Soon after we teleported to the border between the forest and the Land of Death, we arrived in front of a mass of many groups of adventurers gathering near a building with a staircase going down below.

  Apparently the building is a 1 star dungeon called “The Gloomy Burrows” which is a bit weird since it didn’t feel gloomy but instead festive with many stalls erected near the dungeon entrance.

  Well it is a 1 star dungeon after all so it’s bound to be crowded with many adventurers and high ranking demons I suppose.

  “Alright, Group 1! Step forward!” (Hajime)

  “Yessir!” (Group 1)

  Suddenly Hajime ordered the Cssmates, particurly the first group that he arranged before, to step forward. They all lined up in front of him like soldiers in front of their commander.

  “Alright! You all go first! I heard from the she-devil that we are allowed to use our artifacts so there should be no issue! Now go down there and explore the dungeon!” (Hajime)

  “Yessir!” (First Group)

  As Hajime orders them to explore the dungeon, they all prepare themselves by pulling out their artifacts Hajime made within their Treasure Warehouse and proceed to enter the dungeon.

  The adventurers around us… did not mind us at all, some of them only looked at us out of curiosity at first since we all arrived as a big group of people but they didn't mind the fact that the Cssmates pulled out their weapons from their Treasure Warehouse.

  “I guess what she said is true, since Magic Boxes and Magic tools were very commonpce in this world, there wouldn’t be a problem to just reveal their artifacts, mine was an exception though.” (Hajime)

  Nn, if I remember correctly, Alice-san did say that most of the artifacts that were made by Hajime for the Cssmates are all almost the same as the Magic tools that were developed in Trinia, so there should be no problem for them to take out their artifacts in public.

  Though the Wifie~s and Hajime’s artifacts are an exception for an obvious reason, Alice-san did say that it’s okay to take them out as long as it isn’t in a crowded area.

  Anyway, Now that the first group is dispatched, we can only wait for the result when they return.

  Dozens of minutes passed, and the first group Hajime dispatched shows up at the dungeon entrance.

  “So, how is it?” (Hajime)

  “HA! The monster inside the dungeon is roughly about mid level Orcus Labyrinth so we have little to no problem with clearing them sir!” (Cssmate)

  “I see, then how’s the drop?” (Hajime)

  As Hajime asked them the result, they pulled out the loot they gathered onto the ground for us to see. There are many stones with varying sizes that had a faint magic power inside them, coupled with some materials like cws, clothes and hairs which I presume are monster drops and a simple looking dagger.

  “Heee, this much huh, I wonder how much money we can get from selling these. Yosh, I’ll go around and see if we can sell them at the stalls. Group one, share the information of the dungeon with everyone. Group 2, after y’all done with gathering information, go down to the dungeon. After Group 2 resurfaces, go share the information with all groups and repeat it until group 6, you hear me?” (Hajime)

  “Yessir!” (Cssmates)

  As Hajime suggests to sell them, he grabs the loot and stores it into his Treasure Warehouse and wanders off into the stalls while Group 1 shares the dungeon’s information using their guidebook with Group 2.

  It seems like Hajime is trying to gauge the strength of this dungeon alongside the Cssmates’ ability to clear it

  About one hour ter, the whole group had descended into the dungeon and went back safely without being teleported into the start and showed their loot to Hajime. He also had returned after gathering info about the stalls near the dungeon entrance.

  Just like what Hajime suspected, the stalls were there to evaluate and buy the loot adventurers gathered. There's even a bcksmith that can identify and evaluate the weapon drop.

  “...So, how many coins do you get Hajime?” (Yue)

  “Roughly about 1 gold coin. It’s decent, but not enough. I would like to go down there myself but I would rather gather money for renting an inn for our stay first.” (Hajime)

  As Hajime said this, he opened his book and tapped the 2 star logo three times and suddenly a white mist came out and formed an arrow shape pointing towards somewhere, which I presume is the location of the 2 star dungeon.

  Also, Hajime didn’t use the Compass just for this time to test the effect. I don’t understand but the boys thought they were cool so it’s all good I guess…

  But besides that, I also would like to look around the dungeon but since today is more of a test on how strong the dungeons are, we prioritize getting money for staying in at least a decent inn first. After all, we’re going to stay for roughly a month here in Demon Realm.

  “Yosh, let’s go to the next spot, this time I want Sonobe and others to go dive into the dungeon.” (Hajime)

  Nn, since Hajime already gathered the info he needed, he suggested to move towards different dungeon, possibly the harder 2 star dungeon to test the Returnee’s strength.

  I wonder when we will get some action though… I’m getting an itch to clear the dungeon myself…

  Several hours of walking ter, we finally arrived at a 2 star dungeon “The Grizzly Tombs” near a settlement, and just like the st dungeon, this one also has many people around it. Though the number of people is less than before which is obvious because the difficulty here is higher than the regur 1 star dungeon.

  “Alright, this time it will be much faster since there’s only two groups, Sonobe’s group and Nagayama’s group, who will go down there. So, we’re gonna split, all of you can go around and find the 1 star dungeons to clear, Sonobe and Nagayama’s group can go clear this one, while me with Yue and others plus the Hero, Taniguchi and Sakagami can find higher level dungeons. Share the information with each other, you hear me?” (Hajime)

  “Yessir!” (Cssmates)

  Finally! it’s time to show off my magic, I was getting itchy for some action myself. These past few weeks had been pretty quiet with the only time I let it loose is when we fought against Isis-san.

  Fufufu, oh dungeon monsters, here comes the Vampire Princess Yue-sama!

  Quite some time passed after we departed for a higher level dungeon, and we arrived in front of a 3 star dungeon “Crypt of the Forsaken Jungle”. I have no idea why the name’s like that but I have an inkling that a certain opera masked girl had way too much fun naming these dungeons.

  But besides that, compared to the previous dungeons, there’s barely any people here at all. Besides the stallowners and bcksmiths, there’s only a handful of people here. Though, their aura tells me that they’re cut above the rest compared to the people we met at the previous dungeons.

  Looks like 3 star dungeons is where the dungeon difficulty skyrocketed.

  “Well then, Taniguchi, Sakagami, both of you go down there first. After this, Amanogawa here will go after you both, then me, Yue then the rest, Got it?” (Hajime)

  “Ou.” (Ryutarou)

  “Got it!” (Suzu)

  “How about me papa?” (Myuu)

  “Myuu, you stay here with mama and Aiko Onee-chan.” (Hajime)

  “Eeeeehhhh~ I want to go on a dungeon adventure too nano~” (Myuu)

  “Ara~ let’s wait like a good kid, okay Myuu?” (Remia)

  “Muuuuu…” (Myuu)

  Looks like Myuu is really eager to conquer the dungeon, though both Hajime and Remia vetoed Myuu's idea which makes her puff her cheek looking adorable.

  “...Nn, wanna come with me Myuu?” (Yue)

  “Can I nano!?” (Myuu)

  “...Of course, Yue Onee-chan is the strongest so she could protect Myuu at all times.” (Yue)

  “Waaaah! Yue Onee-chan thank you nano!” (Myuu)

  Fufufu, looking at Myuu jumping with joy gives me such happiness, but there’s another reason why I let Myuu join me.

  Since Myuu will be joining me during the dungeon diving, Hajime will definitely follow me and Myuu, which in turn makes it a great time to be with Hajime. Myuu is happy since she will be joining me and Hajime conquering the dungeon, I will be happy since I have alone time with Hajime and Myuu, and Hajime will be happy since Myuu and I are happy. Killing three birds in one stone~.

  Fufufu, I’m one step ahead of everyone as always. As expected, me.

  …For some reason I can feel a really intense gre from the Wifie~s, but that’s probably just my imagination.

  Quite some time had passed, and it’s our turn to go down to the dungeon. After we went down the stairs, we arrived in front of a giant wooden door. As we opened it, me and Hajime felt as if we passed through an invisible membrane. I presume it’s the magic Alice-san told us about that acts as a failsafe in case there’s anybody in danger inside this dungeon.

  Well, there shouldn’t be any problem since according to Suzu, Ryutaro and the Hero, the monster here isn’t powerful enough to pose any danger, and we also already shared information about monsters here. But it’s better to be cautious so we tell Myuu to not wander too far from us.

  Also, according to three of them, there seems to be a boss at the final level of this dungeon. Interesting, I wonder what it will be

  But besides that, behind this door, rather than pin stone brick walls, the dungeon felt as if it was an ancient ruin with decaying walls, dripping water from the ceiling, mossy pathways, and there’s even some root digging through the slip on the wall and floors.

  And of course, not long after we stepped foot inside this dungeon, monsters began to walk toward us.

  The first wave of monster is apparently called “Tombhand” which is just a moving rotting hand that was bandaged like mummies, it’s pretty small but there’s many of them gathered in front of us like bugs.

  Of course I immediately bst them with a fireball since they terrify Myuu a bit so they pose no match for me.

  Luckily, the monster vanished after I killed them and only left the drop that we took which makes the scene far less gruesome. Looks like Self Restrain-kun isn’t needed today.

  In any case, as we walked further into the dungeon, more monsters showed up. This time it’s a grey colored wolf monster called “Vilemutt”. Luckily this kind of monster isn’t too disgusting so Myuu is less terrified by them.

  Though they still charge at us, Hajime then proceeds to shoot them all down easily.

  Oh? Looks like among the monster's drop there’s a blue box pops out.

  “Heee, so this is the rare drop huh? Hmm, I can’t appraise it. That she-devil is definitely the one making this alright.” (Hajime)

  Hajime said this in a disgruntled voice as he felt like he lost against Alice-san, though his expression isn’t changing. I know he’s frustrated that Alice-san is so much better than him in almost every aspect that it almost looks like a joke.

  “Papa?” (Myuu)

  “Hmm? Ah, it’s nothing Myuu, c’mon, we have 7 more levels before we reach the boss room.” (Hajime)

  “Yes nano!” (Myuu)

  Nn, looks like Myuu also felt Hajime’s frustration so he tried to change the subject.

  “... Don’t worry Hajime, you’re still the best to me.” (Yue)

  “Yue…” (Hajime)

  “Jeez! Papa! Yue Onee-chan! Don’t leave me out nano!” (Myuu)

  “Okay okay. Come here Myuu, let’s hold hands.” (Hajime)

  “Yes nano!” (Myuu)

  Nn, thanks to me and Myuu, Hajime’s mood came back to normal. We secretly give ourselves a high five behind Hajime’s back.

  But in any case, since Hajime can’t identify the rare drops, it must be a pretty good item compared to the normal dagger the Cssmates got before.

  I wonder what more we'll discover? I’m getting more pumped!

  Hmm, it looks like we finally arrived in front of a giant door that I presume leads to a boss room. The previous floors are all filled with various undead monsters though it poses no danger to me and Hajime.

  Hell, Myuu even begged Hajime to fight against the monster on her own, though we told her that she can only fight in the lower level dungeons so she can only pout in dissatisfaction.

  Well besides that, we then proceed to open the door, and behind it stands tall a really old looking stone golem that’s covered with moss and cracks sitting on the ground.

  The second we stepped foot into this room, the golem shook a bit and awoke from its slumber, taking a fighting stance to fight us. The pressure coming from this golem felt pretty intense. As expected of this dungeon’s boss.

  “GUOOOOO—” (Golem)

  DOPAN~

  “GUO!?” (Golem)

  Before the golem can even move, Hajime immediately shoots at him with no dey. As expected from my husband, no mercy towards his enemies~, how lovely~

  But besides that, the golem did not immediately crumble down, it is pretty impressive that it endeavored Hajime’s attack. It is a pretty tough monster.

  DOPAN~ DOPAN~ DOPAN~

  “GUO!?” (Golem)

  Though Hajime did not stop at just one shot, in fact he shot three more times at the golem, before it crumbled into a pile of rocks and disappeared, turning into coins and loot.

  A sad sight to watch for the golem…

  “Papa, Golem-san didn’t even have time to introduce himself, it was sad nano…” (Myuu)

  “Myuu, all enemies must perish, you understand?” (Hajime)

  “Ah yes.” (Myuu)

  Myuu also thought that the sight of Golem-san crumbling into rocks the second it reanimated itself was sad but Hajime just said what needs to be said as usual.

  Anyway, as we beat the boss, a magic circle appears at the center of the boss room. We step into it and we’re teleported at the dungeon’s entrance, which marks our victory against this dungeon.

  Well it was a breeze so it didn’t feel that satisfying. Nonetheless, I got the action I wanted so it was alright I suppose.

  Though according to Ryutaro and Suzu, they have a rather difficult time defeating the golem so it should be a rather strong opponent. Sadly for the Golem, me and Hajime are the strongest!

  Fufufu, I can’t wait to find stronger opponents. I’m still not satisfied with just this.

  But in the meantime, all three of us walked up the stairs and let Shia and others try this dungeon.

  Quite some time had passed and all of the Wifie~s save for Remia and Aiko had tried the dungeon and conquer it without any hitch. Rather, Shia said that it wasn’t enough so she decided to repeat the dungeon five more times and got a purple box and a gold box from regur monsters and even the boss.

  Incidentally, now that we all finished clearing the dungeon, we all gathered around an appraiser near the dungeon entrance to appraise the drop we got. As we all eagerly wait, the appraiser holds out a magnifying gss object, he then looks at the drop using it and the blue box suddenly morphed into a dagger.

  Hmm, looks like rather than appraising it directly, there’s a magic tool for appraising the drops huh.

  “Let’s see… the first one is… a dagger “Mosquito”... the second one is… a cymore “Knightfall”... the third one— oya? This is quite a rare drop. Let’s see… a hammer “Hubris, Protector's Stone”. Congratutions, this is the third time I ever see a boss’ drop so you’re quite lucky~” (Appraisal)

  Hee, it looks like what Shia got from the boss is apparently pretty rare. Though she already has her own hammer made by Hajime so it’s pretty useless to us.

  “Ah, I forgot to tell you all, these weapons have special effects if you equip them. This dagger “Mosquito” can not only apply continuous damage to the enemy, it also can heal you. This cymore “Knightfall” grants protection and attack enhancement to you and your teammates if you chant the letters engraved on the sword bde. This hammer, however, is a bit different. It has three functions: it can attract monsters towards you by chanting the letters engraved on the hammer, while increasing your defense drastically. The st one, however, is a bit different as it is a part of the riddle for the whereabouts of 5 stars dungeons. Of course it’s incomplete so you need to find another boss drop from other 3 stars dungeons or higher. Do note that not all boss drops contain riddles so be sure to check your guidebook for more information and good luck!” (Appraiser)

  Nn, I see, it looks like the 5 star dungeons are all hidden even though it was shown on the map. This is getting interesting.

  I thought we’re just gonna steamroll the dungeons but to think there’s a gimmick like this, it really feels like an RPG game now.

  “Fufufu, to think there’s something like this! I’m getting excited desu! How about we go to the 4 star dungeon near us now desu!?” (Shia)

  It looks like Shia is really pumped up, so much so that she suggests going to the 4 star dungeon near us immediately.

  “Wait, I still need to confirm something first. Taniguchi, Sakagami, how do you both feel about this dungeon?” (Hajime)

  “Hmm, I feel like 3 star dungeons is our limit, isn’t that right Ryu?” (Suzu)

  “Ou, that Golem we fought earlier is really tough, I think this is our limit for now.” (Ryutaro)

  “Alright, how about you Amanogawa?” (Hajime)

  “Hmm, to be honest I can still go further.” (Kouki)

  “Yosh, we’ll split, this time Sakagami and Taniguchi can go to other dungeons to gather more money or help other cssmates in clearing the dungeons, the rest will follow us to the 4 star dungeon. If there’s any emergency just dial in with your phone. sounds good?” (Hajime)

  “Ou!” (Ryutaro)

  “You got it!” (Suzu)

  Since 3 star dungeons is the limit for Ryutaro and Suzu, we decided it’ll be efficient to split up and let them go conquer another dungeon while the rest can follow us to the next destination.

  Anyway, 4 star dungeon here we come!
