Sitting back in the rge library in the tower, he returned for more reading about curse energy and techniques. Just as the dy said, Takumi book was still here waiting for him.
For a while he is just stuck in this part, 'how do i awake my maximum technique?' Is the question he was focusing on.
To his effort, Takumi was able to use pse really quick. With his rge pool that only growing, using pse is becoming more easy as he continue to train and learn. Maximum however, is not the same but also kinda is in some capacity which make the learning progress harder to learn.
'There's must be something i'm missing.' He throught, bringing his view to the books beside the one he's been reading.
"You're mistaken." The old libarian dy pointed out by his side,
"Yes ?"
"While both is a extendsion to their original technique, maximum and pse should not be confused with each other. You're thinking that there's a next step after but that's not how it work." She expined.
"I see, then how does it work ?" He turn to ask.
"First, you're going to need to learn about maximum output." She then put another stack of books on the table.
Takumi eyes widen at the newly books, if one were to hear his internal sound. It would be screaming very loudly with joy right about now. As a person who likes to read, more material is something he always welcome to receive.
"Thank you, i'll get right to it." At any rate, Takumi is still greatfull that the dy argee to help him out.
Over the weeks, Takumi been going here to read. He's been nothing but being diligent and thanks to that, the dy was very good natured toward him. Regurly pointing out his mistake like just now, giving him usefull tip to his learning. There's been a day or two with him only reading books here.
"Maximum techniques, the most supreme art of any sorcerer outside of domain expansion. Are the extension originated from the original technique that grew stronger."
"Not to be mistaken with maximum output as maximum output is the normal usage of a technique with increase curse energy into it. Maximum technique effects and usage mechanism are different from the basic attack of the original techniques." He nodded as he read through the lines, finally completing his analysis on this knowledge.
"I got it!" Jumping out from his chair, he now know what Maximum and max output is.
To put in simple term, max output is a basic move with rge amount of curse energy. While Maximum is a power move that change his normal attack into something else.
This whole time he was messing up since he throught his eyes technique was change but that wasn't the case. Since his [paralysis eyes] was focus through his eyes it only have the new form of a beam not the way it affect or the way it's operating. His new maximum should change the effect and his way of using it.
Now Takumi is just in need of somewhere to train, good thing Takumi is only a couple of floors from it. He got up and quickly got himself into the elevator.
"Thank you for the instruction, i'll be right back." He said with a voice full of enthusiasm. Leaving his mess of books still on the table.

"kids these day." The old librarian dy remarked, watching the person leave.

Now that he learn of the new application to his technique, his mind run wild as how can he use them.
Takumi wanna try to have it with [curse speech] first but considering Takichi had it right now he just have to use this for now.
Normaly he could use a technique with any body and changed to another one when needed. But with the distant bewteen Takichi and Takune and himself are a universe apart. [paralysis eyes] is the only one he can use.
"Or....." he look at his stats screen with a smirk.

Usually, Takumi don't have that much luck. Given that his streak of luck doesn't grant him anything too special or powerfull.

[Boots of Swiftness(C)]: a pair of magic boots that gives their owner more speed when using them.
[Trailbzer bat(C)]: an bat made in unknow metal, has a design simir to a baseball bat. Perfect for a trashcan beating racoon.
All of them is nice, some are just right for his uses in sorcery when he inspected the items and skill. The boots is something he can always use for speed boost, increase with magic will certainly help him in a fight, and the baseball.......is nice ?
Fashion wise, he doesn't look that great. But out of the four, he certainly has his eyes focus on the st thing.
[Shadowmancer (A)]: dark magic from the nether realm. Given to noob saibot after being resurrected by Quan Chi. Grant user power of a wraith and control over darkness.
He can feel the immediate effect of it, his own shadow begin to change right under him. Swirling around like a pool of liquid void and deep under is a space he can access to.
'Hmm...this can be usefull.'
Looking through the dark shadow, it works like a pocket dimension to him. With lots of space, if someone were to enter they may not able to see anything but to him, everything is as clear as day.
'I'll see it ter.' Takumi can't be distracted right now, he's still need to test his theory out first. Looking down, he feel a person standing waiting at the door of this floor he's going to. Through his new power he can sense not just his own shadow but every shadow around him, including the shadow of other things for both object and living being alike.
