Chapter 410

The next day arrived, and Anton’s classes continued normally. He focused on the lectures his teachers were teaching them since they were truly full of knowledge that he needed to function as a wizard. After just a few classes, Anton realized that his decision to learn the basics was the correct one and he committed himself to not stopping the lessons as long as he was in the Amelia.

The classes did not take a long time anyway, just three hours a day for three days a week, and the rest of the time would be spent doing whatever he wanted to do. Mostly those would be focused on his own Diablo II system like leveling up his characters, hunting for the best gears, and creating enchanted items.

Other things that he was doing which Anton thought was necessary was his music and spending time with his friends. During lunchtime, Anton and his classmates were sad to see that the restaurant where they ate was now full of people, unlike before when they could eat in peace.

Of course, they did not begrudge the restaurant owner of his right to earn coins but they thought that they may need to find some other places since it appeared that there wouldn’t have a place in the restaurant.

Anton and his classmates decided then that it would be better for them to return to where their families were to eat there so they separated and Anton went directly to the suite but he did find a place to eat first and chose a high class one since choosing a place like that meant that there would be fewer customers.

When he returned to the suite, Anton saw that he was the first one there, so he headed directly to his room and closed his door but he did post a note saying that he was inside.

The first thing that Anton did was to create his three enchanted items first then he leveled up his newly created Barbarian character. He needed to focus since the Barbarian was unfamiliar to him. Whenever there was a chance for Anton to play games, he usually chose wizards or magician characters and rarely did he choose melee ones but since he had been playing Diablo II for a while, he did experience leveling up all of the characters one time or another, it was just that he wasn’t truly focused on them.

At around six in the evening, he stopped leveling up, but he did level up his Barbarian to level thirteen. The last hour before dinner was spent practicing his magic and adding a cover song to his budding album cover song.

During dinner, everyone talked about what they did that day. After dinner, they all watched the last film of the Star Wars first trilogy but once he was done, he was bombarded by questions by everyone.

“Are there any more movies from the Star Wars universe?” Anna asked, and Anton admitted that there were nine movies for the main franchise, a few movie spinoffs, and several television shows.

When he said that information, everyone gasped, and Anton rolled his eyes at everyone’s reactions.

“Star Wars is an incredibly popular franchise that brought in a lot of wealth to the producers of the films and television shows. Not only that, but it also had several books, gadgets, and toys based on the franchise. The dimension where the movies came from is ruled by capitalists so that meant that if something is incredibly profitable, the logical conclusion was to milk it for all its worth. I just have to warn you that according to critics and audiences ratings, not all materials from the franchise had the same quality but in my opinion, most of them are still worth the watch.”

Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.

“Can we watch the next films in the franchise?” Anders asked his son, and since it was his father who asked, Anton had no choice but to nod.

The next day was the reopening of the cinema, and the movie that was going to be shown was still Beauty and The Beast so Anton understood that his family must be bored and wanted to watch something new.

“What’s going to be the next film?” Antonia asked.

“The next films are Episode 1: The Phantom Menace, Episode II: Attack of the Clones, and Episode III: Revenge of the Sith,” Anton answered.

He then gave a brief synopsis of the films and that whetted the appetites of everyone.

“I’m so glad I’m now part of this family. I can now watch films that other people might need to wait a long time for before they can see them,” Selena said, and her two friends, Norma and Belue, agreed with her.

Anton was surprised that even the female bodyguards that his father had hired to protect the girls were also nodding.

After that discussion, they all went to their rooms to rest but Anton did not sleep yet after taking a bath. He decided to practice his spells since it had been quite some time since he had focused on them, so he spent a couple of hours doing it.

The next day, after breakfast, Anton was surprised to see his friends Torun and the others waiting by the door when they returned from the breakfast buffet.

“What are you all doing here?” Anton asked his friends after his family had left to do their thing.

“We haven’t been together since last week, and we thought that you might be tired with your classes so here we are!” Torun exclaimed.

“Yes, Anton. Come with us and let’s play!” Andrea added.

Anton decided to go with them since he had nothing important to do anyway. The first thing they did was to visit the deck where they met. There, they watched the ocean, but there was nothing to see. There were no animals like whales, dolphins, or other fishes that fly above the water so after a few minutes they got bored. Anton then thought that he wanted to buy an item that records a video since he wanted a permanent record of his song covers, like a live album of some sort, so he invited Torun, Blake, Andrea, and Soren to the magic bazaar section of the ship.

“We normally don’t go there since the merchants there looked at us funny like we’re going to steal something. As we would have the nerve to steal in a place guarded by mages!” Soren was surly when he said it.

“I also don’t like going there. I can ignore those merchants and some of those mages that had their noses up in the air, but the things there are so magical and beautiful, and it saddens me a bit that I can only look,” Andrea added.

“I just need to buy a magic recording item, and after that, we can leave. I planned to record the songs that I sang so my family can listen to them anytime they want,” Anton said.

They went to the magic bazaar and entered one of the largest magic shops there. Anton was approached by one of the salesgirls there and asked if the “Archmage Sunder” needed something. He quickly gave a description of what he needed, and the saleslady led them to the waiting area, served them tea, and left to bring some of the items that fit his description.

“They know who you are here? Have you been here before?” Soren asked.

Andrea rolled her eyes at her friend.

“Anton is a well-known archmage on the ship. He was the youngest archmage, and his family is the owner of the cinema, so everyone knows him by now,” Andrea said to Soren cuttingly.

Anton, Torun, and Blake just laughed while they waited for the items that the saleslady was getting from somewhere in the store.
