Chapter 274: Demon Pillar Annihilation Battle

  "Eliminate, eliminate, eliminate, eliminate..."

A mechanical chorus filled the air as the Demon Pilrs unched their assault.

A brilliant glow erupted from their diamond-shaped eyes, condensing into beams of destructive energy that swept across the battlefield.

Explosions rippled outward as their attacks carved through the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, shaking the very foundation of the fortress.

The structure trembled violently—its colpse now only a matter of time.

  "Damn it!"

Semiramis was the first to counterattack, sending a torrent of enchanted chains toward one of the Demon Pilrs.

Her strength was intrinsically tied to the Hanging Gardens, if the fortress crumbled, she would be rendered powerless.

"This light is the pnet's hope. Proof of the life that illuminates this world!"

  "Behold! Excalibur!!"

  "Via Expugnatio!"

  "Gáe Buidhe!"

A barrage of Noble Phantasms followed as the gathered Servants unched their attacks, each picking a Demon Pilr to engage.

  "Kazikli Bey"

Vd III drove his spear into one of the Demon Pilrs before activating his Noble Phantasm.

A forest of razor-sharp stakes erupted from within the creature, skewering its grotesque form from every angle, transforming it into a twisted, monstrous pincushion.

However, the Demon Pilr merely writhed for a moment before flexing its form, shattering every single stake with ease.

Their resilience was unnatural. Their high endurance and regenerative capabilities meant that only overwhelming firepower would be effective.

Elsewhere, Amakusa Shirou gripped his bde, slicing across the body of Raum, only for the bde to fail to leave a single mark.

"...This sword of yours, Shakespeare, is sorely cking."

His expression darkened. He would need to use his true Noble Phantasm if he wanted to inflict any real damage.

Before he could act, Raum's eyes fshed, unleashing a powerful shockwave that bsted Amakusa Shirou across the battlefield.

When he pushed himself back up, his wrists were wrapped in glowing red and blue magic rings, his Command Seals activating in response to the battle's intensity.

Meanwhile, Achilles continued dodging and weaving around a Demon Pilr's attacks, grumbling to himself.

"This would be a hell of a lot easier if I had my Meteor Spear..."

Unfortunately, Chihiro was still unconscious, meaning the Vajra Cutter that housed his weapon could not return it to him.

Diarmuid and Fionn, Iskandar and Siegfried, Artoria and Qin Shi Huang, all continued their relentless assault, exchanging barrages with the Demon Pilrs.

Karna and Gilgamesh, however, stood apart.

Each had cimed a Demon Pilr for themselves and unlike the others, they were winning.

Their overwhelming firepower left their opponents completely suppressed.

  As for Shakespeare...

  Well.

He was staying far away, as expected.

  "O Brahma, cover the earth!"

Karna finally unleashed his Divine Eye Cannon, a beam of searing golden energy tearing through a Demon Pilr's core.

The creature colpsed immediately, writhing as its body began to disintegrate.

  But—

Goetia flicked his fingers, and in the next instant, the Demon Pilr fully regenerated, its massive form rising to attack once more.

  Karna narrowed his eyes.

As long as Goetia remained, the Demon Pilrs would continuously regenerate, no matter how much damage they took.

Unless they were obliterated completely, leaving not even a trace behind.

  He could do it.

But the sheer force required would risk harming his allies.

  "The Arrogant King's Alcohol!"

Semiramis summoned another Noble Phantasm, manifesting a golden goblet filled with a dark green liquid.

She poured its contents over her chains, enchanting them with a lethal toxin.

Semiramis was a master of poison magecraft. Once her Noble Phantasm was activated, even the air itself could become a lethal venom.

Her toxins could even poison through a causal link, affecting the Master by poisoning their Servant.

  "Now, die!"

Her poison-infused chains shed into a Demon Pilr, sinking into its flesh.

She could feel the venom spreading.

It worked, the Demon Pilrs weren't immune.

  However—

  Goetia smirked from above.

The poison had no effect on him.

And within seconds, the Demon Pilr purged the toxin from its body, regenerating back to full strength.

  Semiramis's expression hardened.

This was a poison deadlier than even the Hydra's venom. Even Heracles and Chiron would have succumbed to it.

Yet against these creatures, it had done nothing.

There was only one option left.

Summoning all her magic, Semiramis poured the remainder of the poison onto the ground, weaving a new spell.

The venom spread, forming an intricate magic circle.

A green light pulsed outward, opening a spatial rift in the ground.

A deafening roar erupted from within.

Two massive cwed hands emerged, pressing against the earth as something colossal began to rise.

A serpentine head, covered in dark green scales, six unblinking eyes, and a maw filled with razor-sharp fangs emerged.

A monstrous presence radiated across the battlefield.

  However—

Only half of its body was able to manifest.

  "Hmm? Ba?mu?"

Gilgamesh, watching from a distance, instantly recognized the creature.

  Ba?mu.

A beast from Babylonian mythology, one of the eleven monsters created by Tiamat.

A divine beast so powerful that Semiramis could only summon half of its body into this world.

Ba?mu opened its jaws and a thick cloud of lethal poison erupted forward.

Even Mordred would die instantly if exposed.

The Demon Pilr caught in the bst screamed, its flesh rotting away in seconds, liquefying into a bckened sludge.

  One Demon Pilr down.

  Ba?mu's venom was truly potent.

  Yet still—Goetia did not react.

  He simply observed.

Meanwhile, below the Hanging Gardens, Jeanne d'Arc and the others gazed up at the colpsing fortress in shock.

Just then, Chiron approached arriving alongside Fiore, Atanta, and Jack.

The teleportation array Semiramis had used earlier was one-time use, meaning Chiron's group had been forced to travel here on foot.

The moment Jeanne and Mordred saw them, both sides immediately went on high alert.

  They were on opposite factions.

Under normal circumstances, they would be enemies.

  But—

Chiron and Atanta both noticed something strange about the battle above.

  "...Something's wrong," Atanta muttered.

Fiore suddenly received a message from Gordes.

After reading it, she froze in shock.

"We've only been gone for a few hours… but why does it feel like the entire war has changed?"

Back in the battlefield, Karna turned toward Iskandar.

"This won't work," he said. "I need space to fully unleash my attack."

  Iskandar smirked.

"Got it. But if this fails, don't bme me."

  He activated his Noble Phantasm.

  The world shifted.

A golden desert stretched out beneath them.

Vast armies rose from the sands.

The Reality Marble was deployed, dragging the remaining Demon Pilrs into it.

  Iskandar grinned.

  "They're all yours, Karna."

Karna soared into the sky, raising his spear as fmes engulfed it.

  "Then let's end this… now."

"O Surya...bear witness! There is no room for hesitation on the battlefield.!"

"This single strike is extinction itself!

  Burn it all."

  "Vasavi Shakti!!!"

Karna's fming spear ignited with divine brilliance as he hurled it forward.

The weapon pierced through the Demon Pilrs with unstoppable force, its trajectory unwavering as it carried the full might of a demigod's wrath.

  Swoosh!!!

The moment the spear struck, a cataclysmic explosion of light erupted, expanding outward like an avanche of divine fire.

The radiance engulfed all eight remaining Demon Pilrs, swallowing them whole and illuminating the entire Reality Marble with an intensity that rivaled the sun itself.

"...As expected, the son of Surya..."

Iskandar, watching from a distance, let out a rare murmur of acknowledgment.

In that moment, he fully grasped the extent of Karna's power.

This was a warrior worthy of standing alongside Gilgamesh, one of the Three Great Golden Servants.

As the blinding light faded, only a massive crater remained, a scar upon the battlefield resembling the impact of a meteor crashing from the heavens.

Not a trace of the Demon Pilrs remained.

The Demon Pilrs had been completely annihited.
