Chapter 227: Father Was Attacked!

As the battle tihe golden sand surged forward, finally encirg the winged man and his panion in its ter. Kaminari, shrouded in crag goldericity, gred at them coldly.

"Be gd," Kaminari said, his voice low and unyielding. "If it weren't for these ridiculous ws, you'd all be dead by now."

His tone carried a sharp edge of irritation. He was growing increasingly tired of the legal restris in this world. It wasn't that he wao kill anyone, but in a world like One Piece or Naruto, there'd be no need for such hesitation. There, he could end a fight decisively without w about repercussions.

"Phantom! Stop standing there like a useless idiot!" the winged man shouted, his tone sharp with desperation. "Use your Quirk and trol him! Just one sed is all I need!"

The winged man zigzagged through the air, dodging streams of golden sand that relentlessly pursued him. But no matter how agile his movements were, he couldn't break past Kaminari's perimeter. Every time he tried to escape, Kaminari would transform into golden lightning and intercept him with ease.

"Do you think I haven't tried?!" Phantom shouted back, his voice filled with frustration. He was sweating heavily, his face tense. Ever since Kaminari had activated his electricity, Phantom's Quirk had been pletely iive.

Suddenly, both vilins froze. Their expressions shifted as they registered the distant wailing of sirens.

  "The police…" Phantom muttered.

"It seems your time is running out," Kaminari remarked, his tone calm but ced with an icy chill. He gnced down at the swirling golden sand and frowned slightly. "Still too slow."

He sighed inwardly but quickly dismissed the thought. It wasn't as if the golden sand o be perfect.

"Damn it!" the winged man cursed as the sirens grew louder. In a desperate move, he released his grip on Phantom, allowing him to fall.

  "Sorry…"

  Whoosh!

"Ahhh! You'll regret this!" Phantom roared as he plummeted toward the ground, but his cries were ignored by the winged man, whed forward with a burst of speed.

The winged man's body blurred as he shot forward like a streak of white light, his speed more than doubling. In the blink of an eye, he broke past the golden sand.

"You think speed will save you?" Kaminari sneered, his voice filled with disdain.

With a crag burst of electricity, Kaminari transformed into golden lightning, effortlessly overtaking the fleeing viliopped five meters ahead of him, blog his path.

  "You're not going anywhere—"

But before he could finish his sentehe winged man suddenly stopped mid-air. His expression turned bnk, his body stiff. Without a word, he spun around and began flying back tohantom.

"What… is this?" Kaminari blinked, fused by the sudden turn of events. Theiced the winged man carrying Phantom in a princess-style hold, and the pieces clicked into pce.

"Oh… I see," Kaminari muttered, a smirk tugging at the er of his lips. "Phantom used his Quirk on you, huh?"

The sight was almost edic. The fierce winged man was now obediently flying back, carrying Phantom in an oddly affeate pose.

"If we're going down, you're ing with me!" Phantom cackled, his voice filled with manic glee.

"Looks like I misjudged who the real boss was," Kaminari said with a shake of his head, sighing in exasperation.

Golden sand surged forward, ing around both vilins araining them pletely. Phantom's ughter faded, and the winged man's gre returned as he regained trol of his body.

"You actually used your Quirk on me?!" the winged man growled, his face twisted with rage.

"You act like this is the first time I've do," Phantom replied with a mog smirk.

As the two began bickering, Kaminari ighem and directed the sand to lower them back to the ground.

  "Pika!"

Pikachu ran up to Kaminari, leaping onto his shoulder with a proud expression. It poiriumphantly at the defeated vilins, its cheeks sparking faintly.

"Well done," Kaminari said, rubbing Pikachu's head affeately. He treated Pikachu less like artificial intelligend more like a trusted partner.

Ohe situation was under trol, the arriving professional Heroes and police officers handcuffed the vilins. They checked the criminals for injuries, following protocol to ensure Kaminari wouldn't o apany them to the station for further questioning.

Thirty mier, Kaminari finally returned home. It was around 10:30 p.m.—the test he'd been out in years.

He didn't mentioack to his parents. Instead, he casually brought up his meeting with Dr. Tenma before heading straight to the bathroom for a shower. Pikachu, meanwhile, curled up on the sofa and preteo sleep.

"Should we tell him what happened?" Kaminari's mother whispered, leaning closer to her husband as the sound of running water came from the bathroom.

"Tell him what? What good would it do to worry him unnecessarily?" Kaminari's father replied, frowning. His voice was low, but firm. "I've already told Snatch to keep it a secret, so make sure you don't let anything slip either."

Earlier that day, while on his way home from work, Kaminari's father had been attacked by five vilins attempting to kidnap him. His expensive car had been pletely destroyed during the frontation.

Fortunately, Snatch had beeo protect him, using a sand e teique Kaminari had taught him. In the end, Snatch mao fight off the vilins and even capture one of them, but the experience had been harrowing.

Although Kaminari's father had posed himself quickly, the attack had left a lingering sense of unease.

"But what about the car?" his wife asked, her worry evident. "Won't Kaminari notice it's missing?"

"I'll just tell him I want to buy a better one and that the old car will be used as a pany vehicle," he replied smoothly. "He rarely visits the offiyway, so he won't think much of it."

"Still, it doesn't feel right to keep this from him," she said, her voice tinged with hesitation. "If it happened o could happen again. What if—"

"Life is full of risks," Kaminari's father interrupted, his tone calm but resolute. "There will always be dangers. But telling him now will only make things worse. What if he acts impulsively and does something reckless?

"We'll wait until he gets his Hero lise. Until then, we keep this between us."

His wife sighed, relutly nodding. "Alright. But you'd better be careful. Kaminari and I 't lose you."

"I know. And I 't lose you two either," he replied softly.
