing for the upcoming festival, and that’s when there’s a space distortion happening in the grand living room we’re in right now.

  As Tio says something weird, Hajime then takes out his revolver and proceeds to fire a shockwave bullet towards Tio’s head which hits and makes Tio shiver while panting from excitement as she falls on her front. What a disappointing masochistic bck dragon…

  But besides that, the hero procims that the world is too peaceful to his liking, maaaaakes me wonder if he also in the process of turning into Tio’s kind so we slowly moving away from the hero.

  Well, it appears it’s not all there is.

  “Ahh? If that’s all you want to say then go back to the royal castle.” (Hajime)

  “W-w-wait!!?? I have a reason, okay!? So don’t lump me together with Tio-san!” (Kouki)

  “Haaah, so? Go on.” (Hajime)

  “y-you see, when I was forced to become a hero and save the world, there’s so much going on I can’t even rest for a second. And when I was summoned here and become a hero representation, I thought myself to steel myself to weather the hardship only to find out that this world is at peace and there’s virtually no conflict, it’s really anticlimactic you know, I seriously thought I need to fight for my life again you know! So when I found out that this world is at peace, I suddenly felt really relieved and thought it’s okay to be more xed, and yet I feel uneasiness the more I stay here. I believe it’s called “apprehensive” or something like that? Anyway, so I decided to ask about how I can be of help to them in a combat sense but they keep on saying that it’s fine to just fulfill my role as the hero representation, but still the uneasiness couldn’t go away…” (Kouki)

  Nn, it’s a sad sight to watch as the hero falls from grace into a so-called “bck hero” that is addicted to work the same way as Lily while screams for help from his sworn enemy.

  It was truly a sad sight to watch, so much that Kaori, Shizuku, Suzu and Ryutaro cover their face with both of their hands as if all hope is lost from their dear childhood friend, while the cssmates all looked at the hero as if they looked at someone who desperately need help from a therapist.

  “Now that’s all done, go back to—oi! Stop hugging me you disgusting hero!” (Hajime)

  “I won't let go until you help me Nagumo!” (Kouki)

  “You disgusting bastard!!! LET GO OF ME YOU SH*TTY HEROOOOOOOOOO!!!!” (Hajime)

  “NUOOOOOOOHHHH!!! I WOULDN’T YIEEEEEELD!!!” (Kouki)

  And now the hero shamelessly hugged Hajime as if it’s the only thing he can do to retain his sanity while we looked at them exasperatedly.

  In the middle of the commotion, which is Hajime tries to pry off the hero while the hero hugged Hajime and begged for all his might, it seems like both Moana and Aurodde have something to say too.

  “Umm, it’s not just Kouki, but we both also feel restless because there’s not much we can do.” (Moana)

  Nn, today, we all decided to consult with Kaito-san on how to properly have activities here once again in order to avoid our future as a group of returNEET due to the peacefulness incarnate that is Trinia. I feel like I smelled a cooked masochistic bck dragon but it must be my imagination. The exasperated gazes from the wives~, cssmates and Kaito-san? Also must be my imagination.

  But besides that, it’s not just Kaito-san here, Kuro-san is also here as she sits on top of Kaito-san’s p comfortably. We, of course, stay away from her a little bit, especially Aiko who experiences Kuro-san’s mama energy first-hand.

  By the way, both Kaori and Shizuku aren't here since Kaori succumbed under Illness-san’s holy mother aura and turned into a NEET while Shizuku is with Kaori trying to snap her out.

  But never mind that, there’s actually one more person here. This person in question is a woman about 145-ish cm tall with short but neatly arranged white hair with bck ribbons behind her head neatly tied. She’s also a beautiful woman with her crimson colored iris, but the main thing that’s unique about her is the fact that she’s wearing maid attire, which is weird since we don’t remember a maid like her in Lilia-san and Kaito-san’s mansion.

  Kuro-san then introduces her as “Ein”, her attendant, family and “self procimed Maid” according to Ein-san. But judging from the way she poured tea to Kuro-san and Kaito-san’s teacup so elegantly, she’s definitely a maid.

  Now… after we introduce ourselves to Ein-san, we all realized that Hajime still hasn't introduced himself, or rather, he just stands there with his mouth open so wide as if he dislocated his jaws and say things like “I thought the woman before is the pinnacle of maids and yet this woman is of higher level of maid than her!?” or something simir.

  Naturally, we all looked at him with a cold gaze, but Hajime, naturally, didn’t mind us at all.

  But the weird thing is Ein-san then approaches Hajime and says “You curious on how to reach the pinnacle of Maid? I can see it in your eyes, the ambition to reach the summit and beyond.” or something simir.

  Hajime, weirdly enough, verrrrrryyyy enthusiastically shake his head up and down with a briiiiight sparkles in his eyes, indicating that he accept Ein-san’s offer.

  Since then, both of them converse with each other regarding things that we, the wives~, and the cssmates don’t know about.

  …Seriously, what the hell is this “Maidric aura” and “Maid burst”? I really want to ask but judging from Kaito-san’s expressions, it’s safe to say that it’s not a topic we should intrude on.

  By the way, I forgot about this but Ein-san is also a really powerful being, and according to Kaito-san, she is the infamous “Maid-ranked demon” that we heard from Lilia-san before.

  …It seems like we found someone that has the same addiction to maid like Hajime and Oscar. He seriously starts to call her “Ein-sensei”, it's unreal.

  Anyway, back to the main reason why we’re here, after we voice our concern, Kuro-san then says something.

  Heeee, if I remember correctly, Lilia-san said that most of the magic tools that we’re using were from the Seditch Magic Tool Company so it should be a pretty big company.

  “Magic engineering isn’t it? It does pique my interest but I believe this is more in line with Goshujin-sama’s specialty.” (Tio)

  “Ah don’t worry, you all will learn how to do basic magic engineering from the Internship Training Program that my company held. Of course all of you who attend the program will also gain a sary although it is lower than our full time employee.” (Kuro)

  Nn, so Alice-san has subordinates that’s also the guildmaster of the adventurer’s guild of this kingdom huh? Befitting someone who is the Six Kings. This also further proves her strength when she’s more than capable of sensing “Endou entering the room” just like Kaito-san.

  But to think that Alice-san is also interested in Endou’s innate ability, enough to hire him in this “intelligence corps”. Trinia may be at peace because of Alice-san’s supervision.

  Also, poor Endou, treated like a toy by Hajime as he just took a gnce at Endou then went back to the “Maid” topic with Ein-san as if it’s more important to him…

  For some reason I can see a droplet of tears behind his bangs when he compins to Hajime but that also must be my imagination.
