Shang Tsung stood atop a jagged cliff overlooking a storm-tossed sea in this new realm. The fissure had brought him to a version of Earth unlike any he had entered. It thrummed with power... a magic, celestial energy, and a plethora of forces both familiar and alien. His sorcery had anchored him to this realm, f a cealed base within the hollowed-out chambers of a dormant volo. The location was ideal... secluded and radiati energy he could siphon to stabilize the rift.
However, he took time to iigate the situation of that Earth and found out some critical information. With that done, he began the part of his pn.
The sorcerer raised his hands, ting itural nguage of his dark arts. Tendrils of green energy spiraled outward, weaving into a shimmering, oval-shaped portal that pulsed with the otherworldly glow of Outworld. From the glowing portal he had jured, two figures emerged. Skarlet, the Blood Mage, stepped out first, her crimson hair flowing wildly and her crimson armlistening in the glow of the portal. She looked around, eyeing the unfamiliar ndscape with suspi.
A moment ter, Frost, the cyberic ancer, followed. Her short white hair was ly brushed bad cold smoke was rising from her cyberic armor.
"Tsung," Skarlet said, her toral. She stood tall, her deferenor hostility. "The Emperor has seo assist. And to observe. What do you want?"
Shang Tsung's lips curled into a knowing smile. "This Earth holds potential that could reshape Outworld's fate. But its defenders are formidable. Subtlety will ensure our success here, and I've chosen you and Frost to act as my instruments."
Skarlet's crimson eyes narrowed. "Instruments? Careful how you phrase that, sorcerer. I am here uhe Emperor's and. I'll carry out this mission because it serves Outworld, not you."
Shang Tsung's smile faltered for a moment before returning with practiced ease. "Of course, Skarlet. Your loyalty to the Emperor is uioned. But I trust you uand the need for cooperation... for now."
Frost, unbothered by their exge, interrupted. "What's the task?"
Shang Tsuended a hand, projeg images of Earth's mightiest defenders into the air. Glowing silhouettes flickered: sorcerers wielding a magic, humans imbued with iergy and forces unknown, and teological marvels rivaling the iy of Outworld's greatest minds. He stopped as the face of the stro warrior oh appeared.
"Peter Parker, the stro warrior of this realm. The most powerful being on this p. After killing an A God and a Titan with unimaginable power, Peter has eliminated more or less all evil from this p. More or less..." Shang Tsung turo Skarlet and Frost. "Do not approach him unless you want to die. First, infiltrate the society and blend in. Slowly gather information on the warriors, their weakness, strength... Everything. We ot afford recklessness. Once you have done your task, inform me, and we will strike when it is time."
Skarlet folded her arms, her expression unreadable. "Blend in? You expect Frost ao py spies? I hope you've prepared more than just pretty pictures for this mission."
"You are here because you are resourceful," Shang Tsung replied, his voice calm but edged with warning. "You will not have the luxury of brute force or overt sorcery. Use subtlety. Adapt."
He extended a glowioward Skarlet. "This artifact will shield you from dete by their magid teology. Frost's enhas already provide simir prote."
Skarlet took the gem without a word, studying it briefly before tug it away. "Fine. But don't fet, Tsung, I'm here because the Emperor ordered it. Not because I trust you. The moment you try something unpleasant..." She summoned an orb of blood over her palm. "I'll boil your blood and burn your i."
"Trust," Shang Tsung said with a faint chuckle, "is not required. Results are."

[Frost's side]
Frost, the cyberic ancer, wasted no time. Cloaked by the artifact's shielding magic, she made her way to the heart of Earth's defenses: S.H.I.E.L.D.. Her reaissance had revealed a facility that hummed with activity, one of the many operational hubs maintained by the agency. This one, located in a repurposed off the Atntic coast, was remote but vital—a data rey station that ected global intelligeo S.H.I.E.L.D.'s aers.
Standing on a nearby ice shelf, Frost observed the base. Her breath, cold and misty, mingled with the arctid as she analyzed the patrol patterns and sensor arrays. Despite their advaeology, the agents here were no match for her precision and stealth.
With a flick of her wrist, she summoned a shard of ice. "Let's begin," She shot it toward the facility's unications array, embedding it in the rey tower. The shard pulsed with a faint blue light, releasing microscopiites into the system. Frost smiled as she felt the data streams pour into her cyberic processors.
Ihe facility, the lights flickered. Agents scrambled to diaghe cause, but by the time they realized they'd been breached, Frost was already ihe air grew colder as she moved through the halls, her footsteps silent oeel floors.
She ehe data vault, a fortified room tainiive files oh's defenders, including their movements, abilities, and vulnerabilities. Pg a small, crystalline devito the sole, she began downloading the encrypted files.
Through the interface, Frost's eyes sed the files, notiargets:
Stephen Strange: A sorcerer capable of bending time and space.
Carol Danvers: A ic powerhouse who could rival Outworld's mightiest.
Wanda Maximoff: A wielder of agic. Dangerous and votile.
Peter Parker: The apex defender of this realm, whose celestial power overshadowed all others.
Her focus lingered on Parker. The records spoke of his strength, his family, and his achievements. "You're the jewel, aren't you?" she muttered. "But even a diamond has fws."
The device beeped, signaling the download's pletion. Frost removed it, erased her tracks, and slipped out of the facility as quietly as she had entered. By the time the agents restored their systems, the intruder was long gone, leaving only a faint frost on the walls as a calling card.

[Skarlet's side]
While Frost infiltrated the light, Skarlet desded into darkness. The ohriving underworld of Earth had been shattered by Peter Parker's relentless crusade against crime. Few remnants remained... pockets of desperation ging to the shadows.
In a decrepit bar hiddeh the ruins of a long-abandoned warehouse, the dregs of society gathered. Superpowered criminals who had survived Parker's purges drank in sullen sileheir spirits crushed and their numbers dwindling.
Skarlet ehe bar, her presence like a predator stalking prey. Her crimson hair flowed like blood, and her dark armleamed uhe flickering neon sign above the entrance. She ighe wary stares of the patrons as she made her way to the ter.
The bartender, a grizzled man with cyberic arms, looked up. His meical fiwitched as if instinctively preparing for a fight. "We're closed," he growled.
Skarlet smirked, leaning forward. "I'm not here for drinks." Her voice was silky yet edged with menace. "I'm here for information. Who still stands in this pathetic excuse for an underworld?"
The bartender hesitated. Around the room, the patrons exged gnces, some sneering, others shifting uneasily. One man, a burly figure with glowing red eyes, stood and cracked his knuckles. "You lost, dy?"
Skarlet didn't even look at him. With a flick of her wrist, a tendril of blood shot out from her palm, ing around the man's throat. She yanked him forward, her eyes gleaming as she whispered, "You'll be the first."
The man's body vulsed as Skarlet drained him, his blood swirling into her as if it had a will of its own. He colpsed in a lifeless heap, and the room erupted into chaos.
The thugs took out their ons... Guns, bdes, cws, and even a saw. They charged Skarlet as one, determio put ao this intruder. But the Blood Mage didn't even move from her pce. Instead, she flicked her finger and a sed ter, everyone except the bartender exploded like water balloons. Blood and guts rained on Skarlet. She smiled, sav the sweet taste of life as it dripped down her face. Flesh and guts were spttered everywhere like a set of a horror movie.
She turned back to the bartender, who was c behind the ter. "I think you were saying?"
"Th-the big crime bosses are dead," he stammered, his eyes wide with terror. "But there's a handful of survivors that still stick together. And there's the new Green Goblin, recruiting superpower humans."
Skarlet raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Green Goblin? That sounds like a name."
"He's got powers and stuff. And he's got this whole new gang... all of 'em with superpowers. I hear he's got pns for something big. Something to take out the heroes."
"That's useful," Skarlet said as she licked the blood off her lips. "Location, if you may?"
"Sahara desert, underground. That's all I know, I swear! I don't want no trouble."
"What use do I have now that you've told me everything?" Skarlet asked rhetorically before jumping over the ter and grabbing the bartender's face with both hands. She maniputed his blood, f him to look directly into her eyes.
The man struggled in vain, his face twisted in pain as all the blood began to rush to his face, "Arrrggg!!!"
"Sushh! It will be over soon." Skarlet purred and a moment ter, his eyes popped out and blood began to gush out of all the holes in his face like a waterfall. She took a deep breath and sucked the air in, abs all the blood.
The bartender's body crumbled into a dry corpse, falling to the floor with a soft thud.
"Tsk. Bnd..." Skarlet said as she licked the blood off her fingers, then grabbed the bottles behind the ter and took a sip. "Bleh."
With a flick of her wrist, she jured a portal of blood, stepping through it and vanishing into the night.
