The movie that would be shown the next day was a new one on the list of films that Anton, Anders, Nemina, Antonia, Lucia, and Philip created based on Anton’s input regarding each of the film’s synopses. He also showed them the theatrical trailers of each movie that was on the list, and the trailers even prompted Antonia and the others to watch some of the films. Still, he said it would be better if they all watched it together with the audience since they could use the fact that they hadn’t seen the movie as a draw for the passengers to watch it.
“We don’t need to draw them. It’s a given that each and every one of them will watch the films that will be shown at the cinema. There are very few things that would entertain a passenger on the Amelia, and the cinema was considered a divine gift that alleviated one's boredom,” Lucia said.
“Regardless. It’s a waste of time for us to have a separate viewing of the films but I will give a copy of the films that would be shown for the next two weeks a few days before it’s opening to my father so you can ask him if you really want to view it earlier that the passengers.”
The new film that would be shown was the fantasy film Stardust featuring Claire Danes and Charlie Cox. Anton hadn’t seen the film, and he only chose it because it was one of the movies that was listed on the list of fantasy films that he searched over the internet.
The whole family would watch the film on the opening day, and it was becoming a tradition for the family to watch the new films on their opening day. Anton thought that the idea of making that tradition had its merit because the passengers found it intriguing that the owners of the cinema hadn’t seen the film as well and were going to watch them together with them.
Anton even found out that his father didn’t allow Antonia, Lucia, and Philip to watch the film first. He thought that maybe his father didn’t want Anton’s rich friends to spread the information that they were able to watch the movie before the owners of the cinema.
The funny thing was that Walter was almost always not with the original four rich nobles anymore but with Anton’s family mages. The rich young man was truly determined to increase his wizardly rank, so the man had been relentless in his magic practice.
Walter was even now permanently staying in Anton’s family suite. Antonia, Lucia, and Philip sometimes slept in there as well; that was the reason they transferred to a larger suite with a huge discount so Antonia and the others could rest there as well. Antonia, Lucia, and Philip only stayed a few times each week, though not like Walter, and the main reason they wanted to stay in Anton’s family suite was because they did not want to miss any television shows that the family would watch.
Normally, Thursdays were supposed to be the day that Anton, Torun, Blake, Andrea, and Soren would stay in his room converted into a band practice place temporarily so they could practice music and talk, but that changed when they decided to watch the new films together during its opening day.
After breakfast, they all went to the cinema so they could watch the new film that was selected, which was Stardust and Anton, with his family, met Torun and the others on the way there. Being the owners of the movies, Anton’s family had the privilege of entering the cinema first, and of course, no one complained.

When the movie ended, it appeared that the audience liked it, but Anton was not too thrilled about the film. More than likely it was because he was starting to experience some sort of fatigue to the genre of movies they had been watching. He decided to talk to his father about it later that night since he didn’t want their audience to think that the movie selection their family had was limited.
Anton and his friends said goodbye to his father and the others who would stay to cater to the family business. Anna and the rest were the same. They planned to return to the suite to practice magic.
They did eat lunch on the way home with his friends saying that they would prefer to go home first. Anton knew they were just embarrassed that Anton kept treating them, but for him, it was understandable. He was the richest in the group, being an archmage, and their family owned the cinema. Besides, the bill for their meal was not that high anyway and that was, he said to persuade his friends to eat lunch with him at a restaurant.
Anna, Frederick, Lunelle, Ramona, Belinda, and Walter also joined them, but they sat at a different table.
“Why didn’t your sister and the other members of your family join us?” Andrea asked softly.
“We’ll only get bored if we join them. They will keep talking about magic, and we will not be able to relate,” Anton answered.
“Maybe we can’t relate, but of course, as a wizard, you should be able to,” Blake said.
“Not really. My magic system is different. I can learn the standard magic system that my sister and the others are using, but for now, I’m focused on my bloodline magic, which is hugely different from the standard magic that mages use,” Anton said.
“I wish I could become a mage,” Andrea whispered.
For a moment, Anton was tempted to tell his friends about the secret of regular people becoming mages. If he shared it with them, it would change their life, but probably not for the better. First, it would be terrifyingly difficult for any one of his friends to become a mage with an item that had the option to add to the mana stats because it would take an exceedingly long time of memorizing a spell before they could enter the minimum threshold of becoming a mage and he knew from what Frederick had told him that ninety-nine point nine percent of people would give up.
Anton knew that a person would only be successful if they had great advantages like a place enriched with mana or an aura like Anton’s that helped wizards to memorize a spell in a short amount of time.
Secondly, if anyone knew that his “muggle” friends knew the secret of ordinary people becoming mages, they might encounter interest from unscrupulous people who might resort to cruel things to learn the secret.
Because of those reasons, Anton held off the urge to share the sensitive information that a magic item that would increase a person's magical energy, aka add to the mana stats, would allow them to memorize a spell that would allow them to become mages.
Frederick theorized that that information wasn’t that too much of a secret since it was a bit obvious, but the fact that it would take a regular person weeks to memorize a single spell probably made everyone assume that it was impossible.
After lunch, everyone headed to Anton’s family suite. Anton and his friends went to his room so they could hang out there, practicing for their band or just talking about inane things.
The other mages remained in the living room in the home theater set up to practice their magic. To be honest, Anton found their magic practice extremely monotonous and boring, and he was thankful that he didn’t have to do something like that.
After a few hours, Anton’s friends left, and since he still had time before dinner, he entered his Diablo II system and continued leveling up his Amazon character.
