Chapter 243: The All-For-One Experiment

Thus, there was no crete evideo prove that Kaminari had killed anyone. Sure, the burns on the Bck Tiger Gang members' corpses could indicate that Kaminari used his Quirk to ihem.

However, the real issue y in the fact that the bodies also showed severe punctures aions, which were clearly the fatal injuries.

These kinds of injuries? Well, there just so happeo be a Pro Hero on the se capable of inflig them: Snatch.

Everyone khat Snatch's sand could harden to a density parable to steel. He was entirely capable of "creating" ons that could pierce or tear through flesh, leaving behily those kinds of wounds.

And so, the pn was simple: Principal Nezu and the others inteo shift the most serious bme onto Snatch. In this way, Kaminari would only be culpable for injuring people with his Quirk.

But since Kaminari's use of his Quirk had been authorized by U.A. High School as his guardian, it could be argued that ndoing had occurred. With this, the major plications would be reduced to minor issues.

Of course, even if Snatch ro Hero, carrying the bme for over a dozehs wouldn't be easy. At the very least, his Hero lise would be revoked temporarily.

Yet Snatch ultimately agreed to the pn.

Don't misuand, it wasn't because he had a special fondness for Kaminari. Sure, he admired the kid's talents, but not enough to willingly risk his own career for him. After all, their retionship wasn't particurly deep, even if Kaminari had taught him some advanced sand-trol teiques.

The real reason Snatch agreed was the deal offered by Nezu, Yaoyorozu and the Mitsui Foundation.

As part of their arra, Snatch's agency would receive signifit bag from all three parties. This meant that even if his lise were revoked temporarily, his agency wouldn't suffer any long-term damage.

Moreover, he would gain the favor of U.A., the Yaoyorozu family, and the Mitsui Foundation—three powerhouses whose support could elevate his standing within the Hero unity. He wouldn't eveo keep this arra a secret. With everyone knowing that his agency had their bag, his reputation would be untouchable.

  That was the real temptation.

Holy, with such lucrative ditions oable, who in their right mind would refuse? Not to mention, the punishment was only a temporary revocation of his lise, not a perma loss of his Hero credentials. If it had beeer, Snatch might have hesitated, but for the former? It was a no-brainer.

Meanwhile, Yaoyorozu Manshi took on the responsibility of handling police retions. After all, even with their airtight pn, there was no guarahe authorities wouldn't plicate things.

With the three groups w in taheir influence spread like an undercurreh the cover of night, quietly reshaping the situation around Kaminari Denki.

  ---

By the day, the news of a vilin atta a police station in Saitama had already made its way into the m papers and onto the streets.

Meanwhile, Kaminari had been transferred to a police car bound for the Saitama Police Headquarters.

Oddly enough, the interrogation everyone expected never happened. Instead, Kaminari was escorted to a new detention room another solitary cell, unsurprisingly ao wait.

  "Three days…"

Kaminari muttered to himself as he stared up at the surveilnce camera mounted in the er of the room, his tone ced with boredom.

  ---

At the same time, somewhere in a dark, hidden space.

  "Are you ready?"

All For One's distinct hoarse voice broke the oppressive silence, carrying with it a sense of anticipation.

He couldn't help but look forward to this moment.

If Kaminari's proposed method worked, it would mean he could create powerful subordinates without the usual risks or casualties!

In the past, when All For One sought out and stole Quirks, his primary focus had always been on patibility, finding binations that could produce a synergistic effect greater than the sum of their parts.

This approach worked fwlessly for himself, as he fao risk of colpse regardless of how many Quirks he absorbed.

However, applying this same logic to others had led to tless failures over the years. Many of his "test subjects" had died, and even the Nomu that survived were the result of exterial and error.

But Kaminari's approach was fually different. While it restricted the sele of Quirks to those of a simir type, making the process ily more challenging, it could theoretically elimihe risk of colpse entirely.

If this method succeeded, All For One could potentially create subordinates who were both powerful and fully funal, without the mindless limitations of the Nomu.

"Ready," replied the man in the white b coat, his perpetually fake smile pstered across his face. He stepped aside, revealing what y behind him.

  "BOSS!"

A bck-haired young man with striking blue eyes, who had been pushing a white medical bed forward, immediately stopped in his tracks. Seeing All For One before him, he dropped to one knee, his face alight with excitement.

"I called you here because I want to grant you eveer power," All For One said, his toeady but brimming with authority. "Power that will set you apart from the rest of the weaklings. This is what you've always desired, isn't it?"

All For One had reviewed the young man's background thhly. While the man's ambitions far outstripped his actual abilities, his loyalty was undeniable. It was this bination of ambition and unwaveriion that had earned him this opportunity.

"Thank you, BOSS!" the young man excimed, his voice trembling with emotion. "I swear, with this power, I will carry out your every and without fail!"

"It was your loyalty that set you apart from the others and gave you this ce. Don't squa."

With that, All For Oured toward the unscious woman lying on the bed.

"Your Quirk allows you to extract water from your own body and trol it externally," he expined. "But because of this, you have to drink water frequently to avoid dehydration whenever you use your ability."

  "Yes, BOSS!"

The young man nodded fervently. This was ihe greatest fw in his Quirk. While he sidered his water trol skills to rival those of any Pro Hero, the limitations of his ability had always held him back.

"And now, you have a ce to overe that limitation," All For One tinued. "Because this woman's Quirk plement yours perfectly."

"What's her Quirk?" the young man asked eagerly, his gaze fixed on the unscious woman.

"It's a simple ability," All For One replied. "In fact, many who prioritize bat effectiveness would dismiss it as useless. Her Quirk allows her to draw moisture from the air and replenish her body's water reserves. That's all."

The man in the white coat adjusted his gsses with a sly smile. "In other words, she never o drink water. She'll never get thirsty or suffer from heatstroke, it's a purely utilitarian ability."

The young man's blue eyes widened in realization, his excitement growing. "This… this Quirk… it's incredible!"

"And if you successfully absorb her ability," All For One added, "I will send you to capture another individual whose Quirk, 'Flood Manipution,' will provide the final piece you need. With that, your trol over water will bee unparalleled."

  "I'll be perfect!"

The young man's heart raced with anticipation. The thought of evolving his Quirk filled him with awe and an even deeper respect for All For One.

  "The's begin."
