In a well lit room, with many books in the bookcase, 2 men walked to a single notebook, and opened it up in anticipation

  “This is the one I told you about, it is not well written, but you should seriously check it out”

  They then started reading the first page.

  Suddenly, the sound of the bell was heard, indicating that someone was seeking their service. They hurriedly put the notebook back in the bookcase, and ran outside.

  One person asked for a towel to go swim, the other ordered a hamburger. The two men were busy attending to their duties, but continued to talk with one another.

  “Seriously, I can’t stop thinking about it - that notebook is legit?”

  “YES! I’ve worked here for 10 years, I can swear by it - the guy who wrote this was pranked by a few people, and he truly believed the world was going to end”

  "Ahh well... everyone talks so much about this guy, I just wanted to be in the know - anyway, I skipped a few pages, they weren't interesting. But, look at the last two entries"

  "Wait, isn't that illegal?"

  "Probably why the diary wasn't given to the police and instead hidden once the guy vanished - the owners seriously didn't want anyone to find it. The cleaner found it in the owner's room and brought it here since the owner hasn't been seen for a while anyway, and this was of deep interest to the staff, but we should put it back soon."

  "Ah yah, few pages back, few more illegal things were mentioned"

  "anyway, flip the page already."

  "And it ends here"

  "Anyway, when are we going to check that out?"

  "That was the last entry. So I really want to see what he found" Kyle who started working there a month ago, took out his phone and started taking pictures of the pages in the notebook.

  The other man perplexed replied "count me out kid, I don't want to get fired - that is probably what happened to him, and then he hid out of embarrassment or something"

  Kyle appeared disappointed, but not disheartened - maybe it was curiosity, or perhaps something else- but he was driven to find out what happened to that man.
